JS 1340 was spacious - there were entire cabinets that we had nothing in! It was at least 50% bigger than the room we had once we got to Spain. Would be hard to go back to a balcony room. It was also perfectly situated toward aft - one flight of stairs up to Windjammer and right down 5 flights to Mozart dining room. Read entire member review. |

The Junior suite was big with a lovely balcony. But as the ship, the cabin and the furniture show signs of being old and worned. Rusty sunchairs.... Read entire member review. |

Our Junior suite was excellent, well located near the lifts by the dining rooms and only a flight of stairs up to the pool decks. Decent size balcony, lovely comfy bed, huge walk in wardrobe, tea and coffee facilities. Very well sound insulated, never heard a peak out of our neighbours.Would certainly pick this one again. The junior suite was big with a lot of storage...we didn't use half the area provided!! The only draw back is the balcony was small. Very nice that it was enclosed but very small area. Read entire member review. |

I was informed at time of enquiry/booking that the price I was being quoted for included a Junior Suite Stateroom, On arrival I was disappointed that our ocean view was approximately 50% obstructed by platforms and railings around the rear of the boat on our's and levels above us.
There was three of us sharing a room, the third bed is a sofa bed, it was well worn and had the stains to prove it.
The decor is dated and the bathroom is very compact & plastic.
The balcony has two Sun loungers with missing and broken straps and a Sun chair with footstool. The balcony furniture is made of plastic construction, there are no mattresses or cushions "to soften the blow"
We had a flatscreen TV with interactive facility, we could find out ship/cruise information from this or book room service. We were also provided with a coffee machine but this leaked, I requested a replacement but this was not forthcoming.
There is lots of storage facility, we were not disturbed by passenger noise, the air conditioning was good as was the bath/shower water pressure. Read entire member review. |

More room than I had expected in the cabin. Wish I packed more clothes. It was not spotless, but I did not feel it was gross. Read entire member review. |

this junior suite has lots of storage areas and a large walk in closet. The balcony was wide but not very deep. There was a structural beam dividing the view. There was a full tub/shower combo and lots of room to maneuver in the bathroom. This was a very well maintained suite. Read entire member review. |

The type of room (Junior Suite) and location (midway between elevator transports) worked well for us. It was easy to get to the gym, the windjammer and pretty much anywhere else on the ship. We had no rooms across the hall and never had any issues with noise or high traffic. A JS category room has a great amount of storage including a walk-in closet and plenty of storage along the wall in the main part of the cabin. The balcony is double the size of other standard balcony rooms which was also nice. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 9272 - awesome cabin! This is a junior suite. Well worth the money for three or more people. Closet is huge, lots of storage space, huge balcony, full size tub. The sofa bed makes into a huge queen/king size bed for the kiddos. Deck nine was extremely quiet, and it was only a short walk up to the lido deck. It was very quiet on this deck, and we hardly felt any ship movement - even though it got rough on a couple of the days. Read entire member review. |

I had a great, quiet location. Thank goodness because the ship was over taken with rude children. The bathroom was spacious and had a tub. The closet was a spacious walk in. The cabin was excellent. The view from the balcony excellent. The balcony was spacious and even had a lounge deck chair on it. The bed was very comfortable. Read entire member review. |

9308 was a very nice junior suite situated in the middle of the ship. We chose this because of previous experiences being directly under the pool area which can be noising at all hours of the day (think cleaning staff at 4 am!). Like most junior suites it was spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage space. Nice private balcony which was unique in that you could not see your neighbors (very nice). Salt has taken its toll on the glass on the balcony, however, so sitting and trying to see out was somewhat obstructed. But overall well worth the price differential from a regular balcony room. Cabin 9318 is a center hump Junior Suite. It had more than enough space for 2. The great things were the walk in closet, the bathtub, and huge balcony. It's in the perfect location too ... right next to the elevators. A very quiet cabin. Read entire member review. |

This room was great. It's on the "Hump" so you jut out a little. The balcony was private and spacious. The room overall didn't have any issues. It was a standard Junior Suite and we loved it. Read entire member review. |

9328: The cabin is larger than the most of the Junior Suite Cabins. The balcony was small. IF you want a huge balcony book the AFT rooms. The room is looking old and worn it. Lots of storage! Walk in closets, sofa and two chairs. Wider than most J.S. Read entire member review. |

9330 is a junior suite behind the "hump." It has a large walk-in closet with tons of hangers and shelves. The vanity area is quite large, good sized frig, more drawers than we knew what to do with, sofa, coffee table, 2 chairs, and a door connecting to the next cabin if you doing the family thing. Balcony was great with 2 chairs, 1 small table, and 1 lounger, and still lots of room to stand and move around. The windows and sliding door WERE the wall; plenty of light, but also blackout drapes and then a sheer curtain for privacy. The bathroom had a tub/shower; good water pressure. Sink faucet had very little pressure; water saving faucet I believe. Toilet set at angle, so you had to sit sideways; okay, whatever. Beds were comfortable, but pillows mushy. We got 2 more from the steward without problem. 2 robes were already in the room. Cabin close enough to the elevators but not too close to hear any noise. It was a large cabin. Spacious and comfortable. In good maintenance shape as of 10/08. Close to elevators but noise not an issue. Bow waves break 8 stories below so louder "water sounds". Read entire member review. |

Lots of storage space, actually more than I have at home! Lots of room and it's very bright and airy. The only thing I didn't particularly like was that the trolley that the stewards work from seemed to be permanently parked outside our front door. This wasn't a noise issue or anything, it was just when we opened our door it was the 1st thing we saw. Also when walking along the otherwise empty hallways, we could always tell where our room was as it had the 'dumpster truck' outside it!
But it was a small niggle, I wouldn't want to put people off if they've booked it already, but it may be something to consider if you are trying to pick your room. Read entire member review. |

We had cabin 9624, which is a junior suite on the port side at the back of the hump on deck 9, and cabin 2320, which is an accessible ocean view cabin on the starboard side of deck 2.
The junior suite 9624 was spacious enough for 2 with a walk-in closet and plenty of storage cabinets. We had the bed divided into two twins. There was a wall unit with a desk and vanity across from the beds. There was a night stand with a drawer for each bed plus the vanity had three drawers on each side. The vanity also had hinged mirrors on each side with shelves behind the mirrors. There is a curtain that can be closed to partially block the bed area from the sitting area. The sitting area has a couch, two chairs, and a coffee table. The couch can be pulled out to make a double-bed if needed.
The bathroom had a tub, sink, and the toilet. There is a mirror with shelves on each side above the sink plus a shelf under the sink for storage. We received some travel sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body gel, and a box with Q-tips and cotton balls in the bathroom. There was also a dispenser with the typical Royal Caribbean generic soapy goo in the bathtub. We didn't use the provided toiletries so I don't know if they get replenished during the cruise.
The desk had the TV and a few cabinets for storage plus the "fridge" for the mini bar and the safe. We put the sodas and snacks from the mini bar on the desk so the bar attendant would know where the items were and used the fridge for our sodas and water. There was a small coffee maker and hot pot for boiling water for tea in the desk cabinet.
The balcony had a table with 2 straight-back chairs and one reclined chair. The balcony is fully covered and is recessed into the structure of the ship. I haven't been on a balcony that was recessed like that so it had a cave-like feeling, but the recess made it extremely difficult for others to see into the balcony. The railing is also part of the structure, not Plexiglas like on other ships, so you cannot see through it when sitting down on the balcony. This was the first time that I didn't have a lounge chair on the balcony of a junior suite so I asked the cabin steward for one. He said they don't allow lounge chairs on balconies and if I brought one down from the pool deck, he would remove it. Very disappointing!!
I found the bed to be extremely hard, which is typical for Royal Caribbean beds. The cabin steward was able to provide a foam pad, which helped but still too hard.
We discovered that the rumors about not providing ice on Adventure are true. We had no ice bucket in the cabin when we arrived. We asked the steward about the ice bucket and ice and were told that ice was a special request. Once requested, he provided ice twice a day, but new cruisers would probably not know to ask for it.
I had a diamond gift basket in the cabin. When I sailed on Liberty in December, I got a basket with cookies, trail mix, and dried fruit. This time there were only cookies and dried fruit. I'm not sure if the lack of trail mix was a change to the basket or if I got a better basket in December because I was in a grand suite rather than a junior suite. Grand suites get chocolates left during turn-down but junior suites do not.
The ocean view cabin 2320 was larger than normal to allow for wheelchair space. The bed was divided into two twins. There was a wall unit with a closet and vanity across from the beds. The vanity had the TV and two cabinets for storage plus the "fridge" for the mini bar and the safe. The vanity also had hinged mirrors on each side with shelves behind the mirrors. The sitting area had a couch and a coffee table. There was a night stand with a drawer for each bed plus the vanity had three drawers on each side. The closet was small but adequate for two people.
The bathroom had a roll-in shower, sink, and the toilet. There is a mirror with shelves on each side above the sink but no shelf under the sink for storage. There was a dispenser with the generic soapy goo in the shower. Read entire member review. |
