RCI's balconies are like boxes with a hole cut out. I prefer something more open, with more glass and less metal. We had a full-size couch, whcih was nice. Twice we had impromptu parties with 8-10 people and the room didn't feels crowded. RCI's curved shower doors are so-o-o much better than shower curtains. We had the same cabin as during the transatlantic crossing, so we had the same problem with the shuddering motion of the ship. Our cabin steward was fantastic, but unfortunately, as I have said in my comments the whole ship was just too packed with noisy, rude, ignorant guests. And this really ruined our trip. Overall a nice spacious cabin for two. Lots of space. We had lots of luggage for Europe and it all fit fine. The balcony furniture was awful though did not even want to sit on these chairs. Our cabin, 8330 was a very comfortable, clean & fresh smelling balcony room. I really liked that we didn't have a room directly across from us. The AC works very well in the room. We did not have any problems at all with our room. Our stateroom attendant was very nice and helpful. There is plenty of storage space in the cabinets, closet and under the bed. Small balcony, getting a bit tatty - the left hand side of the balcony had a kind of metal column so there was no clear divider to the next cabin, just sold metal but it didn't obstruct any view, may be a bit of day light. Beds very comfortable and enough room for 2. Bathroom kept spotless but again some areas tatty (there was a wine cork stuck in the corner of the bathroom then sealed up!). We loved our cabin. There was tons of space for clothes and toiletries. The balcony was just the right size for two. Beds were big and comfortable. Bathroom a bit dated, chips around bottom out-side of shower (to be picky) but otherwise clean and tidy with plenty of hot-water and clean towels. Carpet, better vacuuming required otherwise ok. Fridge/mini-bar clean. Clean fresh bedding. Balcony area - furniture a bit dated, again could do with renewing but chairs/table was serviceable. Bins always emptied.
