We loved our room. Hegzon and Enrico were our stateroom attendants and they were AMAZING. They deserve huge raises! The bed was luxurious and I LOVED how there were six amazing down pillows on the bed. Hegzon and Enrico cleaned our room at least twice a day and it was always spotless when they finished.

One of my favorite cruises by Lauren12201995

We usually get the balcony room but I really did not mind having an interior this time. The rates are too good for them and the layout is nice and efficient. Ample storage for everything we packed.

Cute and cozy :) We had an inside cabin on the lower deck, but we weren't in our room much, so it was sufficient for our needs. All that mattered to me was that it was kept tidy, and our room steward made sure of that. Plus, I liked being able to get in and out of the ship easily from here.  Read entire member review.
Nice roomy for a cabin with an ocean view. Was noisy we had the engine problem noise beneath us (could have been isolated to this trips engines problems)The worst part was the the scrapping of chairs and high heels above us possibly the casino area but not positive.  Read entire member review.
Things unexpected! by gaiamother
We had to book last minute and the only thing left for four was an outside stateroom on deck 1 (Riviera). For what it was, it had plenty of space, a large shower, storage, etc. A little smokey in the hallway the entire cruise sue to smoking being allowed in the cabins. The noise of the ship doesn't bother me, but for those who are sensitive to this, you did hear a bit of ship noise at night. Great Forward/Mid location!  Read entire member review.

Cabin 1189. Clean, comfortable, plenty of drawer and closet space. The only drawback was that it was directly under the Penny slots in the casino. During the night you could hear the stools being drug across the floor.

Seemed larger than cabins on some other ships and was clean and comfortable. Near elevators and we did have lots of children running down the halls, but this ended by midnight. Some type of clanging noise that seemed to be coming from outside and above our cabin started the last 2 days, but we were able to block it out with white noise.

Great trip on a nice ship by CruiseKittyFL

Our cabin was great! room 4108 is a "obstructed view" inside which is really an outside cabin with french doors which open to a railing and a big, fat, lifeboat. These rooms have a different layout than a standard interior room and have a small sofa and an extra storage cabinet. They sell these as interiors but feel so much bigger with the different layout and doors to daylight. There are blackout curtains on the doors so if you want darkness, you can have it. Grab one if you can - you will love it!

Good Time on the Legend by submarinecruiser
Great set up for a family of 4. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids aged 12 and 11.  Read entire member review.
Obstructed ocean view at an interior price. The interior with french doors is the hidden gem on the Legend. Trick for getting a view of the ocean is to look at the deck plan and pick a cabin that has a larger space between the life boats. Great location to mid-ship elevators and atrium.  Read entire member review.
Cabin 4142 is a window room, with the view obstructed by a lifeboat. This room is the same as balcony rooms, but without the balcony. It does include a sofa, with storage drawers underneath. This is a very nice sized room for the price!  Read entire member review.

Great room! The balcony view was exceptional and the Starboard side allowed us some pretty spectacular views when coming in and leaving ports. Of course, you never know which way the ship is facing when we come into the ports, but we were thankful that our starboard cabin more times than not did not face a working port and faced, instead, some beautiful vistas. The only caveat on this room would be the sound from the atrium bar below. If you are an early sleeper, the noise may be too much albeit muffled. The bar shut down at 12:00 AM so it wasn't a real problem for us. The location - close to the elevator/stairs made it easy access to all things especially the Truffle Dining Room! Short walk downstairs and through the ship made for a nice stroll to the shows after dinner. Elevator access made it easy to ride up to the Lido and take part in the pool action as well as eating (of course!) on the Lido deck.

Our cabin was great. There was plenty of space for all of our belongings. The bed were very comfortable...even the one that came down from the ceiling. Loved the was very relaxing to sit on the balcany and enjoy the sea air.  Read entire member review.

We selected cabin 4194 on the main deck. It is a room with an obstructed view directly behind the lifeboats. Our room was located between the boats , so the view was not as bad as others may have had. We could see the water and beautiful sunshine everyday. Great room for the money. Our cabin steward Richard was excellent and took care of our needs during the sail. No complaints at all....

we were in 4197 very quiet, slept creat. had an obstructed view but not too bad. we have been on higher levels with balconies and it was always a lot louder up there.

Trip of a life time by Kiwi kiwi

Cabin 4229, great position, loved all the storage areas. Bigger then we thought it would be. Lovely to have the balcony. Very quiet. Bathroom small but had everything we needed.

Our balcony cabin was 'obstructed view' with lifeboats covering the bottom half of the balcony view so you could not look down, however, you could look straight out just fine. Plenty of closet space (needed more hangers), drawers, comfortable bed, a variety of tv statins if you like that, ice bucket always full and no noise from adjacent cabins. Occasional noise from the hall.  Read entire member review.

Great for the money. Balcany big enough for two, but not more. Located right near the atrium elevators but we never heard a peep.  Read entire member review.

Oceanview stateroom with private balcony and king bed. Spacious, comfortable accommodations. Ample drawer and closet space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone and color television.

Great location around midship near the the glass elevators. It was a very quiet area and we enjoyed the balcony.  Read entire member review.
Large room, lots of storage, loved the balcony, enough light always, great sized bathroom.  Read entire member review.
Our adjoining rooms (5253 & 5257) were in a great location. The rooms were just around the corner from the laundrette (which was extremely handy) and on the same floor as Camp Carnival (my children practically lived there while at sea, so extremely handy). Plus we were only a short walk to the stairs and elevators. We had an excellent view from our balconies (which we had opened up to one large balcony). There was more than enough space for all of our belongings. Our cabin steward, Victor, did a great job keeping our rooms very neat and clean. I would definitely recommend these rooms, especially if you are traveling with kids that you would like to keep a close eye on, but would like a separate space.  Read entire member review.
Excellent Cruise! by N2FamilyCruising

This is the last balcony room at the rear side of the ship (room next to it is a suite). Loved that it accomodated 4 of us very easily. The 2 teens sleep on the twins, one of which pulls down from the ceiling. We asked the steward to keep it down the entire cruise so everyone had a place to "hang out" during the down time. Very quiet at the back of the ship. We are all in good shape so walking each day was not an issue. We only used the elevators twice during the entire cruise. Only negative was the smoker on her balcony below us each day - will be happy when the entire ship is smoke free!

My category is not listed but the cabin was wonderful. Small as usual but very nice and clean. The only problem was the other guests allowing their balcony doors to slam shut.

Had a great time by MarcyReally

Great location, the extended balcony was super. We went scuba diving in several ports and it provided a place for our gear to dry to a degree that we could bring it in and completely dry out of the humidity. Although I couldn't see around the wall of extended balconeys toward the front of the ship it was okay because I got a great deal on the cabin!

This cabin has an adjoining door to the cabin next door. The door is locked but noise transfers easily between the room where the adjoining door is. There were 3 ladies in the cabin next to us and they talked non stop. Because the adjoining door is thin I can tell you every word that was said. The noise kept us up and they were not trying to be noisy it is just the adjoining door is not as good as having a solid wall. On the other side of us was a room with two adults and two children. We never heard a sound from there room because the wall was solid. I would avoid the adjoining doors if possible unless you are parents cruising with children in the room next to you and you want to keep a close eye on them.

Nice inside rooms lots of closet space. Very quiet and easy to get to any location from these rooms.  Read entire member review.

The cabin was outstanding! As you walk in there is lighted closet to the left, a mini-bar next to it. To the right is a large full length mirror. Straight ahead is a sofa, table and a couple chairs then to the balcony, which is nice and large with two lounge chairs, two tables and two regular chairs. There is a king size bed too. There are about 3 closets total and a bunch of drawers - you will have ample space. The bathroom is huge for a cruise ship. A jetted-tub, bidet, toilet, two sinks, etc. We LOVED this room/cabin!

Good Times by LeanneS
Great location; halfway between two elevator locations  Read entire member review.
Cabin 6227 had a balcony and great middle of the ship location. We were near the elevators for easy access. We did hear some hallway noise and some music from the lounge in the atrium below. The loudest disturbances come from people slamming there cabin and balcony doors and moving chairs on the balconies above. Those can't be avoided. Overall, a good location.  Read entire member review.
This cabin was just fine. Super close to the elevators but zero noise from them. Full, unobstructed view. Not very noisy on the balcony because you're not near any public gathering spot. Ample closet space and comfortably sized bathroom.  Read entire member review.
Family? Choose the balcony with the bed that comes off the ceiling as a bunk bed, you wont be crowded or disappointed. Save $$$.  Read entire member review.
We had selected room 6234 due to it being handicapped accessible. I had looked on line while dealing with Carnival and booking this room, and was especially interested in the 'bowling alley' balcony that the ship plan showed. It turns out that the balcony is approximately thirty-three feet long by seven feet wide. On the balcony were three normal deck chairs, one chaise and two small tables, with plenty of room for more seating. Still, we had this great balcony, but, it was not wheelchair accessible. There was a six inch lip that made it impossible to use if you could not walk over the lip. The cabin was located Port side, aft, right after the stern elevator bank on deck six, the Empress Deck. It has a large bathroom featuring a wheelchair accessible shower with fold down seat, fixed shower head and, selectable tap or hand held shower head. There was an issue with the toilet, though. While it flushed, at least in our room regularly, it seemed to maintain a stench throughout our journey. The room features more than adequate storage. It has four drawers in dresser, and one shelf, below the safe. It also has well as self in the cabinet below the television set. Note that the television is not a flat screen, but is an older CRT tube set. Closet has limited space for hanging clothes, but two large shelves for folded clothes as well as storage for shoes, etc at the bottom. It does have a second hanging bar, but, it is located so close to the top self on the right hand side as to be useless. Seating in the room consists of two small arm chairs and a small table, as well as a stool for the vanity. The vanity itself is of good size and has an adequate mirror and lighting. Also, the room had plenty of room to bring in a mobility cart and park it without hindering your ability to walk around in the room. The room also featured a King size bed (two twins pushed together, per our request) with two small end tables. End table had a lamp. There was plenty of lighting, but limited electrical outlets for 120 watt voltage. One outlet located at the vanity, for hair curlers, etc, and one in the bathroom for razors. There was a hair dryer in the vanity, in the top drawer on right. For those traveling with a mobility cart, these outlets are an issue. They were located such that you could not park the cart and use them with out blocking you traffic flow. So, we had to take out the battery each night and put it on the vanity to allow it to charge. As to the safe, the directions are not real clear. I could not get it to work, even following their printed directions. It turns out that you have to put in the card you choose to use, with the magnetic stripe facing upwards, not downwards. Our room stewards were Rodriguez Kelvan from Dominican Republic and Frederico from the Philippines. They did their best to meet our every need, and to entertain use with the towel creatures they made every night. But, there was one issue that they could not fix. You could see the stains in the carpets, stains, obviously from age. But, it became apparent that the room also contained large amounts of mold. It affected my wife's breathing, and the only way we could attempt to help her was to use the door stop to prop open the balcony door during the day, to let the room air out. Note that the speaker system for announcements does not work in staterooms. The speaker is under the vanity and, while the television does go to mute when they make an announcement, you cannot hear it, as the speaker does not come on in this room. As it turns out, that they shut off the Televisions for the announcement, but, do not pipe the announcements into the rooms, except emergency announcements, because the majority of the guests are not in their rooms, according the Guest Services. So, unless you are out and about, the Lord only knows what you are missing.  Read entire member review.
Our room was nice. The balcony was right next to a part of the ship that extened beyond our cabin, so you could not see anything forward of our balacony.  Read entire member review.

We had room 6264, on the back of the boat right above the flag. The room itself is a standard room which was converted into a king bed and the couch was a bed for my son. The balcony was nice, and did have more room than a regular balcony, except with the angle of the back of the boat means anytime you leaned forward you had an audience. Take a look up and all of your neighbors say “HI!”. For someone wanting a private-ish balcony, this was a bit disappointing. Also, there is absolutely NO breeze on the back of the boat. We knew this going in, but missed it deeply. Did have nice views going out of port, but that was pretty much only Roatan and Grand Cayman.

This room has the ability to be joined to the room next door, not a positive thing if the inhabitants next door are loud young men. All sounds travel right through the joining door.

Family Get Together by NeeceyGirl
Quiet location except when we had that bad wind storm from the hurricane. Loose white paint on our balcony chairs that would get all over our clothes from when the balconies were hosed down- paint would come off the walls. Would like an alarm clock in the room so we knew what time it was. Would like a chair with a back on it in the room for support(maybe instead of the sofa).  Read entire member review.

The old adage holds true. choose mid-ship --- less rolling, less traffic, better service. I like my balcony. Remember that one chair reclines, and there's a light switch for the balcony. No shower caps. Bring one.  Read entire member review.

Loved our room and room steward. In perfect access to the elevators, and the 7th floor gave us perfect cushion between the lido deck but also close enough for quick access to the lido deck and promenade.

Pleanty of closet space and storage. The safe was perfect and having a couch in the room made a big difference. It was very spacious and it was perfect because we really didn't spend much time other than sleeping in the cabin and we spent pleanty of time out on our beautiful balcony.  Read entire member review.

Lots of closet space, comfortable bed, great balcony but the chairs were not very comfortable. The sofa was nice in the room. It was quiet in our room.  Read entire member review.
We had an inside cabin near the front of the ship. Our room temperature fluctuated widely (6-10 degrees) with no adjustments from us beyond the initial 'dial it up'. So time spent in our room was on the chilly side for our taste. The room was large in comparison to most of our other cruising experiences. Plenty of storage and space to move around. We did request and receive a foam mattress to help compensate for some of the firmness of the bed. We had no problems with noise, but we did notice a crew laundry or storage close by. Crew members were frequently working from this space, but were always friendly and courteous in allowing us space to get by them and their cart.  Read entire member review.
Cabin was good, although because it was under the main activity deck, you could hear a lot going on in the middle of the night (crew cleaning or whatever), however it wasn't terrible. Being right in the middle of the ship toward the top, the motion was not bad at all.  Read entire member review.

Great storage, very nice bedding, great to be able to expand the expanded balcony to the one next door, shared by my sister and her husband  Read entire member review.
Cabin was roomy and clean. Television stopped working after the 2nd day, and we wrote a message to our steward, who threw the note away and did nothing. So we called Guest Services, and they had someone who came and replaced it that night. They didn't bother to dust off the 2" coating of dust on the replacement TV however. Thankfully, the maid service did that the next day. Balcony was way larger than I expected w/2 chairs and side table. Balcony was even cleaned mid-way through the trip. Plenty of clothes storage area in the closet and drawers for 2 people. Humidity was so high unfortunately that bathing suits never dried all the way. Shower pressure & temperature were consistently great.  Read entire member review.
Bed was very comfortable, cabin super clean, shower hot and forceful, individual cabin temp control was GREAT idea. Lots of closet and drawer space. AAA+++ experience for us.  Read entire member review.
Good sized balcony cabin for 2 people. Not sure if they have upper berth balcony cabins (ours didn't) but it would be tight on moving around and storage space for more than 2 people. We were right by the elevators but the hallway was always very quiet. Good sized balcony......for 2 only.  Read entire member review.
We had an indoor cabin. For sleeping it was FANTASTIC. Not a bit of light was let in. For waking up it was pretty tough because there was no daylight to wake you. Get a wakeup call and room service in the morning. The stateroom steward kept our room clean about 3 times a day it seemed. Every time we left the cabin it would be cleaned when we came back. Next time I'll try a balcony suite probably, but really, you don't spend much time in the cabin anyway except to sleep and get ready.  Read entire member review.

Treat yourself to this quiet and spacious, two-room suite on deck seven that features a HUGE aft wrap-around balcony, and a sleeper sofa in the living area that can be closed off from the bedroom and king sized bed, You will appreciate the bath tub, two flat screen TVs, private dressing and vanity area, and a roomy walk-in closet.

Cabin: We selected an interior room on Deck 7. This is the best deck b/c you aren't far from the pools and action on the Lido deck, but you have one floor above you to serve as a buffer for all the noise up there. Our room was more spacious than we expected--plenty of room for your clothes, shoes, etc. We didn't mind not having a window b/c our room was pitch black when we slept, which is great if you want to sleep in a little. Our room steward, Antonio, was fabulous. So kind and thorough--we didn't want for anything. I loved the towel animals every night.  Read entire member review.

Holiday Cruise a Holiday by Cynthia Louise
Extended balcony offered more room but limited view as it was set back or inset. Would have appreciated the extended balcony view being as good if not better than the standard balcony since you are paying more for this particular feature. They also were located directly over the lifeboats so you could not see the water as well.  Read entire member review.
