Cabin Rating

We were on deck 8, Cabin 1353. It's an interior cabin, not too far from the stairway and elevators at the back of the ship.

Highly practical, as all of the dining rooms and windjammer are at the back of the ship, along with the photo gallery, ice rink entrance, elevators that go to the Viking Lounge/Cosmopolitan Club, and pool.

The cabin was a typical interior cabin- we love them, simply because if we want to turn off the lights and take a nap at 2pm, we can, and it's pitch black. Bathroom is small, yet efficient. The shower doesn't soak the floor and sink area, as the shower has doors that close, unlike some older ships. The closet held all of our clothes just fine, but we tend to pack light. If you like to bring loads of clothes, then bring some hangers too.. although I bet you could just ask your stateroom attendant for more. :)

Very sound proof-we didn't hear anything from the hallways or neighbors- not even the announcements from the Captain that I was trying to hear- I had to open the door to listen. The only thing we heard, with the TV off in the room, was a ringing phone from somewhere, maybe our attendant's station?

Great ship, great cruise! by Kim & Billy in MO
Cabin 7119 forward was comfortable but small as expected. We are okay with inside cabins as we are there only for sleeping and it's nice to take an afternoon nap in complete darkness.  Read entire member review.
A Great Cruise! by Salty45
Our inside category N cabin was very quiet, very dark and just what we expected. Since we spend so little time in the cabin except to sleep it was perfect for us.  Read entire member review.
Great Holiday Cruise by Milwaukee Girl
7347 was a great cabin. We really could not hear anything that our neighbors were doing. Also, it was in the aft area of the ship, so there were no walk-throughs (the only people passing our cabin were those with cabins further aft). The location was great -- near the stairs and the library (helped us to remember where our cabin was).  Read entire member review.

7379 inside - nice but can vibrate a bit when ship moving off or slowing down into port, can wake you up!! As its at the end of corridor you don't get anyone walking past !

Really small room, but to be fair we booked the cheapest one so expected that.  Read entire member review.
Worthwhile Ship by Anaxagoras408

Small cabin, windowless, but as experienced cruisers we left the balcony staterooms to the new cruisers in our group!  Comfortable beds and airconditioning system that works well.

We had an inside stateroom. It was port side aft-far from the elevators, which was the only bad thing about the room. Since we were first time cruisers we didn't know what to expect other than pictures or what people have told us (that they are the size of closets!) Honestly we were impressed with the room. Much bigger than expected and our stewards kept the room cleaned everyday.

Navigator review by Mrsfshesgawjus

We stayed in cabin 8113 at the front of the ship. Interior stateroom. In good condition. Very quiet. Not too far from lifts. At other side of ship though from windjammer and dining rooms,

Terrific Cruise by cavydad

Compact but large enough not to feel claustrophobic. We always have the beds separated to have space to get into bed.

Best vacation EVER! by Soulpride
Inside cabin, very spacious, well designed, quiet.  Read entire member review.
inside smallest cabin and the value is opujtstanding since we spend all our time on the ship doing activities and paying far less than everyone else doing the same activities. Smallish but clean and two singles combine to a queen with only enough room for two people.  Read entire member review.
