Mini-Suite was nice size with a pretty big bathroom compared to other ships I have been on. Has tub/shower, nice sized vanity and a toilet with it own door. Plenty of space for clothes, refrigerator and a vanity area with mirror.  Read entire member review.

The suite was great except for the second bed. We had to ask for them to make it a double bed and make it sleep-able. The main bed was soft and very comfortable. The bathroom was great with the shower , double sinks and tub. The only thing I didn't like was the see through bathroom door. The robe was luxurious. The room could of been cleaner but the service of the butler was fantastic. He always gave us fresh fruit every day. The concierge was always coming to see us where ever we were to see if we needed anything. The service of these two men was fantastic.I feel they made this trip one of the best.  Read entire member review.

Mini suites on the Dawn are actually extended balconies. The king bed is extremely comfortable but a little short. The sofa opens to a be for two and is situated sideways so there is plenty of room to get to the balcony. Our cabin comfortable fit 4 people. Storage was adequate. The key pad for the safe had some numbers rubbed off. Balcony was nice but mettle slats in the ceiling rattled in rougher seas, AF mini suites are on deck 11. Midship cabins are under the pool area and can be noisy at night, though most noise stops by midnight. the TVs are lame old 13 inch tube models with many NCL promotional channels, national news and sports networks and a movie channel. But who really goes on a cruise to watch TV?  Read entire member review.

Cabin 11078 - Mini-suite. I was in that same mini-suite 7 years ago. It was exactly the same...which means it could use an update. It was looking a bit worn. Good size cabin, adequate storage, balcony, nice size bath, table & chairs, large couch, dressing table. Good location, close to main elevators.  Read entire member review.

Even though across from the crew space, the cabin was very quiet.  The balcony had a larger overhang with 2 lounge chairs and small table.  The closet was ample size and had a light inside behind the rod, which we found on the last day.  This room connects with another mini-suite.  Read entire member review.

NCL Dawn, No surprises by GrandmaHofmann
I commented somewhat in the review. Do know that you can hear deck chairs being shoved around at 5 a.m. every morning. Also the walls are very thin. The room is in a great location, midships, exactly one deck below the buffet, exactly above the atrium (several decks).  Read entire member review.

Our Aft Mini-Suite was a little bigger than the balcony cabins we have had on other ships, but generally the same layout and features. The bathroom was particularly nice as it had a separate sliding door for the toilet area. It had a tub-shower combo. The closet was very typical with ample selves and hanging bars. It also had fold-down clothing bars if you had a lot of shirts or blouses. The bed was comfortable and there was a sleeper love seat. There was a flat-screen TV and a two-person table and chairs. There were two small end tables next to the bed and a coffee table in front of the love seat. The Balcony was typical size and held a chair a lounge and a very small table. We had a friend in the cabin next to us so we brought one of their chairs over and put it on our balcony with no space issue. The cabin does not have very many drawers (only two) however there are ample self areas for at least two-peoples clothing. There is room under the bed for at least four large suitcases. The Aft Mini-Suite is located under the Garden Buffet, so there was a rolling noise each evening and early morning as carts delivered items. Not a real issue though.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 11128 on Deck 11. Mini-suite, mid-ship with bathtub and balcony. Close to the central elevators and the Garden buffet. Good sized room and balcony. Lots of storage space. Could be noisy sometimes as the pool deck was directly overhead so there could be sounds when they were moving furniture at night.  Read entire member review.

11552 forward port side mini suite right next to Pearl suite with a adjoining door. Would be really nice for family to be close. Lovely room full bath lots of closet space . Small fridge, tv, hair dryer, coffee pot don't recommend the coffee they have for them though. The balcony was nice but we would get the smell from the neighbors cigars and cigarettes . This room has rooms on all tree sides and the meeting rooms above. We had kids running in the halls last night but not to bothersome . Slept great nice bed.  Read entire member review.

Nothing Special by RedSoxRox
Noisy when pool parties were going on until 1:30am. Could hear every word of every song with doors closed. Could hear some noise from above at times. Convenient location to spa, gym, buffet and elevators.  Read entire member review.

11598 Cat. AF Mid-ship Balcony small but nice. Quite close to elevators which made it very convenient but yet not noisy at all. Bed comfortable. TV miniscule. Sitting area small. Bathroom nice and included a tub and separate WC. Closet space not ample at all. Pretty much a glorified balcony cabin with a great central location.  Read entire member review.

The cabin was great, just about everything we needed. My only complaint about the mini-suite was that there are only 2 drawers and they are tiny tiny tiny! The closet is big enough for everything you need but I like to put things in drawers. I managed though. The location was nice, close to the stairs but not too close to hear everything. However, we were right across from the crew stairwell and the storage closet. So we would hear that door slamming occasionally and the steward's cart was often right outside out door. This wasn't an inconvenience at all, just something to note. We were also apparently right under a huge walk-in freezer for the buffet so in the morning, we would hear stuff going on above us. Nothing too bad.  Read entire member review.

We were in 11650 (mid ship mini suite) was certainly a very nice cabin and perfect for a family of 3. With the pack and play, we moved one of the dining table chairs and the small coffee table onto the balcony (very generously sized balcony) which left plenty of room for the pack and play though it did block part of the couch. The bathroom and full size bathtub were great. We were underneath the Garden Cafe (the buffet) which was quite noisy at times. The noise was that of people and carts rolling and wasn't bothersome while we were awake, but I am a very light sleeper, and it did bother me early in the morning. Unfortunately, most of the mini-suites are underneath noisy areas which is really annoying. Mattresses were a bit hard and uncomfortable but not terrible. There was lots of storage space but only two very small drawers. Of note, the closet has a light in the back you can turn on to see your stuff better.  Read entire member review.

right below the Garden Cafe Buffet...but we are heavy sleepers so it did not matter...a lighter sleeper would have had problems with all of the noise from moving carts  Read entire member review.

cabin 11662 was in need of some repair. The balcony rail was void of any varnish. Splinters were a problem when taking photos or just resting on it. There was also considerable rust on the balcony. The balconies to our left and right were maintained much better. The single electrical outlet is located in a inconvenient place.  Read entire member review.

Great balcony, wonderful location - right outside SPA and near elevators, one floor down from Buffet - very quiet area!  Read entire member review.

Inside cabin 10207 was tiny and lacking in storage, seating and desk space. Mini suite 12532 on the other hand was wonderful Too much empty area with more storage than necessary for two people. Good location on deck 12 but tended to be noisy. Every morning very early the crew slides deck chairs above the room. Also, the corridor is a cut through to the pool a garden buffet.  Read entire member review.

These mini-suites are slightly different than the Gem and the Pearl, and not for the better. It is very difficult to open the closet door without hitting the bed and the shelves inside the closet are less convenient than the placement on other ships. The balcony is average and we had no problem with it. The bathroom is roomy enough, but for those who are not so limber, it is very difficult to get in and out of the bathtub/shower without falling. There is no grip bar to assist you, so be very careful. It is for that reason alone, that if we ever cruise with NCL again, we would choose a balcony cabin with the stall shower. Our cabin had a nasty mildew smell about it and there was nothing to be done for it.  Read entire member review.

Cabin - Jr. suite size was fine. However, there were broken fixtures in the tub and sink, cabin service was very spotty - soap / toilet paper would run out without being refilled. Toilet room smelled of urine constantly.  Read entire member review.

We were immediately confronted with a number of logistical problems aboard the Dawn. Firstly, for a suite, the cabin was ridiculously small. There was a table supposedly for 2, however one chair was tucked in right against the wall, with no room in the cabin to move the table for access. The table's second chair was out on the balcony. The cabin was very narrow, and one of the beds was right up against the closet. There were only 2 drawers in the cabin. The television was a small 15" old style and was not visible from the beds, if pointed towards the sofa. The in-cabin safe had no numbers on it as they were worn out. And no matter how many lights we turned on and with the drapes wide open, the cabin was cavernously dark. However, most problematic was the bathtub, which is built up so high that our mother was unable to access it. To add insult to injury, some of the towels put in our cabin on the first day were either stained or seriously frayed.  Read entire member review.

My cabin was fabulous. I will say that upon arrival, it seemed a little less than spotless. Only in the sense that the surfaces of fixtures were a little dusty, or had retained fingerprints. I know this sounds picky and well it is. I travel frequently, and stay in relative comfort for accommodations. Please do not misinterpret this comment as a complaint, but merely an observation. I did wipe down some surface areas upon arrival. The pursuing service and cleaning was attentive, thorough, and consistent.  Read entire member review.

Great balcony cabin on deck 11 midships with a large overhang that prevented any clothes on our balcony from getting wet in a sudden downpour. As quiet as the neighbors you have and ours were not to intrusive. We love to sleep with the balcony door open when at sea and underway. Door closed and A/C on when docked overnight. Good shower pressure. Excellent cabin stewards Claudia and Albano.  Read entire member review.
