Good location, but a little far from the stairways. Carpet a bit faded, but a new flat screen TV. Just make sure the doorway between adjoining balconies has been secured, I had to prop a chair against it to stop it from banging during the cruise to Bermuda. I did ask a crew member about it and he said they was a problem with relocking it. Read entire member review. |

Our cabin was smaller than any weve had on our past cruises. Two twin beds were made into a king-size bed and it was very comfortable. The room was attractive and clean. There were new flat screen televisions in the cabin, but it got very few channels.
We had one major complaint about this cruise and it was our cabin choice. On all previous cruises we have booked mid-ship balconies. On this cruise, we decided to try an aft balcony for the first time and it was the worst cabin decision we ever made. Our cabin, #8176, was above the Spinnaker Lounge. There was very loud music playing there every night until 3 a.m.! All the reviews I had read about this particular cabin, never mentioned how loud things would be there. The music was either a live band or a DJ. It didnt matter because it was horrible and we did not get much sleep. Unless you like to party until the wee hours, I urge you not to book an aft cabin on deck 8 of this ship.
Another thing nobody mentioned about this particular cabin is that when you have an aft balcony, you do not hear the soothing sounds of ocean waves like on a mid-ship balcony. You hear the sounds of a waterfall which is the noise we decided to call the water coming from the propellers on the back of the ship.
The shower in the bathroom was very large and had glass doors which was nice. On the other side of the shower was a sink. The toilet had its own enclosure. Warning to large people: do not torture yourself by booking a cabin on this ship. I do not exaggerate when I say you are a few inches of the wall on all sides of the toilet area.

Rear balcony centre is great. No kids running up and down the long halls, see where you have been, and big size and quite private. NOTE, cabin staff does not service balconies for whatever reason, as our glass beneath the railing was dirty from day one, and there was not any mopping of the deck surface. Quite noisy when the ship is underway as you hear the propellers churning up the water big time! Read entire member review. |

If you like to listen to the wake and have peace and tranquility, aft is for you. The BA is a little larger than most balcony cabins and the view is tremendous. For a 7-day or less trip, this cabin is great for one or two people. There is adequate storage in both the bathroom, closet and drawers/shelves. Read entire member review. |

Norwegian Dawn - Cabin 9168 - great bathroom size but cabin is a little smaller than on most ships. Great location - quiet but close enought to levels 12 and 7 (where you spend most of the time). Read entire member review. |

good location (close to amid ship on relatively low deck), good WiFi, very quiet (not a connecting room), small but adequate interior space and balcony, furniture slightly dated, liked flat-screen TV and mini-refrigerator in room, liked sliding glass door for shower Read entire member review. |

Cabin was very small/crowded. Balcony was in bad shape (paint chipped, carpet very worn, chairs not very comfortable). Need more television channels (major networks like CBS, NBC and/or ABC). Need electrical outlet in bathroom area. Read entire member review. |

We were in room 9600 Balcony Mid- ship. Loved it! The room wasn't huge, but big enough for what we needed. They had a closet to hang clothes in, but we mostly lived out of our suitcases, which was fine. The shower was our favorite, the water pressure was fantastic! Loved, Loved, Loved the balcony!! We really enjoyed the fresh air and beautiful views...even saw whales on our return to Boston!! I also purchased the "Birthday Package", for my husband, which is decorating of your room and a birthday cake..well worth the money!! My husband loved it!! The rooms were cleaned and beds made every day and night! Loved our steward! Read entire member review. |

Perfect location, very close to the library and internet cafe which are at the top of the grand atrium. This meant a short walk to grab a book or a drink at the Blue Lagoon. Quiet, mid ship, quick access to everything on board, and also quiet! Did I mention quiet? Read entire member review. |

Very roomy. Plenty of storage in bathroom, closet and in the stateroom. Excellent view being on port side we could see each port we docked in. Enjoyed having the coffee maker so we could have coffee on the balcony in the morning. Read entire member review. |

Midships BA port side was a great location, no noise, a close distance to an elevator. As with all NCL ships built in Germany, the sole A/C plug is wired incorrectly, the grounding hole should be on the bottom therefore you can't plug in a night lite. Read entire member review. |

The cabin was great. There was no connecting door to another cabin. And the noise between cabins was not noticeable. The location on deck 9 is in the middle of the corridor, halfway between middle and aft elevators - so there is not a lot of traffic. The port side balcony is nice when in port at Kings Wharf, with island facing views. The bathroom was extremely functional and efficiently arranged. The shower was awesome and well vented. The closet and storage cabinets are well organized. There is a light in the closet (though the switch is somewhat hidden) located in the top/back of the closet. There is only one 120v outlet - so we were glad that we brought a power strip with us (as recommended in the other reviews we read). We were traveling with a 21-month-old. The room attendant brought us a pack-n-play, but we preferred the fold-out sofa-bed for our toddler. The height of the fold-out is low enough that it still seemed safe for us - and when it folded out - it actually annexed to the main king-size bed.

Three women, lots of luggage, and we made it work! When the three beds are out, not much space, but as long as you work in an assembly line, ie one showers, one does hair and makeup, and the other dresses, it works well!
We brought the only chair out on the balcony, so we would have three there, to watch the beautiful sunsets! Read entire member review. |

Mostly perfect cabin. Great location, quiet-both from above and from the hallway, good balcony, excellent bathroom, good hair blower on the vanity. The only thing I would change would be the location of the witing table & chair...which was placed immediately next to/in front of the slider to the balcony. It made going out on the balcony & coming back into the cabin less than smooth. Read entire member review. |

Our room (10036) was just off the elevator. I was worried that it would be noisy, but we rarely heard people coming and going. Overall it was convenient and made it easy to find our room.
Having stayed in a balcony (and having glanced into an inside room), we won't choose less in the future. Read entire member review. |

Good location, adequate size, the shower stall roomy, but the toilet enclosure was very tight with a sliding door and its jagged edge aluminum frame and jamb. We brought our own soap and shampoo (only a dispenser was available for both). The bed was firm, but we got used to it without requesting a mattress cover. The balcony offered privacy and had a slight overhang for shade. We needed ten more hangers for the closet. There is a light inside the closet, but it takes a few seocnds to start. The flat screen TV offers limited channels, and the remote only has a channel up/down key. If you hold it down it will move quickly through the channel numbers. There is a crew entrance across the hall, so on occasion we heard some conversations as they were moving about. Read entire member review. |

Our cabin was a starboard side stateroom with a balcony (room 10216). It wasn't huge but it suited our needs. The man that took care of our cabin was a true pro. He made us some adorable towel animals and kept our room spotless. It was quiet and relaxing on the balcony in the morning with coffee was great. Read entire member review. |

Aft Balcony. Larger balcony than std BA, A little tight getting around the bed. Bathroom - shower with sliding glass door on the left, sink in center, toilet with sliding glass door on the right. Plenty of closet space for two, only 3 drawers to share. Couch and small table. Very quiet area of ship. Great if you don't mind having to walk far to get to where you need to be. Cabin was in great location , very quiet, couldn't sense any motion of ship even though on a couple days many people were effected by motion sickness.

We were 10th floor, mid ship balcony. Room was fine. Toilet area is tiny, my husband is 6 foot 4 inches. If he was any taller, he'd have a hard time fitting in the room's bathroom. Bring extra hangers if you tend to over pack. I am so glad that I did. Read entire member review. |

We were happy with our balcony room, mid ship. The shelves in the closet were a bit awkward getting clothes in and out with your other clothing hanging up. We were surrounded with teenagers across the hall and on both sides of us which made it a bit noisy at times. Other than that we were pleased with the stateroom. Read entire member review. |

This cabin floor is the best for people who want quiet. Deck ten is not between any public areas, and in two trips have found it to be virtually silent. I love the fact I am center of the ship so you can go wherever you like and have access to everything. Toilet area is a bit small for larger people. Read entire member review. |

Very roomy for a couple. Lots of shelves, closet, drawer space. Plus: no cabins across the hall (so quieter); and really easy to access the spa and everything both mid and aft. Balcony in this section has overhang from deck 11 -- making the deck 10 balconies in mid section shady - a bonus. Read entire member review. |

This was a very nice cabin. Adequate closet and shelf space. Bed comfortable and high enough to store luggage under.
The washroom is laid out very efficiently. Great shower !!!
The balcony was not the largest but is fine for 2 people to lounge out on.
This cabin is very close to the aft stairs, and this makes it really easy to run up the 2 levels to the buffet and grab a morning coffee. Read entire member review. |

The closet was small but we were able to fit everything in. Mid ship balcony was quiet. 10th floor had a great view. Balcony had one lounge chair and one regular chair and a small table. Roomy enough. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom has a half wall between the toilet and the sink making it very squishy for a big person. Shower jet was great. Read entire member review. |

We had a category BB balcony on the 10th deck. It was adequate but I felt we needed more drawer space. My daughter's OV cabin on deck 5 had an extra set of drawer end tables but that cabin could also accommodate 3pax, mine was just a double cabin. Balconies are not big. The only use we get it for is to look outside when the ship is coming into port. We don't spend time on it at all, it's too small. We were right by the elevators and stairs, nice for us to have close access. Not very noisy at all. Above us were the suites. We had a very noisy family with 3 children who jumped and ran around all day, every day. It was so bad that I had to go up there to speak with them and see if I can work it out without needing to call the front desk. The family could care less. I wish I did call the front desk to talk to them. I was frustrated by the last day. We couldn't sleep in ever because of the jumping and running very early in the morning. My cabin was mid ship starboard side. Quiet, but despite their advertisement it is good for three, I think three would be to many. Loved having a balcony, will never sail any other way again.
