8161: Our cabin (Interior - J class), was adequate but smallish, though the bathroom was more than adequate. It was quiet, though one occasionally heard what was going on in the next room, but nothing unusual. The closet space is really small and inadequate for more than one person.

We had an inside cabin on the 8th deck not far off the atrium which was on the 7th deck. The room was tiny, with two twin beds that we had to push together when we first got there, a writing desk/vanity with a good hair dryer, a small fridge so full of expensive liquor, sodas, and snacks we only had room to put a couple of sodas in, and a small safe. There was plenty of storage for our clothes. The room was still plenty large enough for the 2 of us.
The bathroom had the commode on one side, sink and mirror in the middle and a good sized shower with sliding glass door on the other side. Hand soap, shampoo, and shower gel were all in wall-mounted pump containers and worked very well. While we brought conditioner, my wife never used it.
We had a small tv set that got mostly ship entertainment and information channels, with a couple of external channels that came and went, and a web-cam channel over the bow of the ship that we left on most of the time. The stewards kept our room up nicely, but the little towel animals definitely was not the same quality as we were used to on Carnival. We got towel animals 3 days. One was a cute elephant with two eyes, the next was a cute elephant with one eye, and the last animal was a mystery. Read entire member review. |

Our cabin #8651 was a J category, inside cabin. There were 3 of us in there. The DH, DS (13) and myself. While it was small we were comfortable the few times at night and in the morings when we were all in there together. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the upgraded linens, especially the European-sized pillow we got in addition to the regular-sized one. The temperature controls were easy to use and we were very comofortable throughout the entire cruise. The one big drawback was that the walls were very, very thin, and unfortunately we were right next to some young men that were very, loud, rude and vulgar! I heard the "F" word at least a dozen times a day. I'm not a prude, but enough is enough. When I asked them to please quiet down a bit and not use the "F" word too much they cussed me out really bad! They were just trashy people. We decided not to let them ruin our cruise and they didn't. We had a great time. We would definitely book an inside room again on NCL. Read entire member review. |

excellent location - easy to get to stardust theaater and casino. short little walk to get to the atrium - try going through the internet cafe to get down stairs. Quite location. Gentle hum helped you sleep at night. Read entire member review. |

Basic NCL interior room. Nice bathroom/closet layout. Table restricts access to one side of bed (twins combined) -- need to climb from foot of bed. Carnival has larger rooms, but overall we still prefer NCL for freestyle. Read entire member review. |

11113 - Very noisy during the night. Our negative of the cruise was our particular cabin's middle of the night noise. It was galley noises that woke us up around 1am and 6am every morning. Banging pans, rolling carts, etc. We complained daily. We were given ear plugs. Read entire member review. |

Small and needed minor maintenance. Obvious places cleaned, but top shelves, under bed were not for a long time. We actually like inside cabins for the quiet and no early morning sun. Star just not getting the details right. Read entire member review. |
