4160 Specifics: Our stateroom was in great shape when we opened the door. The view from our balcony was fantastic! If you were standing on the balcony and looked directly down, there were some pulley-type mechanics that might be a slight eyesore for some, but it didn't bother us. This particular stateroom was set up with the twin beds pushed together for myself and my husband. A couch that did not convert into a bed, and 1 upper located directly over the couch. We loved the couch & upper set up for two reasons - 1) The couch provided us with more area space for us to put our random stuff, and 2) our daughter was over the moon excited about the upper and not once did she have a problem sleeping in it all week. My only complaint about this stateroom (& apparently others) was that I loathed having the old tube television set - the picture was cruddy at best and I think the remote had seen better days. I think it's time that the Pride update their television sets to the flat screens and some new remotes, but other than this I had no other complaints about our room. In hindsight if it bothered me enough, I'm certain the staff could have found me a better working remote. I was concerned about our location being so close to the elevators and any noise that would bring. During the day and early evening hours we could hear kids carrying on here and there, but overall we had no trouble with noise (with the exception of the 2nd to last night details later) and I'm a fairly light sleeper. The other party traveling with us had room 4178. Their room layout was the same as ours except they had the convertible sofa and an upper. One other very small difference was that their balcony didn't have any pulley-type mechanics in their balcony view. We were all very pleased to have selected staterooms on the 4th floor/middle. Cabin #4171 - Great location! The windows looking down onto the Lobby were directly across from our door. We were near the elevators that take you up to the Mermaid Grill, which was very convenient. There was sufficient closet/storage space. Our balcony was the standard 40 sq ft but was big enough for 2 people to sit comfortably. Standard Carnival balcony cabin in a great location. Right above the dining room, so it is quiet at night, and near the back of the ship so not too much hall traffic either. There is a staircase about 5 cabins back that provides easy access to the exterior promenade one deck below. We noticed vibration at night, but not during the day.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 5265 was clean with a decent sized bathroom and plenty of closet and drawer space. Hair dryer is located in top dresser drawer and has a limited length cord - you have to hold button in all the time to make the hair dryer work which is sometimes difficult while also trying to style hair. location of cabin was very convenient to stairway leading down to Normandie dining room and only noise problems we had was from a group of young adults down the hall who came in very late and very loud many nights.  Read entire member review.

6192-great balcony. Near elevators. We did not experience much noise as some others have mentioned from people in halls. There was some mild vibrations when the ship was sailing at a faster speed, my husband thinks from motors, however this was not very disruptive.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was great, right in the middle of the ship. There was alittle vibration but nothing that made any of us sick. Our cabin was always clean. My boyfriend called them "cleanning ninja's" because we never saw them but everytime we returned- no matter what time of the day or night- the cabin was clean. Nice cabin, centered right in the middle of the ship, one level up was the Lido deck which was home for the buffet and pools. Real close to the elevators. Lots of storage space and very clean. While our cabin was right off of one of the main stairwell/elevator areas, it wasn't nearly as loud as we expected it might be. The room itself was nice although there were a few times that it got very warm even though the thermostat was turned all the way down. The biggest issue was that the balcony doors aren't sliders, so every time another cabin slammed their door (which isn't hard to do since they're very heavy doors), it reverberated throughout our cabin.
