Room 8070 is between a large and small lifeboat. You have a pretty clear view of the water from this one. The hallway for floor 8 is a bit difficult to navigate because of all the twists and turns it makes to compensate for the outside area. The room was poorly laid out, but I think that is the case for all the OV rooms on this ship.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 8086: Ample closet space. Ample space for 3 guests but not for 4. Nice bathroom layout with doors separating shower & toilet areas. Ample space under beds to store luggage. Ample desk areas and drawers, mirrors, shelves. Cabin 8082: Same comments as for cabin# 8086 BUT noise in morning (0630hrs)because across the hallway is crew stairway/space & storeroom.  Read entire member review.

small stateroom, tight spaces for beds, good closet spaces, good bathroom layout, updated decor.  Read entire member review.

8118 was close to the activity but still quiet; small but adequate; adjacent to stairs and elevators. Obstructed view means that you're looking at a lifeboat and slice of ocean, and that's enough view for me to avoid seasickness. The bathroom is adequate but would be awkward if not impossible, for plus-size people. I was annoyed to get a bill after drinking the bottled water on our desk, and I said so and it didn't go on the bill. There was virtually no engine noise, no issue with music as the nearby lounge act ended at midnight. Another time I'd consider a balcony suite, well worth it to have a private shaded spot to relax.  Read entire member review.

Great time on Norwegian by Williamrights
It was supposed to be 90% obstructed view was only 10 so that was great. However there was a light on outside at all times. The curtains kept it out though. I thought it was plenty big enough for the 2 of us. As my wife stated in the newlywed not so newlywed game the shower was plenty big enough for 2 to "exercise". It was clean and comfortable.  Read entire member review.

When three women travel together there is a LOT of stuff. Considering two are teens, double that amount. We were booked in an obstructed view outside stateroom on deck 8. The layout of the room was terrific (two lower beds, on Murphy bed on the wall), a small desk area, two separate banks of drawers (3 each), an excellent sized closet (that included MORE shelving and the safe), two small bedside tables, and a bathroom that totally ROCKED. There was also a small TV (I heard a complaint that it wasn't a flat screen but really??? We weren't planning on spending any more time in the cabin than what we needed to sleep so WHO CARES???) and a small fridge. Let me tell all of you ladies out there...never in my life have I been on a ship with a bathroom that size. The area was SO well laid out. The toilet area was separated from the vanity area by a small sliding glass door. On the other side of the vanity was what I consider an oversized showed (for a ship) also enclosed by a sliding door. Really? No lousy shower curtain? Room to shave your legs? It was shear heaven!  Read entire member review.

Had a great time by kathyb19
We found our cabin to be very spacious. The bed was very comfortable, not like the reviews we had read that they were just a piece of foam over a mattress. We had an obscured view cabin and don't think we would pay extra next time for that type of room. The bathroom was not spacious but for the time we spent in our cabin, it was okay. There was plenty of space for out clothes. Our room steward bent over backwards for us. He was so pleasant and smiled all the time. He really seemed to enjoy his work. We always had fresh ice and a supply of soda. I really liked the animal figures he made with the towels. Very cute.  Read entire member review.

Room: We booked an obstructed oceanview room, which means that while there are 2 windows in the room, there is a lifeboat in front of them. We didn't want to spend the money on a balcony, as we figured we wouldn't be spending much time in the room anyway. The windows were nice because we could get some sunlight in. Additionally, we could see straight through the lifeboat on my boyfriend's side of the bed. The room itself is pretty tiny, but it works with 2 people. I couldn't imagine being in there with 3 people. There were two twin beds pushed together with one set of sheets and a duvet, but you couldn't really tell that it was 2 separate beds. I only knew from reading all about the rooms online. There was also another bed that you could pull down from the wall to form sort of a bunk bed above our bed. There was plenty of storage space in the room - a closet with 4 shelves inside, 6 drawers, a vanity, and another table. After reading all of the message boards on Cruise Critic, I brought an over-the-door shoe organizer, which I placed over the outside of the bathroom door. Super handy. I put all of the little things in there like sunscreen, our sunglasses, my little wristlets, etc. I don't like clutter, so it was nice to have a place to put everything. I had also brought a hanging cosmetic organizer which I hung on one of the hooks in the room. We (well, I) kept the room very organized, so I never felt like we were cramped. The bathroom was also very tiny, but it works. There was a sliding door between the toilet and the rest of the bathroom. The shower was fine, and there was a bit of storage space above the sink where we placed our toothbrushes and such. There was also a clothesline in the shower where you could hang wet clothes.  Read entire member review.

8596...strange bed setup for four guests. A trundle pops out between the single beds and one bunk. Better hope you like each other because you sleep all in a row. I slept on the trundle next to my husband and our granddaughter next to me. Her brother was above her in a bunk.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was very roomy. The biggest downfall for this particular cabin is having a trundle bed versus and additional bunk or pull out sofa. Thankfully for me, I shared a cabin with my daughters. If I was in a cabin with people other than family, I would be very uncomfortable and feel like we were all sleeping in one bed. Definitely not a good decision on NCL'S part.  Read entire member review.
