Cabin was fine. There were 3 of us, and after turn down it did feel like that the room was one big bed. Balcony is real nice - our first time having one. Ample room and nice to have fresh air in the room all the time.
Location on ship is good - about halfway between forward and midship stairs/elevator - so quick to get to buffet and theater/casino. Read entire member review. |

good sized closet, nice balcony, good location in hallway, close enough to elevators to be accessible but not so close that we had traffic. Read entire member review. |

The room was clean, seemed to have new carpets, etc. I did have to put a couple of paper shimmies into the ceiling and wall to try to make it a little quieter. The drain in the sink was broken. It was hard to remove the plug without a tool. Read entire member review. |

Cabin location was ideal. Just across from the internet cafe so it was very quiet and midship made an easy way to either elevator. Read entire member review. |

Nicely located near the foraward stairs and lifts. Didn't notice any noise from passers by given the location. A good choice. Read entire member review. |

We had a balcony room (Category BB, 9th deck, Rm 9612) and really liked the location. It was on the same level as the internet caf which was great for us. It was relatively centrally located and not too much rocking. It reminded my wife of an RV. The bathroom was small, but adequate with liquid soap and shampoo and a bottle of lotion. The shower was a Grohe more typical of a European hotel (separate temperature (in C) and volume controls). The bed was tolerable, but not very comfortable, even by hotel standards. There is a small hotel safe, but we couldnt open it, so we never used it. The view of the mountains while on the ship is nice, but not spectacular since the ship is so far from land.
They do housekeeping twice per day. In the evening, we got a bulletin with the next days events. We also got a towel folded into a cute elephant.
You hear lots of safety messages at the beginning. It may sound old, but is valuable for new cruisers, e.g., dont burn candles or throw cigarettes overboard.
It was nice to have a balcony room in two ways: (1) it was fun to take pictures of the ports as we came into port, and (2) being between Floors 8 and 11 means we didnt have to walk too many stairs to get to things. The restaurants are on Decks 6, 7, 8, and 12, the shows are on Deck 12, and the pool, fitness center, and sports activities are on Decks 12, 13, and 14. The wireless hotspots were on Decks 7, 8, 9, and 12.
We found one US and one UK electrical receptacle. Bring a power strip and/or extension cord and maybe a foreign adapter if you plan to charge more than one item.
There is no self-service laundry on the ship, but plenty of places to hang clothes, so you can do laundry in the sink, pay for NCL to do it, or bring enough clothes for the whole trip.
If you plan to drink alcohol, you are stuck buying it onboard, but if you plan to drink soda, buy some in the originating city to bring on board. Otherwise, learn to drink water, juice, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Read entire member review. |

Our cabin was 9658 and was a connecting cabin to 9060. We traveled with another couple so it was nice to open the door when we wanted and close it when we wanted. We loved the separate poop room so I could shower while hubby did his business. The cabin was laid out nicely but seemed a bit smaller than other balcony cabins we have stayed in on other lines. The bed was not very comfortable but the pillows were great. It would be nice if they updated the T.V.'s to something bigger and not so old. We did not incur any noise from other cabins or hear any music from anywhere. The only noises we had to deal with was the loud creaking of the cabin when we were in 12-18 foot swells for 3 days. Just bring ear plugs and you should be fine. We would stay in the same room again for sure! Read entire member review. |

Balcony stateroom, Rather compact but clean had to have bedcover changed as spotted dryed blood on it,not ours. The higher you go the more ships movement you feel this was the case on deck 10.Running cold water was warm. Read entire member review. |

The room - Our room was available immediately so we went upstairs and dropped our cary-ons off in our room and started to check things out. The bathroom configuration was different than on the HAL balcony cabin. HAL had a tub/shower combo where NCL only had an elongated shower. It was nice to have the glass shower door instead of a shower curtain however. The room appeared and felt "smaller" than the HAL rooms we had been in before (VD on the Oosterdam and an A on the Rotterdam) but it was cozy and nice. From my estimates the room was physically narrower than the HAL rooms and the different bathroom configuration made the room less deep from the HAL equivalents. The balcony was just deep enough for the two chairs to sit on an angle (no lounges could work here) with a small drink table. The TV in the room was a 9" Tube TV, so NCL hasn't made the upgrade to flat panels in all their rooms yet. Also HAL had a DVD player in both our rooms - I guess you have to be a suite customer to get this on NCL. There was only one 110 AC outlet in the room and one in the bathroom (so two total). If you need more than that, then bring a travel converter as the rest of the ship appears to primarily use the European plug style. The other advice would be to bring some sort of power strip.
This room is configured to have 3-people, and the couch is a hide-a-bed. However, it is more that the hide-a-bed folds into something that resembles a couch. Not very comfortable as a couch, but we didn't have the opportunity to use it as a bed. Overall the room was great, and I really enjoyed having the balcony! Read entire member review. |

Our Cabin was beautiful. The ship is 10 years old but the room did not show it. It was well kept and the scenery from the balcony was incredibly beautiful. The accommodations are small but everything is put together well and you really don't miss the space. The bed was king size and comfortable. The balcony was not huge but big enough for us. Cabin in a great location, just aft of the aft elevators. No problems with noise, and easy access to the public areas at the rear of the ship. Read entire member review. |

Small Balcony - two is a crowd if you get my meaning. Small toilet area and always felt cramped in bathroom. Cabin has good closet space and many places to store and tuck your belongings. Read entire member review. |

A bit noisy, as the Market Cafe was directly above, but we liked the fact there were no neighbors aft of our room. Good size for two, but more would have been an issue. Read entire member review. |

9080. Wonderful. Adequate size. Nice location. Comfortable balcony. (We never did get accustomed to the hallway signage. Entering the hall from the Forward elevators, the Arrows on the directional sign in the hallway -although correct - seemed to point in opposite direction from the one we wanted to walk).
