Great shower, decent location, quiet given that the ship was full  Read entire member review.

Awkward room configuration, but great bathroom layout. We had 2 adjoining rooms which cost about the same as one mini-suite but gives much more room and privacy (and an extra bathroom!)  Read entire member review.

Balcony stateroom, Rather compact but clean had to have bedcover changed as spotted dryed blood on it,not ours. The higher you go the more ships movement you feel this was the case on deck 10.Running cold water was warm.  Read entire member review.

Room # 10030 Well appointed, big shower, adequate balcony, plenty of storage space.  Read entire member review.

Quiet. Good bathroom setup (sink in the middle and separate doors on each side for a shower and a toilet). Average sized closet. Shelves located in the closet (don't notice at first). Desk area too small. Table in room makes for tight space. Don't put more than 2 people in this room. Three is way too many! Great beds. Balcony good enough for 2, but only for drinks, not dinner. Excellent view. Best view for Alaska cruise (get to see the scenery all the way up to Alaska).  Read entire member review.

The room - Our room was available immediately so we went upstairs and dropped our cary-ons off in our room and started to check things out. The bathroom configuration was different than on the HAL balcony cabin. HAL had a tub/shower combo where NCL only had an elongated shower. It was nice to have the glass shower door instead of a shower curtain however. The room appeared and felt "smaller" than the HAL rooms we had been in before (VD on the Oosterdam and an A on the Rotterdam) but it was cozy and nice. From my estimates the room was physically narrower than the HAL rooms and the different bathroom configuration made the room less deep from the HAL equivalents. The balcony was just deep enough for the two chairs to sit on an angle (no lounges could work here) with a small drink table. The TV in the room was a 9" Tube TV, so NCL hasn't made the upgrade to flat panels in all their rooms yet. Also HAL had a DVD player in both our rooms - I guess you have to be a suite customer to get this on NCL. There was only one 110 AC outlet in the room and one in the bathroom (so two total). If you need more than that, then bring a travel converter as the rest of the ship appears to primarily use the European plug style. The other advice would be to bring some sort of power strip. This room is configured to have 3-people, and the couch is a hide-a-bed. However, it is more that the hide-a-bed folds into something that resembles a couch. Not very comfortable as a couch, but we didn't have the opportunity to use it as a bed. Overall the room was great, and I really enjoyed having the balcony!  Read entire member review.

Our Cabin was beautiful. The ship is 10 years old but the room did not show it. It was well kept and the scenery from the balcony was incredibly beautiful. The accommodations are small but everything is put together well and you really don't miss the space. The bed was king size and comfortable. The balcony was not huge but big enough for us.  Read entire member review.

Incredible balcony and view (you will not want to go back to inside or ocean view rooms), quiet (no/low noise from hallway), nicely appointed room (not gaudy), quick/good room housekeeping, white sheets, annoying crease in the middle of our "queen" bed due to twins pushed together, somewhat hard mattresses but nice pillows, not too cramped a room actually, great bathroom though small, only one 110V outlet in room so bring power strip and extension cord, hair dryer in the room (not bathroom), TV is tiny/low quality but did have inputs to watch our own videos from our camera. Watch out for guys who roll by your balcony window at ports to spray down ship--they caught us by surprise a few times while we were practically naked--there was no warning about them or what they were doing. We loved the privacy and view of the room and spent much time there. We were tempted by the $150/couple for the week to use the Spa facility, but room was sufficient with public hot tubs. In room safe was sufficient for small items like wallets, batteries, keys, cameras, iPods, phones, but not for a laptop. Maybe an iPad?  Read entire member review.

We were at the back of the ship, on the starboard side. We had great neighbors--very quiet and no one smoked--loved that, since we had a balcony. We loved the separation of shower, toilet, and sink! I would have loved a bathtub! We enjoyed the robes--used them every day. The carpet on our balcony looked worn and dirty--definitely should be replaced. The chairs on the balcony looked a little shop-worn, as well. And the door, into our cabin, was pretty scratched on the inside.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 10220 is a standard balcony stateroom that was well appointed, but a little shop worn. The bed was much harder than those we enjoyed on the Sky and Jade last year, the upholstery was faded on the couch and the drapes had tears and holes. The balcony itself was missing chunks of the non-skid material, and the balcony glass had a milky white appearance due to water spots (the glass was cleaned in Juneau).  Read entire member review.

The Holiday STAR by FanofFlorida
Great proximity to the elevators- I thought this might be bad but we experienced no noise from that area. Shower is great! Only three drawers, but lots of open shelving. TV is ridiculously small. Beds are very firm even with folded padding under sheets YOU CANNOT HEAR THE ANNOUNCEMENTS in your room- there is no on/off switch 2 electrical outlets- one in bathroom is hidden with flip up cover under shelf  Read entire member review.

Cabin 10538 was a little on the small side. The beds were ok after adding the egg-crate mattress pad. Te balcony was a little small, with just enough room for two-chairs and a small table. The bathroom was, well, a cruise ship bathroom. The shower was of for a big guy like me, but i preferred the showers in the spa. the toilet area was separated by a sliding door that made getting up and down on the toilet a bit of a squeeze. Closet space was small as well, just enough room for hanging clothes, but very limited room for small stuff. Storage of suitcases under the bed was fine.  Read entire member review.

1068-1070 adjoining cabins. Other than the ceiling falling on my head one afternoon (when I tried to close the door between the adjoining cabins) we were very pleased with our cabins. Felt there was good storage considering the square footage. Love the shower! The linens are wonderful and smooth (do you make them available for sale like some hotels do?), and the mattress was very comfortable. We were pleased that the couch made such a roomy and comfortable bed for our toddler....in fact, it would have been fine for a grown-up.  Read entire member review.

Cabin in a great location, just aft of the aft elevators. No problems with noise, and easy access to the public areas at the rear of the ship.  Read entire member review.

Small Balcony - two is a crowd if you get my meaning. Small toilet area and always felt cramped in bathroom. Cabin has good closet space and many places to store and tuck your belongings.  Read entire member review.

9080.  Wonderful. Adequate size. Nice location.  Comfortable balcony.

(We never did get accustomed to the hallway signage.  Entering the hall from the Forward elevators, the Arrows on the directional sign in the hallway -although correct - seemed to point in opposite direction from the one we wanted to walk).   Read entire member review.
