Mid-Ship Inside Cabins 44 Reviews
Great for up to four guests, these staterooms come with two lower beds that convert into a queen-size bed additional bedding to accommodate up to two more guests. Because these are mid-ship staterooms, you'll have easy access to everything fun and exciting on board.

Norwegian Star is a star by serialcruiser48
We stayed in two cabins on our two week cruise. They were both inside cabins. The first 9673 was on deck nine close to the Internet Cafe and offered great access to the decks below. My wife complained of a creek in the ceiling when the seas were rough and since the ship was completely booked, they offered her ear plugs. Our cabin steward Demetrio was outstanding. Our second cabin 10089 was also and inside cabin. I liked the layout of 9673 more, but 10089 was quiet in all seas. If 9673 had been a quiet cabin, it would have been perfect. Our cabin steward of 10089 was Hared and he was also outstanding.  Read entire member review.

Would have gotten a cabin with balcony if I had known we would see so much wildlife. Inside cabin was much better than 2 other cruises. The only thing missing was a clock because with no outside light, you never knew what time it was when waking up or deciding to wake up!  Read entire member review.

We had ordered a bar set up and it was ready for us when we finally got to our cabin, too busy meeting people and starting our cruise in the bier garten. The Gin we ordered came home with us but it was noticeable that on the NCL Spirit we got about 8 cans of soft drinks plus lemons, limes, cherries, drink mats, swizzle sticks and allsorts on a nice tray. This time it was the giant bottle of booze and 4 cans! Someone had also sent us a bottle of wine and chocolate strawberries but there was no name on the card so we don't know who to thank. The strawberries were delicious and we still have the wine.

Our cabin was an inside number 10099. The insides on NCL are very small compared to the large balcony cabins. The bathroom, (although smaller) worked better than the balconies because the toilet was not in a separate cubicle. There was a load of clanging, banging, dragging and hammering noises that came from somewhere at the back of the cabin, that started at 3-4am every night, without fail. We surmised that some kind of works access corridor had to be behind us, or possibly just above. Our steward was lovely and we had a whole zoo of towel animals on some days. As usual for NCL the cabin was spotless!

Had a good time by AliciaSK
Small as expected, very quiet location, near elevators. The bathroom was big and we liked the doors rather than a curtain on the shower. Better then we expected.  Read entire member review.

The inside cabins are not large at 142 sq feet but since I was traveling solo I had plenty of room and plenty of closet space. If there had been two of us, then on a 15 day trip the closet space might have been pretty tight. Cabin was in good condition and clean. I usually try for midship cabins as the ride is smoother and easier access to the other parts of the ship.  Read entire member review.

This cabin is next to a crew space, it is quite except the last night due to luggage collection.  Read entire member review.

10601-significant noise problem at night due to pool maintenace and other work areas above. 11580-wonderful cabin, well located for easy reach to pool, cafe, and kids' areas.  Read entire member review.

No room to move...much smaller than comparable on RCL or HAL. (Shower was bigger) No comfortable chair or sofa.  Read entire member review.

Last NCL Cruise by Clicquot
Well laid out, small but plenty of storage space. Old CRT 14 inch TV. Twin beds kept sliding apart, need some kind of clamp if you want to convert twin beds to queen bed. 10665 is on the 10th floor, inside.  Read entire member review.

An Amazing Vacation by acciofirebolt29
We were in room 11107. Really close to the Atrium elevators in the center of the ship. Inside stateroom. Very small room. If the beds are pushed together you can forget about using one half the side of the room unless you want to climb over the bed to get to it. Closets were great. Bathroom was larger than any I have ever seen on a cruise ship. The toilet was angled so that your legs didn't press against the wall. The showed was large enough with a nice removable shower head. Fixtures were really nice and it looked like the room and bathrooms had just been redone.  Read entire member review.

11113 - Very noisy during the night. Our negative of the cruise was our particular cabin's middle of the night noise. It was galley noises that woke us up around 1am and 6am every morning. Banging pans, rolling carts, etc. We complained daily. We were given ear plugs.  Read entire member review.

Dreams do come true by STREETGLIDE2007
Inside Cabin Catagory II Cabin 11119. Was a little noisy at night when they cleaned the Market Cafe that was above our room. Could hear the dishwasher running and moving things around. Cabin had plenty of room. If your not going to be in your room alot and don't need a veiw (you can be on deck 7 and have a GREAT view) this cabin I woould stay in again.  Read entire member review.

11611 - Comparing this inside cabin to what we've had on Royal Caribbean, Princess, and Celebrity, it was definitely smaller. I would describe it as being on the verge of being too small. If you are an average size person, it's OK. If you are a large person, look for a larger cabin. I can't recommend this room due to the noise factor. There is a service hallway behind or above this cabin, and every morning, early, a heavy cart would be rolled down the service hallway, sounding like thunder, waking us up. I heard the same comment from our friends who were in the two adjacent cabins - 11613 and 11615. I was also surprised by the poor sound insulation between rooms - it's the first time I've been able to clearly make out conversation in the adjacent room without trying. If you take away the noise factor, the location of the room was excellent. That is, up one flight of stairs to the buffet and pool. Bottom line: I would not choose to stay in this room again.  Read entire member review.

Our inside cabin was the smallest we have ever experienced. I stepped it off and estimate that there were 127 square feet. Opening the door exposed the entire bed and one would almost fall into bed upon stepping into the cabin. We did get a great price though and this cabin was acceptable given that.  Read entire member review.

Norwegian Disasters by 5californiacruisers
The room was exactly what I expected. They pushed two twin beds together to make a king bed and the beds were sunken in but everything else was fine.  Read entire member review.

the hallway was a little noisy, the TV was old and dated, the water temp in the shower never seemed to get hot enough, the hallways always seemed to have cleaning supplies/old food trays/laundry bags filling the space  Read entire member review.

8167 NOISY ! Main lounge stage directly below. Music, jokes, laughs, and rehearsals right through the floor. I could sing along on every tune. At all times of day and night. Ear plugs don't help. 9171 below main kitchen for deck 10 buffet. Cleaning dishes, preparing food, ROLLING CARTS even in the 2 a.m. - 7 a.m. sleep window. I could even hear the crew talking through these walls (floor ceiling)every morning. Oh yes, the ceiling tiles/plates rattled too. Not bad for a 64 year old guy.  Read entire member review.

Forward inside cabin facing front of ship on deck 8. It was quiet since it is at the end of a hallway so not a lot of people walking by. However, it was noisy in Belize City since the ship anchors at sea and we could hear the loud heavy equipment being deployed early in the morning (6am or so) and it woke us up. Cabin steward very attentive.  Read entire member review.
