With room for up to three guests, these staterooms have two lower beds that convert into a queen-size bed and a pull out sofa to accommodate one more. Along with a sitting area, floor-to-ceiling glass doors and a private balcony with an amazing view.

9028 is toward the front on the starboard side of the ship. There is a tiny table next to the wall, then the queen bed then the love seat sized couch (which I guess can be a bed) There is a square table under the TV shelf and in front of the sliding door to the balcony. I think this table is meant to be available to use with the couch and the chair if dining in room or as a desk. The chair we used to hold our room service tray on the balcony sometimes. There are 2 adjustable back chairs and a tiny table on the balcony. The balcony was covered. It wasn't too windy to sit out there or anything. We enjoyed turning off the a/c in the cabin and leaving our door open when we were in the room. The cabin is not far from the front elevator/stairwell. I found it helpful being so far one end of the ship I could always turn to the front and find it. We had no hallway noise except the room stewards occasionally. There is a small fridge filled with a mini-bar. We brought a water bottle to keep refilling and kept in the fridge. There was a hair dryer and one plug (bring extension cord!) at one mirror/vanity table. The hair dryer was plenty strong for me. There is a small safe, our netbook fit in it along with our wallets etc. There is more than enough storage in the bathroom (use shelves below sink). The showers are nice size with sliding doors that keep water out of rest of bathroom. The toilet area is small with a sliding door we never used. I don't think there were any cabins across from us. Must have been storage. This deck is very convenient to everything around the ship. The bed was very hard. There were lots of pillows to choose from. It's nice having an a/c control right in our cabin. This cabin had a door to the next cabin if you were traveling with others.  Read entire member review.

The cabin was clean and neat. The bathroom was fairly large for a cruise ship- especially the shower. We had a balcony cabin but it was sometimes difficult getting to the balcony without having to crawl over the beds or furniture to get there. Speaking of the beds, they were super comfortable.  Read entire member review.

Freestylin' on the Dawn by Bitbythecruisebug
GREAT closet space and storage under the bed for suitcases. Beds were extremely comfortable. Balcony was amazing! Nice access to elevators, yet it was not noisy outside of our room. Bathroom was more spacious than RC's!  Read entire member review.

Cabin 9058: We had a standard balcony on the 9th floor. The room was smaller than our prior NCL ship, the Sun, but OK. Tight fit to go around the bed and most of the shelving was in the closet so difficult to use. However, luggage fit easily under the bed. If you prefer more room, I suggest a mini-suite. We did like the bathroom -- largest shower we've had in a balcony, also good layout. Our room steward was very pleasant and efficient, she made some great towel animals. One rec -- bring bars of soap as they only have liquid soap dispensers.  Read entire member review.

NCL Dawn... by TEE703
Very quiet location. Beautiful bathroom with sliding door in shower and sliding door separating toliet. Balcony small with chairs much too large for the space. Plenty of closet, shelf and drawer space. Extremely comfortable bed and bedding. Coffee maker in cabins...that was a bonus!!! Wish all cruise lines did that!  Read entire member review.

We had a balcony cabin 9066 on the Dawn .The room was large enough for 3 adults. The balcony was small but had two chairs and a small table. We had no problem with smoke from another balcony, and it was very private. The closet was large enough for all three of us even with Mom taking enough clothes to last 3 weeks. The drawer space was small but there were 4 shelves on the side on the closet interior that was fine to put folded things on. The bathroom was OK in size and was in 3 sections with sliding glass doors to separate the toilet and sink and shower . The fridge was large enough to hold some late night snacks and some water after your Steward empties the other stuff from it. The TV is old and small, but who watches TV on a cruise.  Read entire member review.

forward starboard, great balcony, quiet location" "Great view, no noise,
9066 could not hear neighbors talking, no banging of doors, TV'S or toilet flushing etc.
Plenty of room in the closets, draws, and shelves. I always choose this location of the ship and for the added $60.00 highly recommend this location and a balcony.
I would never go on a cruise without having a balcony room and never when the kids are out of school.:)

Amazing Honeymoon Cruise by WeehawkenCruiser
Balcony cabin was very nice overall but there was not enough closet space for 2 people and the toilet area of the bathroom was tiny. Location and value for the $ was excellent.  Read entire member review.

Cabin was very small/crowded. Balcony was in bad shape (paint chipped, carpet very worn, chairs not very comfortable). Need more television channels (major networks like CBS, NBC and/or ABC). Need electrical outlet in bathroom area.  Read entire member review.

Lucked out...they put us in a handicap acces room which was extra large. Plenty of closet space, bathroom and balcony space.  Read entire member review.

In 38 cruises, this was by far the smallest cabin I have been in. It supposedly slept three, but there was no room for two people and clothing let alone a third. The balcony was the smallest ever and filthy. There was left over food and gum all over. The glass on the balcony looked as though it had never been cleaned and I know the balcony itself wasn't. Although the cabin looked as though it was clean, it was dirty. I put my suitcase under the bed and there was food underneath it and the couch. Also, our toilet wasn't cleaned every day. And the bed -- I think my hips are still bruised from laying on what felt like concrete all week.  Read entire member review.

Fantastic Norwegian Dawn by kittycrusin08
Cabin 9216 provided ample space and was well arranged. The balcony was very private and roomy. Storage was adequate. The cabin was very quiet and we enjoyed the location.  Read entire member review.

We felt that the cabin were a bit small, we like to have people come in for drinks and to use balcony but was to small to have more then 3 or 4 people in cabin.  Read entire member review.

9566 was poorly laid out and if kept cleaner by the Porter would have been great. Great location.  Read entire member review.

Cabin: We had a balcony cabin on deck 9 forward port side (#9566). The bed was comfortable and had many pillows. The bathroom was functional. The shower was big enough and had a door instead of a curtain which kept the floor dry. The toilet was sectioned off in an area that could be made more private by closing the sliding frosted door. It was snug with the door closed but not impossible. One opportunity for improvement was the sofa sleeper. It looked a little worn out and should be replaced. The TV was a nice flat screen (last year it was an old school picture tube TV). We did not have a lounger on our balcony. It was 2 chairs and a table. Other balconies had 1 lounger and a chair (along with a table.) I imagine you can have a lounger if you ask the room steward. It was not a problem for us. The air conditioning worked great. Closet/drawer space was not an issue as there were only two of us and we pack lightly. As I mentioned earlier, we brought a cooler bag loaded with a case of Diet Coke and Coke Zero each. Every evening I left the room steward (Bago) a note requesting he fill it with ice every day (along with a couple of bucks for his extra effort). He exceeded our expectations throughout the cruise.  Read entire member review.

I found the cabin to be fine. I would have liked to have had some other things such as a pad of paper and a pen on the desk. Lotion and mouth wash in the bathroom. I found the closet to be ample and my husband and I over packed for the 7 days. the balcony was good but wished we couldhave opened the door between as we were traveling with a relative. Another outlet would have greeat as well  Read entire member review.

Three women, lots of luggage, and we made it work! When the three beds are out, not much space, but as long as you work in an assembly line, ie one showers, one does hair and makeup, and the other dresses, it works well! We brought the only chair out on the balcony, so we would have three there, to watch the beautiful sunsets!  Read entire member review.

Balcony room for 3 is "cozy" but adequate. Wouldn't want to have 3 in there though. Nice swival flatscreen tv. Suitcases easily fit under bed. Plenty room for our clothes and a clothesline in shower for hanging wet stuff. Like the privacy doors between toilet, washbasin, and shower. Easy access to stairs/ elevators. Quiet during our cruise. With waves occasionally up to 7' could feel gentle slapping of water against stern of ship at times which resulted in very minor movement - less than provided by those quarters in a bed! Balcony shows some wear (rust streaks). Has two chairs, one which reclines some.  Read entire member review.

Disappointed by tamster123
Drawers slid open alot. Slept with balcony door open one night at sea and woke to find black grainy soot on bed that stayed with us for the duration of cruise. Tendering was under our cabin, so room smelled of exhaust a couple of times at port. Dirty room.  Read entire member review.
