We had cabin 1058 on Deck 10 and while we found that the beds we a little too close together (there was little room to walk through) it is still a room that we would consider booking again. Get the balcony and get a higher deck. We left our cabin door open at night and it felt and sounded like we were sleeping in an oceanfront condo with the waves crashing. The bed was SO comfortable that it was almost unbelievable. We were on deck ten which was great - only something like 50 cabins on the deck and it's opposite the pool deck. At first I was worried about noise but we never really heard a thing, and it was nice being so close to the pool deck for running back and forth to the room.  Read entire member review.

Great Location. Loved balcony and being just few steps from being out on the deck overlooking pools on Lido deck. Had king size bed and couch that made into bed and pull down bed from ceiling - sons both age 14 slept on these. The cabin itself was well designed and spacious. The balcony was wonderful, other than I forgot about my vertigo and had to sit on the edge of the bed. The bed was firm and very comfortable. The only reason I gave the cabin a rating of "1" is there was no chair with a back on it in the cabin. The spare bed, made up like a couch, was to wide and the back sloped so you could not sit upright. I was forced to bring the balcony chair into the room to sit.  Read entire member review.

Had 8301, 8305 and 8309. All were great location and with the exception of the family across the hall allowing their 18 year olds to drink to excess in Jamaica and Grand Cayman (so they made an ass of themselves by fighting, arguing and throwing up all over the place), the rooms were great. We were in Room 8412 on the Carnival Conquest. We did not book early enough to pick our room, so we were stuck with what they assigned us. We had been told to be careful getting a room under a restaurant or pool area. Well...there we were....directly under the buffet restaurant and adult-only pool. We had NO PROBLEMS whatsoever! Occasionally we'd hear a food cart rolling across the floor (our ceiling), but I slept like a baby and so did my husband. The hallway was very quiet too. The balcony was the best purchase decision we ever made! We will never cruise without a balcony room! Hairdryer IS provided, but is kind of hidden in a drawer in front of the vanity in the room. Our room was just off the Lido Deck with a Balcony.  We loved the location!  It was convienient for anywhere you wanted to go on the boat, especially at night when you got a little hungry!  The room had 3 closets with shelving, 4 drawers, a couple of cabinets, and a mini bar.  I recommend having them unlock your mini bar even if you think you won't use it.  We used it to keep our wine and drinks cold.
