Room 5015; starboard. Very quiet, lots of room to store suitcases under beds. Balcony was completely covered and had 2 comfortable chairs and ottoman. Tub and shower in bathroom with clothesline. Their hairdryer overheats easily - Bring your own!! Loved dvd player with complementary movies (never did get a chance to watch) The bow is opened on this floor when in Glacier Bay, so it was very convenient. Our cabin had more storage than I remember in the past. 3 closet doors (one was just shelves where the safe was), space under the sink, 2 drawers in each of the night stands, a large drawer under each bed and 2 large drawers under the sofa. We had no problems with plumbing or air conditioning. Still can't figure out which switch turns on which lights... we never did figure out how to turn the light on next to the mirror. Our DVD was broken, no big deal, we were just going to look at some pictures we purchased. Only 2 plugs at the small desk to charge cameras, phones and computers. Poor layout made this small balcony cabin seem even smaller than it is. The closet configuration is odd at best. The shelving lifts up but in then ruins the hanging closet part -- a passenger can't have a dress or longer jacket hanging without getting crushed by the shelf. Without the shelf in place, there is only one shelf in the closet. Bathroom is adequate, except for storage. Most of the bathroom storage is on the one under shelf  Read entire member review.

Our stateroom was on port (left) side deck 5, Verandah deck. Verandah Cabin 5142. The official website boost largest cabins in the industry but I did not find this to be true. It seems to me to be the same size cabin as those on Princess and Carnival. The bathroom, however, was very large with a bath tub. This may have taken additional space and thereby made the cabin seem smaller or similar size to other cruise lines. The balcony, however, was larger than Princess Cruises. There are VERY few outlets. I highly recommend bringing and surge protector for additional outlets. Our cabin was close to the aft elevators and we found it to be quiet. Great balcony view!  Read entire member review.

5144 - our verandah cabin was portside and aft near the stairs and elevators. We were not disturbed by noise in the area and had easy access to other floors. However, mid-ship is better to access all activities. Although we were across from the room steward's closet, we were never disturbed.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 5178. Has shower which is small but serviceable, had a very long vanity which made storing our essentials a snap. There are three closets, two have bars for hanging clothes. Other closet has shelves and houses the safe. A small night stand with 2 small drawers on either side of the bed. Two large drawers, one under each side of the bed gave plenty of storage.
