Cabin was located near the forward elevators. Sometimes in the evening we could hear the music from the Carosel Lounge wharfing up the stairway but it didn't bother us. I liked the location so close to the elevators and stairs. Lots of storage space within the cabin. There seemed to be a lot of cubbyholes to store stuff. We had 3 people in a cabin and had no problems storing all of our stuff. Read entire member review. |

Great storage, bathrooms not as small as expected. Space under the beds was enough for our largest suitcases. Can sunbath on balcony. Odd RV-style latrine smells when the balcony door is left open (pulls air from the rest of the ship somewhere). Read entire member review. |

Perfectly nice stateroom, on the small side but manageable for three people. My only complaint would be the sleeper sofa bed, which was three quarters hard as a rock, and the bottom quarter was squishy. The balcony is slightly enclosed due to being so far forward, but it wasn't a problem for us. Read entire member review. |

Spotless, good layout, plenty of storage. Shower was large enough to maneuver in adequately. Decor seemed a bit dated. Room steward was extremely efficient. Read entire member review. |

We were in room 9508, an forward balcony on the NCL Star.
There were just two of us in the room.
We had plenty of storage space. The bathroom was a little tight, but not unexpected. The staff was accommodating to remove anything we didn't need in the room (coffee pot, mini-bar items).
Only one electrical outlet to plug into, however (we came prepared with an adapter to expand). We would have like more more UNDER the bed to store our larger suitcase. Small suitcase fit ok, but large one would not.
Noise from outside or the neighbor cabins was not an issue. We met our neighbors next door and across the hall and had no issues. The balcony was large enough to enjoy. Signage on the ship was adequate to find our way as well.
No complaints, we already have book our next two cruises, on NCL of course :) :) Read entire member review. |

Quiet because it as so far forward (and a hike from the elevator), enclosed balcony (at the expense of the view), smoky when smokers are next door, broken closet that they attempted to fix and didn't successfully. Railing was peeling and the glass was missing parts of brackets. TV was maybe 13" and we couldn't hear announcements in the cabin unless we had the TV on channel 2.
Bathroom was larger than expected and one of the few bright spots. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 10538 was a little on the small side. The beds were ok after adding the egg-crate mattress pad. Te balcony was a little small, with just enough room for two-chairs and a small table. The bathroom was, well, a cruise ship bathroom. The shower was of for a big guy like me, but i preferred the showers in the spa. the toilet area was separated by a sliding door that made getting up and down on the toilet a bit of a squeeze. Closet space was small as well, just enough room for hanging clothes, but very limited room for small stuff. Storage of suitcases under the bed was fine. Read entire member review. |

Cabin -- We had a balcony cabin on deck 9. The cabin was adequate in space (for a cruise ship). It included a small 'desk', 2 twin beds pushed together to make a king (note-the space between the beds can get uncomfortable if you like to sleep close), a small dresser area with three drawers, a numerical combination safe, and a closet with 4 shelves. The bathroom had a walk-in shower with glass door. The toilet was in a separate area with a sliding door. Unfortunately, if you are a person of 'substance' navigating the narrow opening into the toilet can be tricky (especially during nighttime bathroom visits). We heard, and a couple we were traveling with, had some difficulties with this narrow space. Also important to note is that the bathroom does not have any bar soap. There is liquid soap available (the shower has both a liquid shampoo and body wash dispenser) but if you like bar soap, you better bring some. There were no other bathroom amenities available. Our room steward was adequate; he had limited personality (never spoke with us when he saw us unless we initiated it) and had days when he forgot things (ie. One day there was only 1 towel, one day no ice, etc.) Read entire member review. |

9710- nice bathroom. roomy for 2 people but a 3rd person, it may become cramped. it was great for just the 2 of us. There was some outside noise of people carrying on in the halls late at night. but nothing major and it was just the people, not the location of the cabin itself. Read entire member review. |

Bed was way too firm, tv was older box model, floor to ceiling sliding door was lovely, view was beautiful on the balcony, air conditioning was not cold enough, cabin steward was outstanding. Read entire member review. |

While smaller than cabins on other ships, it was well designed with plenty of storage space and hangers. It was clean and the cabin stewart,Sharek, was excellent. Read entire member review. |
