We were very pleased with the cabin - clean, comfortable - especially the bed. Having the balcony was a real benefit. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 9058: We had a standard balcony on the 9th floor. The room was smaller than our prior NCL ship, the Sun, but OK. Tight fit to go around the bed and most of the shelving was in the closet so difficult to use. However, luggage fit easily under the bed. If you prefer more room, I suggest a mini-suite. We did like the bathroom -- largest shower we've had in a balcony, also good layout. Our room steward was very pleasant and efficient, she made some great towel animals. One rec -- bring bars of soap as they only have liquid soap dispensers. Read entire member review. |

We had a balcony cabin 9066 on the Dawn .The room was large enough for 3 adults. The balcony was small but had two chairs and a small table. We had no problem with smoke from another balcony, and it was very private. The closet was large enough for all three of us even with Mom taking enough clothes to last 3 weeks. The drawer space was small but there were 4 shelves on the side on the closet interior that was fine to put folded things on. The bathroom was OK in size and was in 3 sections with sliding glass doors to separate the toilet and sink and shower . The fridge was large enough to hold some late night snacks and some water after your Steward empties the other stuff from it. The TV is old and small, but who watches TV on a cruise. Rather small - see my review. Good location mid-ship. Fold out sofa bed is hard, not just firm but hard. Fold out blocks balcony door. Bathroom is cramped but lots of storage space. Read entire member review. |

We had a balcony cabin that was sufficient and clean. The stewards were very friendly and remembered our names when they greeted us, but seemed overwhelmed with their amount of cabins. Our cabin wasn't turned down in the evening until close to 9:00 P.M. or after, and we are early to bed folks, so this was inconvenient. We were 2 decks above the 7th deck shuffleboard area on the starboard side, and there were very loud, unruly parties going on one night until all but 4:00 A.M., causing us not to sleep at all; and the next night until 2:00 A.M. We called the front desk numerous times and our neighbors did as well, but the noise continued. We have since learned that the equipment is to be locked up after 8:00 P.M., but it was not. It took forever for security to do anything about the guests who had consumed way too much alcohol. We also learned that there are only 2 security people on after 12MID, again this could be 2AM as some staff was not sure. Regardless, not enough for a ship that size. Our children had cabins on the 5th deck and they seemed to be minus enough towels for everyone and had to keep asking for more. They did have their cabins turned down while they went to dinner. One of our children is hearing impaired and she did have a hearing impaired alarm clock as well as lights that flashed when the door was opened and special lighting for the fire alarm as well. We were impressed with that even though the alarm clock did not keep correct time. We had asked about this equipment when we booked the trip but NCL said the Dawn did not have this capability. Upon arrival however, the cabin was hearing impaired equipped. Read entire member review. |

We loved our balcony room 9118. It was quiet and since it was mid ship, the ship's movement was minimal. Since we never use the elevators, the location of the room was great for taking the stairs all over the ship. For us it was the perfect room. Read entire member review. |

The cabin location was excellent for getting around the ship. It was close to the elevators for moving around the ship with just a short walk to the rear entrance to the Internet lounges back door. The room for the most part was quite and very little motion from the ship was felt. Storage was more than adequate. I would request this cabin if I cruise the Dawn again. Read entire member review. |

In 38 cruises, this was by far the smallest cabin I have been in. It supposedly slept three, but there was no room for two people and clothing let alone a third. The balcony was the smallest ever and filthy. There was left over food and gum all over. The glass on the balcony looked as though it had never been cleaned and I know the balcony itself wasn't. Although the cabin looked as though it was clean, it was dirty. I put my suitcase under the bed and there was food underneath it and the couch. Also, our toilet wasn't cleaned every day. And the bed -- I think my hips are still bruised from laying on what felt like concrete all week. Read entire member review. |

We felt that the cabin were a bit small, we like to have people come in for drinks and to use balcony but was to small to have more then 3 or 4 people in cabin. Read entire member review. |

Good location in front central part of ship on starboard side. Liked the balcony. The room stewards were wonderful. Friendly from the time we boarded until we left. Room was a little small, but we didn't really spend much time there. It was very quiet nights. Read entire member review. |

closet space o.k , fine for 2 people , 3 would be crowded. people smoking on other balconys was annoying to nonsmokers. above life boats mid ship location was good. Bed was hard as a rock ,missing plush cover for mattress. Bathroom had sewer smell along with the 6 cabins to the left of 9576. Read entire member review. |

We were in Cabin 9576 port side forward. The cabin was OK at its best. It is fine for 2 adults and 1 average size child. Once the couch is folded out to a bed, you cannot get out on the balcony. We had the steward to not pull the bed out all the way and it was OK after that, if you squeezed through. The sliding door was VERY noisy and the glass very dirty(salt spray). It wasn't cleaned the entire trip. The drawers on the dressed under the table would not stay in during rough weather, which was a lot of the nights. We had to wedge a piece of paper in them to keep them closed. We found the cabin noise inside very annoying(creaking, popping, etc.)What we did like a lot about the room was the bathroom. Separate Potty,Vanity & Shower w/ sliding doors. A lot better then the curtains on other cruise lines. Read entire member review. |

The balcony was very nice I love the glass wall, which allows you to sit back and watch the ocean without straining to see over the railing. The chairs were really nice, too - blue reclining chairs, so you could sunbathe from your balcony. The furniture layout was really tight, and we had to squeeze past each other many times over the cruise. But there was more than enough storage space for everything, and it never felt cluttered. The bathroom was really room, and I loved the shower best one I've ever had. Nice sliding doors and a removable spray nozzle just like home! Our cabin steward was Indra, and he was really good we gave him an extra tip for his efforts. Read entire member review. |

We were in cabin 10202, which I wouldn't recommend only because there must be a public room above it in which staff drag chairs or tables or something across the floor, which made a lot of noise. Other than that, I like the layout of the bathrooms, including the sliding doors on the shower. Read entire member review. |

We loved our cabin we had a balcony cabin on the 10th floor. The bed was very comfortable with a beautiful comforter and plenty of pillows. There was plenty of room. The closet was a good size with plenty of storage space with drawers and places for shoes. The bathroom was great very clean and it was compact but just enough space we loved the shower the tile was so pretty and the shower head was the kind you can take off and hold in your hand. We also had a table and chairs and a love seat. The room also had a safe and a small fridge, the safe was very easy to use. They put all new flat screen tv's in the staterooms. Our balcony was so nice with two chairs and a small table we loved it and used it quite a bit it was small but for two people it was more than enough. They cleaned the room everyday and put new towels in also the room was really clean. Read entire member review. |

10216 is quiet, but quite a distance from the gangway exit and pool deck if you have walking difficulties. It is close to the main public dining room if you are not into the costlier specialty restaurants.
If you need more than a single 110 volt outlet bring your own splitter to provide more outlets...otherwise bring an euro converter as there is another euro outlet behind the TV. Read entire member review. |

10222 Room was right below a room which must have been used by the crew, possibly housekeeping, as there was door banging and dragging noises 4-5 am. Also a lot of vibration which could be felt all night possibly originating from the problem engine. Read entire member review. |

We stayed in balcony room 10696 and re-booked this room for next year because we like it so much. Its small, like most rooms on a cruise are, but it was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The room was right near the aft elevators so it was very conveniently located and the views from the balcony were breathtaking. I thought the bed was great, but my husband complained it was too firm. The mini-bar was missing some items (peanuts, a water, a beer, and a wine), but we werent planning on using them anyway. However, I was worried we would be charged for the missing items, so I wrote on the order form what was missing and we were never charged. There were some minor things that were wrong, but not worth getting upset about - initially there was a slight odor of urine in the toilet area (it appeared spotless and went away later that night), the curtains had several small pinholes that let streams of light in, and a couple times our stewardess only left one set of clean towels. She was quick to bring more and was always smiling and helpful. Read entire member review. |

We were in cabin 10698. which is a handicapped accessible cabin. The cabin was spacious, and well designed. I have difficulty standing for long periods of time, and the chair for the shower was a tremendous help! The grab bars in the bathroom were also a great help. The placement of the emergency call button by the bed was poorly thought out, though. I hit it with my backside the first night, which prompts an immediate call from the Guest Services desk! They remained on the line until I went across the cabin to the reset button by the door. From that point on, I was extremely careful not to bump the button again! (Thankfully, they all have a good sense of humor, and they found it as funny as I did!)
The cabin was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable, and the balcony was a peaceful get-away. We got to know our neighbors, and the day wasn't officially started until we had wished them a good morning. We were initially concerned because of the cabin's proximity to the elevators, but we only heard them ding once or twice, and traffic was never a problem, although teens did feel a need to rearrange my holiday cling letters on our door - and actually take some of them - as the cruise went by.
We had moderate swells the last two days on the ship, and being this far aft was great! The ship's movements were significantly reduced compared to our friends' cabin at the bow on the same deck. Read entire member review. |

Not enough storage and drawers.
No conditioner in the shower. What happened to all the small bottles with the shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shower caps, cotton swabs, sowing kits?
No chocolates on the pillow in the evening anymore??
TV was about 25 years old.
Neighbours on the balcony SMOKING! Very annoying! You need to have a non-smoking section or floor!

We had a BB cabin (balcony 10th deck). The balcony was great and I don't think I could ever sail without one! Our room was fine, not huge by any means. You really need to be neat! The bed was fantastic - I wish I could have taken it home with me! Bathroom was fine - the shower was excellent. The toilet area was very tiny. There are two plug outlets in the cabin - one in the bathroom and one near the desk. Enough hangers and if they're aren't, you get always get more. If you need anything, your steward will oblige. Ours certainly did. We gave him and his assistant an extra tip (the day after we sailed), and I know it wasn't mandatory, but it helped alot. We were on a first name basis after that! The turn down service was really nice, a different towel animal every night. I must admit that the cabins can use some sprucing up - they're starting to show some aging. And the balconies could use some painting. I just wish they would have washed the outside panels on the balconies on port days -they got pretty "foggy" due to the salt water. We had a mid ship cabin and it was a good choice. Read entire member review. |
