Bahamas 2010 by Dundee51
Comfortable cabin with plenty of storage space. Safe was helpful; additional hangars would have beeen appreciated.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 5152 - cabin was very clean and comfortable. Ample closet space and drawer space for two people. The bathroom was a nice size for a ship and the shower was very refreshing. Beds were comfortable with clean sheets everyday. Rodney took great care of us. Didn't use the balcony because it was an obstructed view with a life boat hanging there. Still was able to see sunrises and sunsets and enjoy the sunshine and overall weather. They should replace the very old TV's soon. Other than that, one of the nicer cabins I've stayed in on any ship. Hallways were quiet except for occasional outburst of running by kids.  Read entire member review.

Nice cabin (5155) Clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. Very easy to get to venues. Nice shower. Obstructed view balcony was acceptable for the price. Nice to be able to step outside and my wife is a smoker. Room steward sucked! Better luck to you!  Read entire member review.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. Don't let the fact that it's an obstructed balcony discourage you, we had an awesome view and would definitely book this cabin again!  Read entire member review.

Pleasantly Surprised by pennst8mom
If you choose a cabin on deck 5 with an obstructed balcony, make sure that you do not have a cabin near the first three lifeboats. These boats are bigger, and would block your view. The lifeboats beyond the first three are level with the balcony floor, and they do not block the view.  Read entire member review.

We had an "obstructed" view cabin. Basically the lifeboat hung right below the floor of our balcony. Sitting in the chairs outside and looking straight out you could clearly see the water. However, looking down, you saw the boat. No big deal... afterall, how often are you sitting on the balcony? As for the room itself, we had a queen size bed & a sofa type thing. Limited TV stations (out of Denver.. go figure?) Plenty of cabinets, 3 closets, a vanity, filled mini-fridge. We asked to have it emptied so we could use it for drinks we brought with... no problem. Bathroom was a fair size. Just a stand up shower, toilet & vanity/sink. My husband is 6'8 and had no issue standing in the shower. Water pressure was great too! Ohhh and we liked the freebie dish in the bathroom... filled with razors, meds, toothpaste, etc. Came in handy :)  Read entire member review.

Avoiding lines! by Belcorn
Quiet location, small crowded balcony. Partially obstructed view was in between two lifeboats. It would have been better to be in the middle of a lifeboat instead of having the large boom that holds the boat in your view. Still perfectly good for the money. Would definitely get an obstructed view again but I would try in the middle of the boat instead. Bathroom terrific! Shampoo and bodywash dispenser in shower! Shower configured to feel larger. Shaving/make up mirror. Only one usable plug in the room! Bring an extension cord for multiple charging cords. Very good storage.  Read entire member review.

Pride cruise with Irene by hitnronandjulie
Our cabin #5227 was a 7A obstructed view. The cabin was of good size with more than enough storage. The bathroom well designed with plenty of room. The Balcony does have a life boat at the base, however looking out does have a great view. One little thing, it is time for Carnival to put a newer television in the room.  Read entire member review.

New Years Eve Cruise by scgirlatheart
This was a 7A cat. balcony room. The balcony was small, but we were still able to enjoy it. The room itself was well laid out and had plenty of storage.  Read entire member review.

Great balcony, very quiet and close enough to the aft elevators to make getting to the Lido and dining room really easy.  Read entire member review.

Great Bahama cruise by SKeighley
Balcony with an obstructed view but it was great for the cost and you could see out all the time just not down. We had the extra long balcony since next to us was the storage rooms. Plenty if storage space for all our belongings.  Read entire member review.

Obstructed balcony really no big deal. You cannot see down but view out to sea is just fine. Good location near elevators and Normandie Dining room.  Read entire member review.

The handicapped cabins are quite roomy. Be careful of the "emergencyy pull cord and push buttons. I accidentally set them off twice.  Read entire member review.

cabins 5164 - 5170 were fine. They were clean, a little small but well laid out, and we loved having the balconies even though they were obstructed view. The stewards here were great, couldn't have been better. No complaints at all.  Read entire member review.

lots of storage space.  Obstructed view balcony- cannot see down into the ocean.  Overall, clean and decent.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin (5237) was really nice. We had four people -- managed quite well with space. If you creatively use the under bed storage and keep your space organized and use closet space and cupboard spaces, you can manage quite well. Pull down and sofa bed were comfortable. Linens were nice and you had great control of room temps. Definitely stay with the balcony or better in terms of spacing because it made all the difference in the world to be able to go outside to sit. It was like an extra room in the room. Showers were much better than I expected. Good water flow. Bathroom had lots of nooks and crannies for storage.  Read entire member review.
