We had the perfect position midships on Deck 5. We did look down at the top of the life boats. That made for a slight loss of view but overall did not detract from our experience. The balcony and the cabin seemed a bit small. The storage was fantastic. The bathroom was fine, but the shower curtain would have been nicer if it was clear. There is no light in that area and the curtain makes it quite dark when bathing. Our plumbing functioned perfectly, but we heard from other cruisers lots of problems with leaks. We did see engineers frequently in the halls working on other cabins. Read entire member review.
Oddly configured cabin and balcony, but allows a wonderful forward view down the starboard side... great for the Panama Canal or similar. Read entire member review.
The veranda is terrific and quiet most of the time. Occasionally music drifts in from sailing away parties on the Lido deck. The room is small to be classified a suite. There is a couch, but you cannot use it easily because the chairs and coffee table prevent access. Read entire member review.
Beautiful stateroom (but please don't heavily promote it as we want it back on future cruises!) The wrap-around deck, available binoculars, blankets for snuggling up on the deck were just right for people like us who wanted to see it all. Huge, comfy bed, lots of room and plenty of closet space. Didn't even get to try the whirlpool tub because we were so busy doing other things on the ship! And -- hey -- the clock resets itself when time zones change! Read entire member review.
