Inside stateroom with twin beds that convert to a king. Every Carnival guest is assured of spacious, comfortable accommodations. All staterooms have carpeting, ample drawer and closet space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone and color television showing first-run films. Our ships all feature staterooms above ocean level for a more comfortable cruise.
Cabin 6164 is an interior cabin right next to the elevator bank. It has 4 beds, with 2 being drop-downs from the ceiling. Very comfy beds though. There were 2.5 closets with plenty of space, plus 3 drawers and another lower cabinet in front of the mirror with 2 shelves and a door. The bathroom is a decent size. There's a small flat screen TV at the foot of the beds and a phone in the room. I didn't see a hair dryer but there was a men's shaver in the bathroom on the wall.
Being next to the elevators, we did hear every single person that walked down the hall in the middle of the night, and we also heard everyone that went through the "Crew" door that was right on the other side of the wall from our room. If you're a light sleeper definitely bring earplugs!
Our bathroom floor drains backed up and flooded on the nite we got back from Half Moon Cay. It was bad. It almost spilled onto the carpet. We called housekeeping and they said 25 other rooms were flooding too. Apparently the sand and hair from everyone on the ships had clogged all the drain pipes. Not sure how often this happens, but beware! They did send someone out to fix it fairly promptly and the problem was solved. Read entire member review.
