Family Balcony Cabins 24 Reviews
These connecting staterooms are perfect if you want to bring the kids along. They sleep up to three guests and include a sitting area, two lower beds that convert into a queen-size bed and a pull out sofa to accommodate one more. Not to mention the floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open to a private balcony for the whole family to enjoy.

Our Balcony Stateroom was perhaps the WORST part of the trip. We booked a mid ship balcony which are on decks 9, 10 and 11. The website shows that they are 203 to 220 sq. ft. with balconies that are 37 to 54 sq. ft. Close to our sailing we were "upgraded" to a Family Balcony on Deck 8. The room they put us in was at the front of the ship directly above the theater. I called NCL many times to change our room and complain about the location, noise, etc and they would not change the room saying it was an upgrade, it had a larger balcony, the ship was fully booked, etc. We attempted again at the pier but with no luck. Not only was our room small, but the balcony was enclosed around the perimeter by the ships hull since we were so close to the front of the ship (this prevents water spray from coming on deck, mostly). This inhibited our view, created a tin can noise effect and negated the lovely experience of having a balcony. Horrible.

Not bad. A little small. Bathroom was bigger than we've had in the past.  Read entire member review.

Balcony cabin 9192 is in a great location on a quiet corridor, close to the aft elevators and a short walk from the mid ship elevators.Since there are cabins above and below there is no noise from ship activity.  Read entire member review.

Disappointed a bit by trintrav
well appointed, not so clean though. Loved the interior connecting doors with our adjacent cabin  Read entire member review.
Great balcony but if you get revelers late at night like we did, don't leave the sliding glass door open. There was also a nightly gathering of a million smokers 2 floors down right below us on the Deck 7 catwalk. Unless you have a good wind, expect the smell to make it into your room. The bathroom water pressure is okay for a ship and the temp get's hot enough (I like real hot showers)but won't get to the burning level. Bed is split so there is a small gap in the middle. The pull out bed did just fin for our 7-yeear old daughter but would not be big enough for an adult. About 15 hangers. Blow dryer. No iron or ironing board. Coffee maker. Nice clean room overall.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 9716 aft. Good sized cabin with a small balcony. Quiet area of the ship.  Read entire member review.
Not the best by dstone
Cabins were adequate, but tight for space. Closet was a nice size. Lighting over the vanity mirror was very poor and only one electrical outlet was not enough.  Read entire member review.
Closets very small for this class cabin. Would be tight for a long cruise.  Read entire member review.

Tiny Room, Tiny Balcony, Noisy, Ship rocked too much  Read entire member review.
The balcony rooms on the 9th floor were great. We loved having a balcony and sitting outside every once in a while. Since it was on the 9th floor it was close to most floors and we usually didn't take elevators. The rooms are not too big but if you can spend the extra money definitely get a room with a balcony in it!  Read entire member review.
