We were on the aft of the ship and would have preferred to be forward. Aft has most of the motion.

First Cruise by Normsie

Very nice cabin. close to the elevators/stairs. Comfortable bed. Gorgeous views from the balcony. Definitely worth the extra cost. Lots of closet space with plenty of drawers and shelves. Bathroom small but well arranged. Shower also small, but adequate.

Needs a overhaul. Lamps on bed table had surface worn off. Cabin moaned and groan when seas were rough. One drawer must have had a run in with some crazy glue as there was residue on the bottom of it. Wonderful cabin steward.  Read entire member review.

Cabin A410 - loved being one floor down from the Lido deck - very convenient. Location of cabin was midship so it was easy to go to either end and we were about 3 cabins down from where the elevator waiting area was so it was very quiet. Minimal ship motion for people like me who are a little prone to seasickness. I noticed a big difference from our cabin to our families in B302, much more motion there.

So disappointed! by eliza72
well laid-out, good dressing and clothes space, good balcony, location by central elevator was convenient and not too noisy.  Read entire member review.

Comfy Queen Bed, good sized room, plenty of amenities. Large balcony with semi-privacy (many balconies on Star Princess and her sister ships are viewable from the balcony above). Room included shampoo and conditioner dispenser in shower, excellent closet and storage space, hair dryer, refrigerator (though the shelves to hold items on the door was missing, limiting usable cold storage space). The TV worked adequately, and the daily previews of activities and inter-ship programming was very helpful. The fit and finish of the cabin was good, though a little unpolished. Loved the coziness, and access to the entire ship via the central elevators and stairs was outstanding. Perfect balance of cost and great amenities.

We really liked our balcony. The cabin itself was average. But I did notice Princess deck layout schematic is goofed up, so is my Berlitz guide to cruising with respect to the "Star". But then, my guide is 2007. Fortunately for us, the mistakes worked in our favor, we were on the Caribe deck in a balcony cabin. Except, our balcony was twice the size of those on any other deck as far as regular cabin or mini suite cabins go. The balconies on the Caribe were twice as large as those on the Dolphin deck, and the Dolphin deck has all the mini suites. The mini suites were just like ours except they cut the balcony in half and extended the room onto the cut our portion. Most full suites were all on our deck, and all they simply involved was two regular cabins with balcony's, like ours, with the wall removed. Berlitz says you can see down onto the Caribe full suite balconies from above. Not true, half the area of those balconies have a roof.  Read entire member review.

Nothing to add as the cabin (category BA) was a typical balcony cabin BUT those on the Caribe deck have the largest balcony area on the ship (excl. suites). As such it has four chairs, two foot stools and a round table, making entertaining easier than doing so on the typical shallow balcony.  Read entire member review.

We were in an accessible cabin since my mother uses a wheelchair. The wide door and extra space really made a difference from the usual cabin we book. The extra wide and deep balcony was fantastic. Very quiet even though we open onto the elevator area.  Read entire member review.

C304 was an accessible cabin, very large, large balcony, huge shower area, next to the elevator but we heard little or no noise. Good closet space and bathroom organization.  Read entire member review.

C333 - Excellent location, quiet, great balcony. Needs more than one comfortable chair in cabin.  Read entire member review.

Great Balcony. Good use of drawer space. Location was front midship with short walk to elevators  Read entire member review.

C523 - great location about 10 cabins down from the center hallway. Noise was never even the beginning of an issue. The balcony was great, as I said, I think the Caribe deck balconies were bigger than either 9 or 11. The bathroom was very small but efficient. The closet was sufficient. I wish they had a smidge more drawer space. The mattress was HORRENDOUS. The safe worked as it should. I don't worry about stuff getting stolen, but I do worry about losing stuff, so the safe is a good place to store small stuff like jewelry.  Read entire member review.

L205 was the second cabin on Lido deck for passengers. We could see the bridge very clearly from our room. It was very close to the sanctuary/gym. It was very quite through out our cruise and our balcony was just the right size with a great view  Read entire member review.

Standard Princess balcony. Very convenient to Lido activities and the spa/adult pool. Be sure to book a Lido cabin forward of the lifts/stairs or there will be a ton of foot traffic outside your door.  Read entire member review.
L206
L206, Lido deck balcony second from the very front end of the hallway. Same deck as the pook areas and Horizon court so very easy access. Minimal traffic in the hall. Lots of stomping overhead and I don't know why. No cabins overhead. Secluded with the whole ocean outside your balcony. Yes, we did the buff thang! Ample space with the beds converted to queen. Good water pressure. Lots of hot water. Potable water until the last day when it had a decidedly chlorine aftertaste. Drawback - being at the end of the steward's list of things to do can get. He actually told us he didn't replace out pool towels because he ran out before he got to our room. What? We'd love this room again!  Read entire member review.

Very quiet. Easy access to the Horizon Court. Bed and bath are on the right as you walk in.  Read entire member review.

We were in an BA category balcony cabin on Caribe deck, mid ship. Immense balcony compared to other decks (as in all Grand Class Princess ships). Everything was in fine shape in cabin except the flat panel TV (it must be fairly new) which had very poor reception on some channels. We had to request a egg crate mattress after the first night. After that, we slept like babies. Very good room steward.  Read entire member review.

The 8.8 cruise from hell! by luvinretirement
C609 has a great big balcony - lots of room for 6 people to relax. The room is the standard size but the balcony more than makes up for it.  Read entire member review.

Amazing Alaska by Sky&Health

Balcony Cabin A251. Forward on ship. Good size. Closet really big. Nice selection of wooden hangers. Bathroom standard. Good water pressure in shower and fancy shower head. No couch but ok chair and desk chair to use while looking out the window at passing scenery. Two reclining deck chairs on balcony.
