9002
Nice by Graham Lloyd
9002 is one of the four penthouses at the bow of the ship (on the ships' webcam you can be viewed around the world as it is one of only 2 decks visible!). The room is large and well equipped including a 32" satellite TV, Lavazzo coffee machine, well stocked (but pricey) minibar and drinks cupboard with lots of cupboard and shelf space and a large double wardrobe. The bathroom was small but did the job. One word of advice ... there was 1 UK 3 pin 240V socket - the rest are mainly EUROPEAN round pin sockets (not the straight pin US ones we had taken with us!). The deck was fantastic - large but private and with 2 very comfortable loungers and a small table. The bed was huge and very comfortable ... the air con in the room was more than sufficient As it is at the bow ... it's a long walk aft - so make sure you take everything with you!  Read entire member review.

Beautiful Dawn! by KruzinKate
Penthouse Suite AEhuge closet, tons of storage, draws, very comfortable bed, big deck (teak wood), good size dining area, espresso/cappuccino machine a huge plus!, comfortable, large bathrooms, beautifully designed and appointed.  NCL did this right!  Read entire member review.

Good size cabin.  The balcony was a bit small.  2 loungers and a small table barely fit on the balcony.  A foot or 2 of depth to the balcony would have been great.

The bed was comfortable, not too hard and not too soft.  The sofa was comfortable.  The small dining table was useful to store our daily 'stuff', but we never used it for dining.

The refrigerator area had a bit of a musty/dank smell.  It was only noticible when the bar cabinet door was open.

The closet was very large.  The best part was doors on both sides so we could both get at our clothes at the same time.

The vanity/make-up area was nice.  Plenty of room and a nice big mirror.

The bathroom was a good size.  The tub sat a bit high.  It could be a challenge for someone with limited mobility to step up and into the tub/shower.  Read entire member review.

The penthouse suite was neat and had a good balcony but we hated the bright colors and it was smaller and no bathtub.  Read entire member review.

Another great NCL Cruise by rest and relaxation
Forward facing Penthouse suite, below bridge but never felt as if we lacked privacy, very large deck, great storage in room, and very comfortable bed.  Read entire member review.

Good layout, excellent balcony that can be connected to next cabin's balcony if you also have the adjoining suite at 11072. Plenty of storage. Good, mid-ship location. Only 1 outlet located in hall next to bathroom.  Read entire member review.

My first look at my cabin on deck 9 an AE. WOW is all I can say! What a nice cabin. Spacious, well laid out with a queen size bed, small sofa and chair in the corner and a table with four chairs. There was a fairly good size flat screen TV with a desk just below, a fancy coffee maker (with those small coffee capsules that you put in the machine to make a fresh cup of coffee) and a corner cupboard with ice bucket, glassware and a mini fridge right below. Then you go down a short hallway to a dressing area/vanity with a closet. In that hall is the door to the bathroom that has a small tub and shower, sink and then a separate cubicle for a toilet. The balcony had two lounger chairs and small table between. The balcony is narrow but certainly lots of room to stretch out and enjoy the world going by. There was a small bottle of champagne and water on the counter. There was a nice flower arrangement on the small table by the couch, and various elemis products in the bathroom besides the dispensers shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion, a shower cap, q-tips, a couple of soap bars, and Epson salts in a container as well. There was a nice terry cloth bathrobe in the closet, and a pillow menu on the night table if I had wanted different pillows. I was glad to see the white bedding much nicer than the photos on the NCL website that show rather loud colour schemes (the bed skirts are still the old ones and give you an idea of how bright the bed spreads must have been! Yikes!). A letter was on the table welcoming me from the Concierge giving his contact information and my Butlers phone #. I had met the Concierge briefly in the VIP lounge but he was going back and forth with different guests and had another staff person helping with the escort onto the ship. I didnt get to see him until later in the evening. There was also an invitation on the table to the Captains Cocktail party for the next night at Spinnakers Lounge. Later that evening I met my Butler and he was able to take my daily canape order - there was a selection of about six or seven items to choose from, and they were delivered everyday at about 4:30 pm - a nice perk! Because this was an aft cabin there was no noise in the hallways. I occasionally heard scraping of chairs on the balcony above me, and a couple of times smelled cigar or cigarette smoke when I was on the balcony - but nothing of significance to prevent me from enjoying the balcony.  Read entire member review.
