Perfectly adequate cabin. Little movement or noise. Great for exiting as we always went ashore on deck 4.

A small cabin but clean in general

Cabin was great, walls a little thin, but not a major problem for us. My sister's neighbors were loud.

Cabin 9077 was smaller than inside cabins on most other ships. It has a bunk bed attached to the wall, so if you don't need a bunk bed, it creates a hazard when getting up during the night. The commode is tiny leaving almost no leg room. Shower was adequate, with decent water pressure. Cabin location is about 100 feet to the forward elevator...the one closest to the theater, and about 250 feet from the midship elevator...the one you would take to the Marketplace Buffet, the Blue Lagoon, and several other important venues. Location was convenient most of the time.

As far as our cabin is concerned there are pros and cons. More pros than cons, but the cons I think are mostly a personnel issue than anything. We stayed in a balcony cabin set as a king size bed. The room is smaller than other balcony cabins we have had, but it functioned. The shower was very nice, and had a sliding door to offer privacy. The toilet area had a similar door, though the room with the stool was tight. A long legged, or heavy set person would have had some trouble getting in and out I think.

When we first arrived in our cabin the steward greeted us as normal. He told us that if we needed anything to just write him a note and leave it on the bed. As we looked around we noticed that several things had not been cleaned. Namely, the balcony windows and doorway were cloudy and dirty and the mirrors in the room all had smudges and fingerprints. The doorframe in the restroom was grimy as well. It felt as if our steward had done the minimum of what he had to do. The bed was nicely made, floors swept and towels folded neatly, but beyond that the cabin needed more attention. We wrote him a note as he asked us to, but it took days before our mirrors got cleaned. We also ended up with towels that were spotted with rust and towels that were thread bare and tearing. While I know the ship is older, like the coffee cup I mentioned earlier, these kinds of things should never be seen by a guest.

As far as the balcony itself goes, we had an enclosed balcony. There was enough room for 2 chairs and a small table, but again it is smaller than the last balcony we had. We noticed that there was bits of broken glass still on the balcony from where the sliding door had been replaced. Additionally, the door itself permanently has a handprint in it from where the workman who installed it put his hand on it and then put up the outer pane of glass.

Closet space and drawer space was sufficient for our clothes and suitcases could be stored under the very hard bed. I would prefer a bit softer nights sleep, but that is just personal preference. The last thing about the cabin to note was that our steward seemed almost robotic. He made overtures of friendliness, but it seemed forced, and not at all genuine. I hate to sounds like such a negative Nancy about him, but he was definitely far from what I expected from NCL.

Just Okay by leen50

Location of cabin was good. Cabin size, way too small for a balcony cabin, only 1 tiny nightstand. Side shelves in closet almost inaccessible. Bathroom storage non existent. Balcony with 2 chairs & small table was very private. The weather was good enough that we used it a lot. Good hairdryer not in the bathroom.

Our stateroom was mid-ship--just opposite the main elevators/stairway. We had some concerns about potential noise but it was virtually never a problem. And we were very convenient to everything we wanted to do and areas of the ship that we tended to visit.

Above our expectations by Lasvegas_marmalade

Excellent! The stateroom was actually bigger than the hotel room we stayed in the night prior to embarking on the cruise. Ample cupboards and hanging space, with the ice bucket topped up twice daily and a TV for those less inclined to join in the activities. There is ample room to walk around the lovely large bed and the balcony adds the extra magic.

Star Boat review by ray8905

Forward facing suite, Plenty of room to move about and we did have room for 4 to comfortably have breakfast served. Balcony is large enough and you can see into the bridge from the balcony. (That means they can see you too) but this is only the case at the balcony rail. Don't open the balcony door while the cabin door is open because it will suck all the air from the hallway into the room or vise versa and blow all the tiles out of the ceiling. (pretty funny) 2nd bed was a pullout sofa and kids didn't complain. A nice feature is a heavy curtain that can be drawn to surround the bed for added privacy or darkness. Bathroom had a tub and shower and plenty of storage. main closet is accessible from 2 sides which was convenient. Bed was amazingly comfortable.

Cabin 10520 is as pictured on the web site. It is a forward cabin. i did feel some motion at times but not enough to be a bother. We took a chance on a Guaranteed Balcony Cabin and were very satisfied. We enjoyed using the balcony on the nice days. Arriving in the ports and using the balcony is a lot of fun for us. We got some wonderful sunset pictures as well as the sunset is very late in the Baltics in June.

Comfortable, descent size, larger bathroom than other cruise lines.

The location was perfect - just ahead of the aft elevators. Room was very narrow, and only one person could move between the balcony and doorway at one time. Bathroom was small but well designed, although the shower could have had better pressure. There was limited drawer space but additional shelves in the closet allowed us to find room for everything. The only real complaint is that the extra pull-out bed was very hard as a seat.

I must say, everyone I spoke to was right, once you have had a suite you will never go back to a simple balcony. On this 9 day Baltic sailing, we brought our 16 year old son so we booked the Jade Suite. A 2 bedroom, two bath suite. It was wonderful. Beautifully furnished, nice dining area, complete with a expresso machine. Couch, two chairs, big flat screen TV in living area. Nice large deck with wood flooring, two lounge chairs. The master bedroom was fabulous. Very comfortable king size bed, beautiful linens. Jacuzzi tub and a walk-in multi-jetted shower both with a window view. Plenty of storage space all over. Perfect location, right near the elevator. The butler, steward, concierge service was all top-notch. Having a suite also means you can have breakfast & lunch at Cagneys which is fabulous. Early disembarkation at every port as well. Well worth the extra money.

Fabulous suite! Highly recommended!! Floor to ceiling windows across the length of the suite gives a very open and airy feeling. Tons of storage space. The bathroom was huge and had a full size tub and a separate shower that can easily fit two at the same time. Loved it so much, we booked it for our next cruise.

Baltic Cruise by Kiva traveler

Great size for the 4 of us. We used the pull out bed and murphy bed. Lots of storage space and the bathroom had plenty of room. Loved the floor to ceiling windows. Great for viewing the scenery while entering or leaving port. Had some over head noise but no one else in my family seemed to notice it.

Cabin was wonderful!!! A family suite which was perfect for two women traveling together. It cost less to have a suite than two single cabins and such a great decision. there was lots of space for each of us and the main bed are and pull out couch are (another bed) were separated by an entire wooden wall which provided great privacy. The bathroom had two sink areas which also was nice for two people travelling together. We mostly loved the floor to ceiling windows where we could sit and watch the beautiful scenery of the area.

Cabin was generally ok. Neither bed nor pillows were comfortable. Cabin poorly prepared - tissues container empty and drinks missing from minibar. Coffee maker did not work.

Panama Canal by cruisinwithfriends
We stayed in a inside cabin which would of been great except for the noise. Our cabin was on the 5Th deck, cabin number 5591. The room stewards facilities were right beside our room and behind it. At 6 am every morning you could here them banging in there and water running all the time. It was noisier then any hotel room I have ever stayed in. Our ceiling had a leek one day, we called about it and it was fixed immediately and they delivered a bottle of wine to our room for our trouble (which really was no trouble). These things happen.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was #9036 (BA grade) and midship. It was good sized, but plastic in appearance. TV was very old. Balcony had tacky chairs and flooring. Bed was comfortable. Loud speaker system was poor. Bathroom was also plastic in appearance. Storage and closet were more than adequate for our 4 days especially since most people never wore anything but shorts.  Read entire member review.

It was hard to get clothing in and out of the mini-suite's closet as it opens toward the bed. Great location, though. The Garden Villa was stupendous!  Read entire member review.

Cabin was overall smaller than was are used to, but the bathroom was bigger. Very quiet, steward was great, beds were comfortable but obviously well used. Bunk bed hanging on the wall was in the way a lot.

We were in an ocean view. The closet had ample space, and there were lots of drawers. We were under a walk way so it was quite noisy. The pull out bed is hard as a rock, so are the pillows. There are not a lot of amenities. The ocean view was a decent size. Lots of storage space.  Read entire member review.

Forward Facing Cabin - great for days in port, balcony can't be used in rough weather, or after dark. Too much furniture. Sea door - you had to be strong to open it.  Read entire member review.

We had signed up for balcony, but NCL recalled balconies from our travel agent, so we had an inside room. It was very small at 140 sq feet. We would not do an inside on NCL again, even with a real low cost.
