Good location, right next to larger suites. No noise from anywhere.  Read entire member review.

Great storage, bathrooms not as small as expected. Space under the beds was enough for our largest suitcases. Can sunbath on balcony. Odd RV-style latrine smells when the balcony door is left open (pulls air from the rest of the ship somewhere).  Read entire member review.

Perfectly nice stateroom, on the small side but manageable for three people. My only complaint would be the sleeper sofa bed, which was three quarters hard as a rock, and the bottom quarter was squishy. The balcony is slightly enclosed due to being so far forward, but it wasn't a problem for us.  Read entire member review.

Balcony Stateroom 9032- Great balcony on deck 9 with a quiet location. We loved being at the front of the ship away from the hustle and bustle of the public areas. Closet space worked for us as well as the bathroom space and our Steward Joel, couldn't have been better. We had great views all throughout our cruise. Loved having the clothes line in the shower to hang up wet bathing suits and excursion gear. Tip: bring clothes pins, as things dried a lot fast not hanging directly on the line. Best advice: Bring additional extension cord or multi-plugs to utilize the vanity area outside the bathroom for doing hair and make-up without trying up the bathroom.  Read entire member review.

Stateroom: #9066 Good location, very quiet, adequate balcony for two (2) people and a table for drinks, to play a game on, etc.  Read entire member review.

Spotless, good layout, plenty of storage. Shower was large enough to maneuver in adequately. Decor seemed a bit dated. Room steward was extremely efficient.  Read entire member review.

We were in room 9508, an forward balcony on the NCL Star. There were just two of us in the room. We had plenty of storage space. The bathroom was a little tight, but not unexpected. The staff was accommodating to remove anything we didn't need in the room (coffee pot, mini-bar items). Only one electrical outlet to plug into, however (we came prepared with an adapter to expand). We would have like more more UNDER the bed to store our larger suitcase. Small suitcase fit ok, but large one would not. Noise from outside or the neighbor cabins was not an issue. We met our neighbors next door and across the hall and had no issues. The balcony was large enough to enjoy. Signage on the ship was adequate to find our way as well. No complaints, we already have book our next two cruises, on NCL of course :) :)  Read entire member review.

Quiet because it as so far forward (and a hike from the elevator), enclosed balcony (at the expense of the view), smoky when smokers are next door, broken closet that they attempted to fix and didn't successfully. Railing was peeling and the glass was missing parts of brackets. TV was maybe 13" and we couldn't hear announcements in the cabin unless we had the TV on channel 2. Bathroom was larger than expected and one of the few bright spots.  Read entire member review.

Nice cabin, roomy closet, comfy beds, nice bathroom. Not noisy.  Read entire member review.

The location of our room, 9532, was just fine. This room was one of the smallest I have ever had on our 12 cruises, even though it is only the second cruise we have had a balcony cavin. There was also less storage space than I am used to on RCCL or Carnival. But we loved having a balcony. If you go on this ship, I recommend a balcony room, as there are few pleasant common seating areas. We really enjoyed being able to sit outside. Greatest fun was waking up at 6:15 as we entered San Francisco. I went out on the balcony just as we passed under the Golden Gate Bridge!  Read entire member review.

Nicely located near the foraward stairs and lifts. Didn't notice any noise from passers by given the location. A good choice.  Read entire member review.

Don't pick cabin 9566, which has incredible creaking when the ship goes through waves. But the ocean view cabin category is decent sized with a nice bathroom. Only one chair on the balcony though ...  Read entire member review.

Adequate closet.  Toilet/sink/shower were quite adequate...unless you weigh over 300 lbs. then you might have some trouble.  Very comfortable bed.  Great place to relax with a nice balcony.  Read entire member review.

Handicap, poor lighting, small uncomfortable old couch with a pull down bed over it so not good for tall people to sit on, poor TV placement, close to elevators, quiet.  Read entire member review.

loved the balcony and the light in the closet. I think you do a great job maximizing space.  Read entire member review.

Cabin -- We had a balcony cabin on deck 9. The cabin was adequate in space (for a cruise ship). It included a small 'desk', 2 twin beds pushed together to make a king (note-the space between the beds can get uncomfortable if you like to sleep close), a small dresser area with three drawers, a numerical combination safe, and a closet with 4 shelves. The bathroom had a walk-in shower with glass door. The toilet was in a separate area with a sliding door. Unfortunately, if you are a person of 'substance' navigating the narrow opening into the toilet can be tricky (especially during nighttime bathroom visits). We heard, and a couple we were traveling with, had some difficulties with this narrow space. Also important to note is that the bathroom does not have any bar soap. There is liquid soap available (the shower has both a liquid shampoo and body wash dispenser) but if you like bar soap, you better bring some. There were no other bathroom amenities available. Our room steward was adequate; he had limited personality (never spoke with us when he saw us unless we initiated it) and had days when he forgot things (ie. One day there was only 1 towel, one day no ice, etc.)  Read entire member review.

Bed was way too firm, tv was older box model, floor to ceiling sliding door was lovely, view was beautiful on the balcony, air conditioning was not cold enough, cabin steward was outstanding.  Read entire member review.

9710- nice bathroom. roomy for 2 people but a 3rd person, it may become cramped. it was great for just the 2 of us. There was some outside noise of people carrying on in the halls late at night. but nothing major and it was just the people, not the location of the cabin itself.  Read entire member review.

Mixed Feelings by FunGranny
While smaller than cabins on other ships, it was well designed with plenty of storage space and hangers. It was clean and the cabin stewart,Sharek, was excellent.  Read entire member review.
