DIRTY!!!  Numerous complaints, both verbal, and written.  by the end of the week, the sputum was still on the balcony glass.  Funny, I dont think i was the only one unhappy with the cabin - i had gone down to the customer service desk, and seen a notice they put up, no room transfers, all cabins are full.

Glass elevators were always dirty.

Observed the buffet staff mopping around big particles of food.  and the person running the vaccum, was also doing so, around particles of food.

Cabin was nice in itself, but bed was uncomfortable and walls were very thin.

Ocean view porthole - aft.
great for two ladies but also equipped with a bunk bed and a trundle bed - 4 people would be too many unless small children were involved.

Wonderful cruise by warrior69

Roomy with adequate space for getting around with a walker. Good-sized bathroom with well designed handicap-access features. Comfortable bed. A comfortable chair would have been nice.

8525 is an inside forward cabin. It is exactly as pictures portray with carpet variations of course. It is located close to the elevators, but far enough away that there is no elevator traffic noise. However, it is also right above the theatre. When bands are playing loudly of the rare show having bass pumped out...thump, thump, thump etc...you can hear the bass at low level noise value. I did not find it either often enough nor loud enough to stop me from selecting the same cabin again if necessary...not really a problem per se : ) Beds are comfortable, but hair dryers very heavy. If you have arthritis in your wrists or shoulders, you may prefer to bring along your own light-weight one. Overall...a good cabin!

This cabin is in a fantastic location. Only a few cabins from the forward elevator. Directly above the Stardust Theater, so by 10pm there was usually no noise in the area. The balcony was slightly enclosed, but still had a fantastic view!

I really did enjoy our stateroom. I liked the decor with the turquoise doors and colourful carpet. We had more than enough storage for all of our crap and although it was cozy to have all 4 of us in there it was really nice. I think my son was actually upset to be put in his own room upon our return. I also really liked our location on the 8th deck. Obviously it is not our bed at home but for the most part I had no problems falling asleep. Some of the duvets being used were a little worn but that didn't skeeve me out (just told me that they had been thoroughly washed). As a lady who has a little extra weight the doors to enter the bathroom and the shower were a tight fit, and they reminded me of travelling in a motorhome when I was a kid, albeit with nicer decor.

Starboard side, forward end. Larger than expected. Lots of cubby holes around the clothes closet to stash trinkets until you're ready to pack them. Balcony looked like it might have been smaller than those mid-ship, but it is also entirely covered both on top and on the sides, providing better privacy and protection from rain/wind. Starboard side provides a fantastic view of Downtown Boston and Logan Airport as you depart. Bathroom is small, but the split setup does help. Quiet location very near the forward stairs/elevators, makes it easy to get to the theater and casino, but it's a long walk to the Venetian main dining room.

Another great cruise by time2travl

Not sure why they call it mid-ship, I call it aft. At first I was upset when I saw the location on the deck plans, but once I got aboard and entered I liked the sideways layout. We used the pull down bunk as storage as the closet is a bit tight. Don't try to use the closet and enter the bathroom at the same time with two unless you don't mind rubbing each other. All in all it's good for 2. Maybe even 3 if you simply use it to change cloths and sleep. It's a good basic cabin, close to the elevator, the MDR, Spinaker. and it's quiet. really quiet..

This is an AFT-facing penthouse suite. Nowhere near the rest of the suite cabins.

Nice cabin, but seemed smaller than a similar cabin location on the STAR. Balcony was definitely smaller - ok in width, but shallow in depth. Cabin above us can look down and see us while we are standing at the railing. We missed the extra cubbies to stash stuff. That said, it is still a very nice cabin and comfortable. Espresso machine. Fresh flowers, water bottle, bottle of champagne, fresh fruit bowl and chocolate covered strawberries were there when we arrived.

Bed was very comfy -- but I haven't had a bed yet on an NCL cruise that I didn't sleep like a baby. We requested the memory foam (Tempur-pedic) pillows that we like. They seemed flatter and weirder shaped than usual, but got the job done. Room comes with a butler. We enjoy breakfast on our balcony so he brought us breakfast every day. He sets the table for us too. Little did he know he could have just dropped it off and ran for all we cared. The room gets an afternoon snack every day. Our butler noticed that we didn't eat the canapés they left one day, but devour the cookies, chocolates and chocolate-covered strawberries, etc., so he only left things we enjoyed -- without our asking I might add.

Bathroom has a tub/shower combo. Fairly deep tub if you like a nice long soak. No jets. They provide the bath salts. They provide bottled shampoo, conditioner and bath gel, plus there is a dispenser. Not sure why there is both, but I only used the bottles. Also bar soap. There is a separate vanity area, with seat. There are three drawers in the vanity for stuff, and a couple cubbies on the side. Full length mirror on the closet doors. You can access the closet from both sides (the back or the front). Less congestion when both of us are getting ready at the same time.

There is a table for dining. A couch that converts to a bed. A small round coffee table. A large umbrella. Plenty of room under the bed for suitcases.

Suite Life on the Dawn by cruzin_ga_gal

The owner's suite with two balconies was really nice. The half bath came in handy with 3 people and there was enough room that we didn't feel confined. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of drawer space. There were three small draws in the closet, but no more. We all lived out of our suitcases, except what was hung up. The other thing I will comment on is the front balcony. Being at the front of the ship, it was nice go get sun during port days, but it was closed when we were sailing. Granted it was rough leaving out of Boston, the balcony door was open for us to go out and experience the front during sailing. On the way out of Bermuda, although the seas weren't as rough, they locked the door so that we could not access the balcony. Please note that if you are in a room with only a forward facing balcony, you may lose your balcony during sailing.

Overall I think the experience of free style cruising converted me over.

The cabin felt very small but this could be because the beds are larger than I am used to. We had an interior cabin so we weren’t expecting much. There was essentially no floor space, but we spent almost no time in the cabin other than to sleep, so it really didn’t matter to me.

We had balcony rooms on the 9th floor. I was pleasantly surprised at the size. I expected it to be smaller. The balcony is small – 2 chairs and a small table – but I won’t cruise without a balcony again! There is plenty of room to put your clothes. We had 3 drawers and 4 big shelves along with a good amount of space to hang things. There are also a few cubbies that you can store things. The bathroom is small, especially the toilet area but you get used to it! I loved the location of our room. It wasn't near the elevators or stairs but was close enough that we didn't have to walk far. There were rooms above and below us so everything was fairly quiet.

R/T Boston to Bermuda by Cali4niagirl

Our cabin (9710) was spacious enough for the two of us. There was a decent sized closet with some shelves inside, plenty of room under the bed for storing our suitcases. I always bring an over the door shoe holder (the kind with pockets) to hang in the bathroom for additional storage. The bathroom was the largest I've had on a cruise, the shower was larger than a past cruise as well. The deck is on the smaller side but two chairs and a small table fit great. Our cabin Steward was Harvey, he was always good about taking care of anything we wanted or needed. I would just leave him a note if I didn't see him in/out of other cabins. The towel animals were fun to come back to each evening. Don't forget to turn the dial outside your main hallway door for the type of service or privacy you desire.
The bed was a bit hard but I prefer firm over soft personally. You may be able to ask for an egg crate but we didn't bother.
Harvey was really good about providing fresh towels all the time. I would hang my towel up to use again and he would take it down and replace it with a clean folded towel in the towel rack.
I hope you find this cabin review helpful.

Our 1st Cruise by mhoff1993

The was a great location for a room. Close to the elevators and being mid-ship I don't feel you fell the motion of the ship as much. The location was quiet from ship noises. It was located on starboard side so we have a port side view once we go into Bermuda. Our Steward was great. Great towel animals.

10705 is two decks below Lido. The balcony cabin was a little tight compared to a mini suite but there is enough storage space on the closet shelves and in the closet itself BUT the closet doors open toward the bathroom door so you have to maneuver around to get stuff out. The shower had great water pressure and sliding glass doors which were a nice touch but the toilet area was a tad small. We had no noise or cigarette smoke problems and there was no heavy elevator traffic or young kids running in the hallway.

Suite was very nice with the exception of some peeling wallpaper in the second bedroom and a couple of cracked tiles in the master shower area. Plenty of space and with two bathrooms and bedrooms gives everyone their space. The balcony is nice. The shower and jetted tub in the master bathroom both have wonderful windows overlooking the ocean. It is so nice to soak in a tub and watch the world go by. The shower is also jetted and had a rain spout on top. The beds are very comfortable and have wonderful sheets, comforters, and pillows. Plenty of storage. One draw back is the lack of outlets. We brought some powers tips with us so we could plug in everything we needed to. We also brought some magnets with so we could hang notes to each other and keep the surfaces clear of clutter.

Just average by smjones

We booked a mini suite for our family of four (2 adults, a 6 yr old and a 4 yr old). The size of the room was better than the regular balcony room that another couple in our party had. The bathroom in our room was good size for a cruise ship bathroom. There was a tub/shower with a pull out that provided some privacy from the sink area. The toilet area also had the pull out divider. The room had two twin beds pulled together and a sofa that pulled out for our daughters. Our 4 year old said it was "hard as a rock" but she had no trouble sleeping. There is a curtain that can be drawn between the sofa and the bed for privacy.

Fantastic room for a family or 4-5 adults. We had a king bed, murphy bed and fold out sofa ( ask for eggcrate).
The bathroom was of good size and layout with double sinks, tub and separate shower with rainforest showerhead. The floor to ceiling windows were great to view the outside. Close to elevators or pool area. We didn't miss having a balcony since you could be outside in 2-3 minutes.
The butler will bring dvd's, snacks, etc when requested.

Don't book 11578 on the Norwegian Dawn if you like to sleep past 6am. The cabin is directly under the pool deck and the crew was up bright and early every day moving the tables, chairs and lounges.  Read entire member review.

Suite 10500. Deck 10 Forward, under bridge. Smaller than expected at this price point, abundant storage, very small bathroom and well worn. Veranda has two chaise lounges but no table for alfresco dining. Mostly quiet.  Read entire member review.

The cabin was nice. The balcony was a little small but we had everything we needed. They should probably do a better job of seperating smokers balconies from non because our neighbors stunk baby! But with a good wind it was tolerable :-)

Cabin - window, 5th level. Very noisy. Under the main walkway to the casino. Never thought about this booking the cabin. People walking above until very late. Cabin was cozy, clean. Cabin steward was awesome. Always helpful and friendly. Liked the door to the toilet area, separating shower and vanity.  Read entire member review.

We were fortunate to be assigned to a handicapped cabin, so we had spacious accommodations - especially considering we were in an inside cabin. The ship's satellite TV reception was spotty - often going for several hours with fewer than the posted selection of channels. I learned to loathe FOX News! Our steward was great, but the cabin was much in need of a good carpet cleaning.  Read entire member review.

Bathrooms much larger (that is, about a couple more square feet) than any I've seen on a cruise ship before. Inside cabin was just fine for us as all we did there was sleep, shower, and, well, maybe a little bit more . . . Were were in 10591, and deck 10 is nicely situated between the pool deck, on 12, and the public rooms on 6 and 7 - thus, you can avoid the elevators often and take the stairs instead.  Read entire member review.

Good sized closet; fantastic shower size; good location, but a bit difficult to get to room on port days and last morning, when people were lined up in our hallway to disembark; square table in corner by end of bed was a complete nuisance - could hardly get around the end of the bed.  Read entire member review.
