Aft-Facing Balcony Cabins 20 Reviews
With room for up to three guests, these staterooms have two lower beds that convert into a queen-size bed and a pull out sofa to accommodate one more. Along with a sitting area, floor-to-ceiling glass doors and a private balcony with an amazing aft-facing view.

Balcony Warning by D&beach&J
Our cabin was smaller than any we've had on our past cruises. Two twin beds were made into a king-size bed and it was very comfortable. The room was attractive and clean. There were new flat screen televisions in the cabin, but it got very few channels. We had one major complaint about this cruise and it was our cabin choice. On all previous cruises we have booked mid-ship balconies. On this cruise, we decided to try an aft balcony for the first time and it was the worst cabin decision we ever made. Our cabin, #8176, was above the Spinnaker Lounge. There was very loud music playing there every night until 3 a.m.! All the reviews I had read about this particular cabin, never mentioned how loud things would be there. The music was either a live band or a DJ. It didn't matter because it was horrible and we did not get much sleep. Unless you like to party until the wee hours, I urge you not to book an aft cabin on deck 8 of this ship. Another thing nobody mentioned about this particular cabin is that when you have an aft balcony, you do not hear the soothing sounds of ocean waves like on a mid-ship balcony. You hear the sounds of a waterfall which is the noise we decided to call the water coming from the propellers on the back of the ship. The shower in the bathroom was very large and had glass doors which was nice. On the other side of the shower was a sink. The toilet had its own enclosure. Warning to large people: do not torture yourself by booking a cabin on this ship. I do not exaggerate when I say you are a few inches of the wall on all sides of the toilet area.  Read entire member review.

Get it in the end !!! by aviatorstarboy
Rear balcony centre is great. No kids running up and down the long halls, see where you have been, and big size and quite private. NOTE, cabin staff does not service balconies for whatever reason, as our glass beneath the railing was dirty from day one, and there was not any mopping of the deck surface. Quite noisy when the ship is underway as you hear the propellers churning up the water big time!  Read entire member review.

Great room, lots of space, wish we would've gotten some more towel animals tho, only 2. And I would ask for the cabin to be made up/turned down because we needed new sheets, and they never got changed. Every night. Also room service took FOREVER and getting ahold of them was a challenge.  Read entire member review.

If you like to listen to the wake and have peace and tranquility, aft is for you. The BA is a little larger than most balcony cabins and the view is tremendous. For a 7-day or less trip, this cabin is great for one or two people. There is adequate storage in both the bathroom, closet and drawers/shelves.  Read entire member review.

Very private balcony, but too noisy to sleep at night. Right above the Lounge so very hard to sleep till after 3AM.  Read entire member review.

We Luv Bermuda! by *Luv2Cruz*
A bit smaller then expected but excellent in every other category! The aft views were amazing!  Read entire member review.

As for the room it's self - it's exactly the same size (both room and balcony) to any other standard balcony on the ship. This is not a suite size room. I will also say that on the last day, we were one of the last to leave our room (9am was the deadline), and the doors to the other aft-facing rooms were open. We peeked in and I can tell you that they were not much bigger than ours - these are not penthouse rooms by any stretch! Personally, we were very happy with our choice. The bathroom, while tiny per usual, we found to be nice in that the toilet had its own dividing door, and the shower was a walk-in with a sliding door. There was an adequate amount of storage with a shelf below the sink and a built in waste basket. The ventilation was good as well. The bedroom consisted of a queen bed, sofa and small square table. There was a built-in desk and shelf area, and a second built-in mirrored "make-up" area. The closet and draw space was plenty for us, and of course your bags get stored under the bed. The balcony consisted of to chairs with reclining backs (not chaise loungers) and a small 1ft square table (just large enough to hold a plate).  Read entire member review.

10230 aft balcony = biggest balcony on the ship for any balcony cabin. Quiet, out of the way and if you are out enjoying your balcony at the right times you can get a whiff of the hard working chefs doing their baking magic (yes those pecan sticky buns and other yummy breads and rolls)

Great Balcony, very quiet location. Felt like we didn't receive very good room steward service because we were the "low rent" cabin among all the romance suites.  Read entire member review.

NCL Dawn to Bermuda by iliv2cruz
Room too small for a balcony room. Needed more draw space. Quiet location. Love the aft balconies.  Read entire member review.

Aft Balcony. Larger balcony than std BA, A little tight getting around the bed. Bathroom - shower with sliding glass door on the left, sink in center, toilet with sliding glass door on the right. Plenty of closet space for two, only 3 drawers to share. Couch and small table. Very quiet area of ship. Great if you don't mind having to walk far to get to where you need to be.  Read entire member review.

Terrific Cruise by redhd10
The aft facing balcony was great and we loved the size of the balcony. The room is fine for two people and the bath was adequate. Since you are at the Stern, you get more motion and I wouldn't recommend this if you have any motion problems. We were concerned about additional noise--engine and from the nightclub below us, but there was no problem--we slept like babies.  Read entire member review.

Good Times on the Dawn! by bostongal965
Pluses - Good sized balcony, loved overlooking the wake. Bakery aromas were mouth-watering. Bathroom was decent-sized and well laid out. Beds were amazing! Minuses - loud music from the lounge below was very audible.  Read entire member review.
