Cabin was a family cabin with large master bedroom and bath, then a separate kids/in-law suite and a shared kitchen and balcony. It is on the port side and was very quiet. Read entire member review.
We were upgraded to a family suite, SJ category, suite #12016, on Deck 12. A very quiet location, close to the library.
We absolutely loved this cabin. The space was over 400 sqft with huge bathroom, double sinks, bathtub, shower, tiled floor, and 4 sets of separate closet space. The living room and bedroom were extremely huge and could be divided by a wooden partition from the sitting area and dining area. There were also 2 sets of night tables, one at the foot of the bed that I used to store papers and shoes. There was also a huge oblong wooden table in between the sofa and 2 plush sitting room chairs. A most comfortable room with 4 huge panes of glass to enjoy the beautiful sea down below. The best view we've ever had. We spent many hours relaxing in our most comfortable room, not bumping into one another any where. Would love to get the same cabin again. Read entire member review.
12016 or 12018 Great size rooms, plenty of closet space and drawer space, closet lights up if you open the door all the way. Closet doors have to be closed to get to the bathroom which is only a mild annoyance. Murphy bed is comfortable as is the queen. We did not use the sofa pull out but was comfortable for sitting. good TV. Love the rain shower head.Tub OK. Refrigeration works best if you leave the outer door open and the glass closed. It creates to much heat and nothing will get cold other wise. Bring some small bungee cords to hold the curtains back. sliding door tracks can be rough on the feet so watch out. We pulled the couch over it once. Be careful pushing the sliding doors back into their little box and don't catch your fingers, ouch! Read entire member review.
It took my breath away at how big and bright our cabin was. It had floor to ceiling windows on one full side. I was thinking that it would be perfect for an Alaskan cruise so you didn't have to be out in the cold to see it all. All I had booked before was inside, so you can imagine my delight at the size of the family suite. It is in the part of the ship were the Spinnaker used to be, so everything is brand new. We had a large screen TV with a dvd player and more storage than my DD and I could ever use. I especially liked the look, the colors are dark wood and really soft tan carpet. I set up the M&G, so when we did the cabin crawl, we had about 25 people in the cabin and there was still plenty of room! The cabin has a King bed that you can pull a solid wall across on one side and a curtain across on the end. In the dining area, there was a Murphy bed that my DD slept on. That had curtains that pulled all the way around that area. The lounge area had a sofa that pulled out into a bed, a coffee table and two chairs with great view! The closet area had closets all along both side of the "hall" to the bathroom. The bathroom had a separate shower with a body spray and rain shower head, and tub also with a body spray. There were 2 sinks with storage drawers by each. Here are the links to the videos my DD took of the cabin. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdVP5AA52wY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEpPoTEZguU I can't say enough about NCL's suite life!!!!

Huge room, plenty of closet and drawer space. Only drawback was no balcony but LOVED the size of the room overall. Slightly noisy overhead from deck 13 foot traffic, but would not prevent me from booking the room again! Read entire member review.
Great handicapped room with raised commode and wheelchair accessible shower. Ample room for disabled passengers. Bed was very firm and uncomfortable for us. Stewards and Butler were the best ever. Read entire member review.
Our stateroom was handsome, modern, and roomy. The wall of floor to ceiling windows gave a real WOW factor. The room sported a dining room table with four chairs, a sofa, 2 upholstered guest chairs, a coffee table, and queen sized bed. The asian motif was sleek and stylish, the bed linens were of high hotel quality thread count. There were more pillows than I could ever imagine putting to good use! The pod style coffee/tea maker (FREE) was a nice bonus, especially since cruise ships typically have bad coffee (not sure why). We were please to find a filled fruit bowl, a bottle of champagne, a bottle of wine, and a bottle of Aquafina all complimentary. I'm not entirely sure if we received these goodies because of our past-cruise history or because they come standard in a suite (first time).
The bathroom was especially swanky: heavy glass shower (separate from tub), deep albeit narrow soaking tub, high-end hansgrohe fixtures, twin sinks, tile floor, shaving mirror, scale (unused but a nice touch regardless). While maybe not as spacious as my bathroom at home, a rather respectable size indeed.
A real bonus: storage galore. There's a walk-thru closet (on the way to the bathroom) with 4 armoires for hanging-up clothes, drawers along the vanity in the suite, drawers in the bathroom, drawers in the night stands (with some of the cleverest reading lamps I have ever seen!), and more drawers at the foot of the bed. No noise. The room is forward of the jogging track on deck 13. On deck 13 above is the quite hot tub for adults only. Great view. No balcony because this was added to increase the size of the room. when you go aft down the hallway to the pool it exits onto the smoking deck. I would suggest the other side of the ship because that side is no smoking. Read entire member review.
12518. Gorgeous and spacious family suite. Best bathroom size and amenities of any ship before. Will be mostly inclined to choose suites in the future. Read entire member review.
12518 Great family suite location with wonderful window wall. Take a necktie or something to tie the center curtains together to clear more window space. We had four adults in the suite and although we over packed there was plenty of storage. With proper packing if necessary 6 compatible people could share this suite without a problem. Cabin 12520 is a Family suite and is located on the Port side of the ship, 6 rooms down from the Library and right at the forward elevator bank. It was very convenient when using the elevators as the forward elevators are not as busy and you can obtain one fairly quickly. The cabin is very large compared to a balcony or mini suite; it is probably larger then most hotel rooms. As you enter on the right is a hallway into the bathroom, which contains his and her closets. There was plenty of closet space and storage for everything my wife brought. The bathroom has a good sized glass enclosed (with glass door) shower that is big enough if you drop something and bend over to pick it up your buttocks does not hang out of the shower. There are two sinks so you can both get ready at the same time, and a deep bath tub for a good soaking. There are plenty of drawers in the bathroom to store more then what we brought with us, and used some of them for dirty clothing. We were not real happy with the hot water in the sinks, shower or bathtub. It seemed to come out at a trickle and took a long time to fill up the tub. I joked with my wife when she wanted to take a bath (every night) that she should start the tub hot water before we went to dinner so it was full when she finished the shows at night so she could take a bath. It wasn't really that slow, but did take a long time. The room its self has a long counter top along the wall opposite from the bed with many drawers and the fridge. Plenty of space for us to store things. The larger mirror hanging on the wall along the counter can be lighted and was excellent for my wife when applying makeup. There is a large flat screen TV on the same wall and is positioned very well in the room so you can see it from the sofa, cushioned chairs, bed, or the round table. The sofa folds out to a bed, and there is also a Murphy bed that comes down from the wall. The round table has 4 chairs, but we found if you are going to dine in your room there is really only enough room for the two of you to eat comfortably. The cushioned chairs were comfortable and are moveable so you can place them around the room as needed. There is a heavy wood coffee table in front of the sofa. I did not like the color of the fabric on the sofa, as it was gold with some kind of leaf pattern. It looked dated, but was clean. The bed was very comfortable and we had a foam mattress on top of the regular spring matters. The foam mattress was nice, but we found in the middle of the night we became very warm and credited the foam with retaining heat. There is a wall between the sofa and the bed that you can fold out and partition off the sofa from the bed. There are also curtains in the wall that you can pull shut so you have like a private cocoon for the Queen size bed. There is another curtain system that you can pull around that will go around the Murphy bed if you pull it down. The best feature is the plate glass windows that overlook the sea. I really enjoyed sitting on the sofa reading a book and watching the sea go by on sea days. The only draw back to the large plate glass windows is when the sea is rough. They creak like crazy and making it difficult at times to read. At night when they creaked I had to just put them out of my mind and concentrate on the rocking of the ship created by the rough seas. That put me to sleep and kept me asleep all night long rocking up and down, back and forth. Overall I really enjoyed the room and its size. I don't think I will be able to go back to a mini suite or balcony room after experiencing the size and comfort of a suite.

There was quite a bit of hallway noise as it is in a main thoroughfare to the pool area. There is noise from the running track overhead and the late night cleaning of the decks. The windows were very dirty. Read entire member review.

EXCEPTIONAL!!! Tastefully furnished with separate dining area and living area, wall mounted plasma TV, free DVD for your enjoyment. Abundance of storage space. Bathroom with double sinks, full tub and separate enclosed shower. This suite has a "bump out" so that inherent in it's design one can look forward and see the bridge. Therefore, it's an excellent choice for the Panama Canal. You can remain in your living area, relax, imbibe and watch it all through your floor to ceiling windows and when looking forward you witness the opening of the locks. Can't say too many positives about this suite!!!! I'd book it in a quick minute if I had the chance to do it again. Showed it to many other guests who were "thunder stuck". You won't regret booking this sweetie. Read entire member review.
Huge room for two people- have had a lot of smaller hotel rooms. Would easily handle 4 people. Handicapped accessible- very open layout and open bathroom. Great bank of windows. Edge of running track on Deck 13 is overhead, so there is some traffic noise starting early in the mornings. Tremendous amount of storage; we didn't come close to using all of it. Loved the Lavazza coffee machine! Read entire member review.
We selected a family suite, 12016. The room is large and has window walls but no balcony. The view is quite nice. There is an area for dining, an area with a sofa (makes into a bed) and two chairs. These spaces can be curtained off from the main bed/sleeping area. The bathroom is roomy with two sinks, a shower and a separate tub. There is plenty of storage everywhere plus an espresso coffee maker. The room was mostly quiet. In the very early morning, we heard footsteps above us as the crew began to prepare the pool area for the day. This suite came with a butler and concierge plus access to private dining in Cagney's for breakfast and lunch. We very much enjoyed the privileges. The concierge will make all your reservations, solve issues, etc. The butler brings a late afternoon snack daily, stocks the room with coffee, your favorite beverages, personally manages your room service orders, etc. Also, you get VIP embarkation and debarkation.
