Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony Cabins 29 Reviews
With room for up to three guests, these staterooms have two lower beds that convert into a queen-size bed and a pull out sofa to accommodate one more. Along with a sitting area, floor-to-ceiling glass doors and a private balcony with an amazing view.

Cabin 8030- balcony. Also cabin 8025 inside. The bathroom in the balcony has a divider between toilet and sink area. There is no divider in the inside cabins. This may seem a plus but makes the bathroom very tight. Much roomier without the divider. Could hear rhythmic music late at night but with balcony door open, not an issue. When we first got on the A/C kept the room nice and cool. Towards the end it was warm--even when the A/C was turned up all the way.  Read entire member review.

8032 Rather small for a balcony cabin. Very nicely decorated. Thermostat worthless except for setting either heat or A/C. Adjustment not possible. Very, very comfortable bed! I sure wouldn't want to put more than two people in this cabin though! This cabin has the smallest TV I have ever seen on a cruise. Too much furniture. Extra chair and table make it all but impossible to use the settee. Settee makes a great nightstand for one who sleeps on the left side of the bed though. Balcony is just fine for only two people.  Read entire member review.

Loved the balcony.  Read entire member review.

Cabin was located near the forward elevators. Sometimes in the evening we could hear the music from the Carosel Lounge wharfing up the stairway but it didn't bother us. I liked the location so close to the elevators and stairs. Lots of storage space within the cabin. There seemed to be a lot of cubbyholes to store stuff. We had 3 people in a cabin and had no problems storing all of our stuff.  Read entire member review.

My room, which was a balcony room, was quite large and roomy and very inviting. My bed was extremely uncomfortable and felt like I was laying on metal rods. I ended up sleeping sitting up for 8 nights. My friends slept well so it may just be what you're used to. It was a quiet location and near the stairs and elevator. I rarely heard noise from outside the cabin. There was plenty of room to hang clothing and store bags. The shower was really good and there was a really good hairdryer. The balcony was pretty nasty looking. I wouldn't walk out on it barefoot. It was rusty looking and had flecks of paint everywhere. It was like really rough beat up flooring of some sort. I took pictures of it because it was so nasty looking. But as long as I wore shoes and sat on a towel I was still able to enjoy time on the balcony.  Read entire member review.

Room 8058 - great balcony, hard bed, good-size shower with clothesline, big closet with lots of hangers and shelves, right beside elevators.  Read entire member review.

Never Again! by thepplking
Stateroom: Very hard beds. We had to request extra padding for the beds two times so we could sleep. Clean, but we did find a pair of black panties under the bed on day five that did not belong to either of us. Also, if you select a cabin with a balcony, be careful where it is located on the ship. The balconies near the front of the ship where we were located had a more confined view than the others located amidships. Smoking was our number one complaint. Every time we returned to our stateroom it reeked of smoke and it was not from the cabin steward. We had smokers in the rooms on both sides of our cabin and it was nasty. We could not believe that NCL still allows smoking inside the staterooms! Especially when they make a point of telling you during the first lifeboat drill that FIRE is the NUMBER ONE Danger aboard a ship! DUH!  Read entire member review.

Small balcony but there was plenty of room for all our "stuff".  Read entire member review.

Nice balcony, decent sized room for three people, comfortable beds (even the sofa bed), tiny bathroom. Above the promenade and near the theater, so slightly loud when shows would get out.  Read entire member review.

room was overall a good one. the bed which is 2 twins pushed together, kept coming apart sometimes. little cabinet space. this is a corner room so we only had one other cabin to our right. hallway did get a little noisy sometimes and you could even hear people running above use but at night it was quiet. the balcony is very small but it's the shielded kind so we had no noise, wind or sun hitting it. we quite enjoyed it by sitting on the 2 chairs and reading. pillows are European style which is wonderful :)  Read entire member review.

The balcony suite we had was typical of a cruise suite. Other than smelling smoke from the people next door when on the balcony, there were not complaints about the room itself.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was perfect for us. We had a balcony and had no issues at all. Tv worked fine, bathroom was good too. It was tiny but they all are but our bathroom had a seperate are for the actual toilet which was pretty cool. Location was mid ship on the 10th floor and quiet. Elevators were a little crowded but the steps are easy enough.  Read entire member review.
