Had cabin 4241 which was at the aft of the ship on the main deck. The cabin itself was very quiet and comfortable with a nice size balcony. It was convenient to the Truffles restaurant and the laundry facilities were directly opposite the cabin if you wanted to wash clothing or do any ironing. Balcony was a bit longer than the usual extended balcony. They tried to fit 3 chairs and a small table. You don't get much of a breeze back there, you do get a few flies and a TON of sun. The view is nice but we wouldn't be spending the extra money to do it again unless it was a wrap balcony.  Read entire member review.

We always book "extended balcony, aft view." The cabins on the back of the ship are the same as other balcony cabins, but the balcony is a little deeper. You feel no wind when the ship is underway and get full sun all day. Center back is very quiet (unless you have a noisy kid in and out nearby, slamming doors and screeching on the balcony, as we did this trip). No one passes your room except people in the 5 or so cabins back there, and service staff. Carnival's cabins are generously sized with adequate storage. There is a magnifying make-up mirror, good lighting in the bathroom, shower gel and shampoo dispensers, a vanity desk with hairdryer, full length mirror and other mirrors. There is a queen size bed and small sofa with bolster. We always bring a hanging, folding shoe holder and stash underwear, handbags, shoes, accessories in it. I find these cabins very comfortable for a non-suite balcony cabin.  Read entire member review.

Extended cabin on back of ship. Cabin 7300, king size bed. Had a couch and small table. Makeup/desk area in front of couch with a stool and mirrors. Very comfortable for two. Loved the pilows so much I was tempted to take one. LOL Children has 7302, which had 3 beds. Not sure about comfort, but I didn't hear any complaining. We were on Verandah (7th level) and you could feel some vibration during the night at the higher ship speeds. Other nights you didn't feel a thing. Never had the smell that some said you would from the ship smoke stacks curling back down. You feel a little more sway back and forth, but not enough to warrant not staying in these rooms.  Read entire member review.

The back of the ship has a constant shimmy while at sea. It rocked me to sleep, but may bother others. Larger balcony is nice with a wonderful 180% view of ports. Allows the occupants to view both sides.  Read entire member review.
