No Fishing Rods Please. by stephenrhodes

Fantastic, bath, walk-in wardrobe, balcony which I could look left and right from, massive comfortable bed, good decoration, tea and coffee, hair dryer...etc.

Our cabin on 1557 on deck 10 was clean and comfortable. There was enough wardrobe space for a family of 3 and the beds were lovely and comfy.

Our Grand Suite (1568) was nice but close inspection revealed lots of little issues that need looked into. (Curtains poorly hung, shower temperamental, torn and worn valance around bed.) We wold have expected more luxury given the price of a Grand Suite!

Small but functional. No complaints. Close to lifts and facilities. Dead end at one end so less passing traffic. Room attendant was exceptional!

We had no complaints on our cabin.  Actually, this was the best cruise shower on any of our cruises we've taken!  Read entire member review.

Good would ask for it again - see above. No excessive noise .

Mostly quiet, pretty far forward so a lot of crocking

Nice cabin. Perhaps a little tired decor-wise but clean and adequate. Bathroom a bit small and not enough Wardrobe space. Balcony was a bit tatty. We did ask for the sheets to be changed as they were marked and this was done without question. No noise and no problem with movement when we went through a rough patch of sea one evening.

Cabin was clean, furniture worn, plenty of storage. Great location! close to forward elevators.  Read entire member review.

We had an inside cabin 6581 which over looked the Promenade deck. It was mid ship , port side(left). Good location, didn't feel like an inside cabin.  Read entire member review.

Good views over the ocean. Clean and presentable. Only draw back is it was an old style balcony with a metal surround (no see through balcony).

Near lifts but not noisy at all. Near to everything but perhaps 7th deck would be right in the middle in terms of going up and down - we didn't use the elevators and sometimes going up the Windjammer seemed a little far. The upper floors have glass rather than metal sides but the metal did not spoil my enjoyment.  Read entire member review.

The cabin was ok no tea making equipment, poor balcony furniture, an odd shape bed, draws that needed the attention of a carpenter, a TV out of the arc, if they put in flat screens then it would have made more room, the ships info second hand  Read entire member review.

Balcony is steel so you need to stand up to get a good view from it. Queen size bed with a sofa that can be used for extra person. Good position in the aft, very few people walk past so fairly quiet. Located near service area but we were not troubled by this. Located above dining room but no noise heard.

The junior suite itself is ideal for family of three. However, the guest relations management on board this ship is a big joke.

Bigger than expected. Had adjoining staterooms, and for 7 of us it was great. Cabin steward was fantastic.

We had an aft cabin on deck 7. Although it is a long walk from the elevators (which we liked), it was quiet and a perfect location. We loved the extra big balcony. We no problems with soot or engine noise that I've read about on these boards. We really enjoyed the view from the back of the ship; however, this class of ship has the metal structure across the back. It didn't bother me, but it might some people. I loved the vibration and the rocking while in bed at night (not sure if it was because the cruise was a little rougher than others I've been on or if it was the cabin location)  Read entire member review.

Excellent cabin. Huge balcony. A little far from the elevators but that helped us walk off all of the food. Great storage space.

Saving grace for us. Beautiful stateroom; kept spotlessly clean. Very spacious with plenty of storage and a sofa for extra comfort. Better than sitting on the bed to watch TV. Tea and coffee supplied with a kettle was nice.

Nice room, kept very clean, even with the 4 of us it was fine, we had two pullman beds for the kids.

Our state room had a balcony and was spacious and well equipped. The beds were really comfortable. Only thing missing was tea/coffee making facilities but we took our own travel kettle. Spotlessly clean and serviced twice a day.

Nice location with only cabins above and below and little foot traffic being towards the end of the corridor.

It has two additional pullman beds that pop out of the room and can be folded away against the wall during the day, though our daughter preferred it to be kept up all day.

The twin beds at ground level can be pushed together to form a double bed. You may have the double bed in use at the same time as the pullman beds, as their ladders can go off the front as well as the side. Unlike at least one newer ship of P&O - Azura where they won't permit you to have a double and pullman.

We managed to squeeze three suitcases under the bed and had enough storage for the three of us in the cupboard. Draw space was a little lacking. Bathroom did the job and the shower had room to use comfortably and a decent water flow.

We were on Deck 8  cabins 8228 and 8230, toward the bow of the boat on the starboard side.  It was a quiet location, although there were little children near us, we didn't hear them.  The cabin crew was terrific!  Each of our cabins had a balcony, but the terrific heat outside precluded us from using them.  Our bed was too close to the glass doors of the balcony, so I bumped into it every time I got out of bed.  There was a standard toilet, shower and vanity with an adequate medicine chest.  We had plenty of storage space.  We didn't use it all.  I can't say we stayed in our cabin much, but when we did, it was ok.  I guess we were near the crew space, but I wasn't aware of them being there.  Our cabin attendant, Errol, was extra special, and we took extra good care of him at the end of the cruise. If only the boat didn't rock from side to side so much, I would have been a lot happier, especially at night.  Read entire member review.

Inside cabin: not as well designed as Princess. The couch was a nice touch, but was wasted space. I would not recommend this room for 3 people. On the other hand, Princess's interior rooms are fine for three people.  Read entire member review.

Fantastic in Every Way by LewisFamAdventurers
8354 balcony cabin just right for us! Very little movement felt; no noise. Liked the curved shower doors (not curtains). Mirrors in the bathroom and desk area were well-lit. Could have used more drawer space. There were only 2 of us and the drawers were absolutely stuffed. But the closet was spacious. If there had been 4 of us in there, it probably would have felt very crowded. There were helpful cupboards above the safe. Could not see into neighboring balconies. Not close to the elevators, but not too far, either. Located near the lobby with the Internet computer room, one floor up from the library. Needs more electrical outlets.  Read entire member review.

Pretty standard, nothing leapt out to make it better or worse than any others we've stayed in. Bed a bit hard, and fold out bed the teenagers had was very uncomfortable, but this was sorted by our steward putting some extra duvets under the sheets to act as padding and soften things up a bit.

Adventure Delivers! by weatherguy

This stateroom has an obstructed view of the promenade, obstructed by the vertical ornamentation that rises through 5 decks, from deck 3 to deck 8. Noise from parades and other music playing in the promenade on deck 5, from the English pub, CAN be heard at nighttime, sometimes up to about Midnight or so. Ways to cope: Bring a sound machine, or stay up late with the party music. Alternatively, if you're sensitive to noise, just don't book a promenade cabin stateroom. The safe swings out awkwardly towards the side, to where the clothes are hanging, and NOT face-on.

Large, lots of storage space, walk in wardrobe, bath and shower. Also comes with tea/coffee, kettle and coffee machine. It is just missing a few special perks and touches to justify the suite catagory.

We where disappointed with the very tired staterooms stained carpets, furniture badly needing replaced, bathroom and shower facilities requiring attention and the entire cabin requireing some TLC.

New TV in cabins but 25% you had no TV programs at times with a very bad reception thats ok when its nice outside but when wet and cold :(
very difficult to get reception on the internet not good especially when you have purchased the overpriced WiFi package

The stateroom attendant was very disappointing not engaged as we have experienced before and we had to sort out our own tissues toilet paper along with show Gell not being filled on our arrival just really lacking that TLC

9692 is nice. This is an aft cabin with a large balcony. None of the aft cabin balconies on this ship have any privacy. NONE. Our balcony was in clear view of the balconies above and below us. The ones beside us could easily peer around the divider wall. Also, there are beams that wrap around the back of the ship that block your view.  Read entire member review.

Not Really Wowed by morecruise4me
Corner aft balcony cabin next to housekeeping space. There was always a housekeeping cart in front of our door. Long way from stairs/elevator. Balcony is odd shaped, slightly larger than average. Balcony has a swinging door and porthole instead of a sliding door.  Read entire member review.

good for adults... by lagunabaybie
We had a 2 bed stateroom with a window. It was perfectly sized with a great view. The bathrooms were expected, but the closet space was great. There were even shelves and hangers to help organize. Also there were multiple drawers to use as well as cabinets. Loved having a tv.  Read entire member review.

Not great! by ElmleyCastle

Reasonable size with a nice balcony. No lounger as standard on the balcony this year.
More cost cutting by the bean-counters? Very bad sewage smell in the bathroom, three visits from maintenance and it's still there!

We stayed in room 2546. It was on the second floor of the ship. We didn't mind being on a lower deck as we had quick access to the debarkation area for the ports. We also found that we felt more waves on higher decks than on ours. We had an ocean view room. The room was very small but we weren't expecting much as it was a last minute deal. The size of the window was decent. The closet was well organized and had enough space for clothes for two adults. There were also plenty of drawers as well. The bathroom was very small with not a lot of counter space. Our biggest complaint was the lack of any area/space to put our luggage so they ended up sitting on top of the sofa which limited the amount of usable space for us to sit in our cabin. The decor is a little dated but everything was clean. I wouldn't recommend this room for more than 2 people.  Read entire member review.

Got a balcony cabin on the 7th floor in the rear. Usually, I like the center of the ship but this was all that was left. I think it was 7815. Very spacious and no problem being in the back. Very quiet too.  Read entire member review.
