Cabin Rating
While our sky suite was roomy, and did have a full bath, the height of the side on the tub/shower combination was extremely high, and difficult to enter. The balcony was narrow, and looked down upon the lifeboats, thus making our view a bit less inspiring than expected. Unlike the Mini-suite we have had aboard Princess, the separation between the sitting area and the sleeping area was non-existent, although it did not make the cabin any less enticing. The biggest surprise was the walk in closet with the umbrellas, binoculars, and robes. It made unpacking and storing our clothes a pleasure.  Read entire member review.
Back after 10 years by seapointer

I was able to book a sky suite (6117) at an extremely good rate and the extra room and amenities which come with a suite were well worth the extra few dollars, particularly since it came with an extra $200 onboard credit, one free specialty dining, and free pressing on arrival. The bed was very comfortable and we had a small sofa and sitting chair in the cabin. The balcony had 2 chairs with ottomans and a small table.
Our excellent Butler Ryan from India served the afternoon tea daily that included choice of finger sandwiches cakes and cookies to enjoy in your room. A second afternoon service was canapés such as sushi or crackers with spreads, but we usually passed on these to save room for dinner. For some reason, there is no plug outlet in the bathroom, and only one double plug in the cabin. We had a full bathtub, plenty of towels and toiletries. The suite also had a spacious walk in closet with 6 drawers and shelves inside, so there was plenty of storage. The only minor negative was the view of the lifeboat just below the balcony.

There were some differences between the Sky Suite and Concierge Class. The concierge class room has wooden and mirrored walls, a more splendid balcony, a bath tub and marble bathroom finishes. What they say about the tub/shower area being high is true. A 6' 2" person will probably hit the ceiling often times and someone 6'3" or taller would probably not fit in the shower. The butler was a real parody of suite service. He was really a very nice person and I can assure you he did the best he could; however, he was not properly trained in how things should be handled at a 5 star level. There was no espresso machine, unlike my mother's concierge cabin; we did not get the fresh daily flowers, the binoculars, etc. Other than during breakfast when the butler served breakfast in a very timely fashion, room service would take approximately one hour to arrive. The cabin was not cleaned impeccably (stains on the mirrors persisted during the entire cruise). Towel service was not outstanding. They close the mini-bar for the last night of the cruise and will not refill-your ice during that night either. For the first night, we were offered a free dinner at The Normandie restaurant as were all the suite guests.  Read entire member review.

Great location. Very quiet.

Clean, spacious, quiet, updated decor. Plenty of outlets. Large closet. We actually used part of the closet as an impromptu changing area. Conveniently located to elevator and I-lounge. Nice layout.

Another Memorable Vacation by Cruise a holic

6120- Quiet cabin. Balcony overlooks life boats below-

We had Sky Suite 6122. Looked bigger in the picture but it was comfortable. Sofa was hard. Could have done without the tub and had a bigger shower. Plenty of hanging space in the closet but very lacking in drawer space. Great location and quiet. The furniture could stand a little sprucing up. All wood but heavily scratched and chipped.

A slice of Heaven by cruisephypro
While cabin 9117 is near the elevator and under the pool deck- we never had a noise problem- The cabin is large as is the bathroom. The bathroom however is handicapped accessible so it lacks a full sized tub as in other suites- but the shower is huge. The cabin is spacious. The balcony however is standard and not as large as we had expected-  Read entire member review.
We were lucky enough to snag a guarantee suite (W) at the last minute, and were assigned Accessible Sky Suite 9117. The cabin is located on deck 9 just forward of the mid-ship elevators on the port side. We cringed a little when we first learned the location, but ultimately were thrilled with the placement. Despite concerns of noise from the pool deck above, it was generally quiet. The loudest by far was the night of the White Party (Wednesday night before our sea day) when music could be heard until well past midnight on the pool deck. Never once could we hear the elevator, and traffic in the hallways wasn't an issue either. A few footsteps from above as kids ran by on a couple occasions, but no deck chair noise, and quiet every evening and morning. Being mid-ship made getting around incredibly easy. The room itself is spectacular. Very spacious given it's 'accessible' status, and while there's no walk-in closet, there is plenty of cabinet and closet storage for a week's trip. The bathroom is without a tub, and storage is at a minimum here. No door on the shower does mean the floor gets wet when you shower, but you quickly realize the benefit of the space to move around! The room isn't without a few knicks and dings, but it's overall in great shape. The balcony has two chairs and a table, and both breakfast and afternoon cappuccino were comfortable. If you're used to the S-Class balconies, those on the M-Class ships will feel small. They're generally narrower -- but still great! The overhang from the pool deck is obvious, but definitely helps keep the room shaded and balcony cooler in the late morning/early afternoon. The angled braces 'straddle' the room, so there's none directly in front of the balcony -- our neighbors weren't so lucky! More so than any other cruise, we made quite a bit of use of the balcony and room given the extra space.  Read entire member review.

We actually had the handicapped accessible room since there was as last minute price reduction and we decided to treat ourselves. I expected the balcony to be larger but it was fine for us. I just couldn't see anyone with a wheelchair having enough room to maneuver. We have always stayed on Deck 9 but this is the first time I heard noise up above us during the early morning hours. I am a light sleeper so I heard it (DH did not.)
