Comfortable, quiet room. Small TV in an awkward location -- I kept hitting my head on the TV shelf. Convenient to the Taj Mahal theater and Butterfly Lounge, just one deck below the Piazza Cafe. Plenty of storage. Read entire member review. |

For the amount of time we spent in our room (minimal) cabins were big enough and comfortable. Did not hear noise from casino or nightclubs but some engine noise/shuttering was noticed but was not bothersome. Room very dark would suggest bringing a electric clock for some light and since there is no window/light can be disconcerting when waking having no reference to the time or if is day or night. There is a hair drier, shampoo and body wash supplied. Only one outlet, about seven hangers , i left the ten I brought with me. Plenty of towels, ice bucket filled daily, a small frig filled with drinks (mini bar) extra cost for these drinks. 24 hour room service, food at no extra charge Never got a clear answer if water in bathroom is potable so filled glass with water from mermaids lounge to use for brushing teeth and taking dramine pills :-p Side note used pressure point wrist bands for motion sickness and they really seemed to work! Room 1127 not enough electrical outlets we had 1 in which I plugged in a surge protector multi outlet plug into it and it started to smoke. I unplugged it and called my Stewards office to let them know. They responded with don't plug it in. I ended up throwing it out because it burnt out the first time I plugged it in.
However we were able to use the outlet to charge our iphones with no problems thereafter.
Here is the lowdown on the room, bring a few extra hangers. There is 3 closets one closet just has shelves. One closet will have two nice robes and 2 lifejackets which is notvrequired to take to your muster station drill.
When you turn the lights off at night you will see light coming from the peep hole in the door. I used a tissue to block out the light.
The bathroom is small only one person in at a time.
You will find two small packets of toothpaste, two large packets of shampoo, 2 bars of soap one for the sink one for the shower.Plenty of towels and wash cloths.
In the room should be 2 towels to use at the pool. We did not use them only on the first day(don't lose the towels) they will charge you $22.00 per towel.
We did use the towels at the pool, you can check out as many as you need with your sail and sign card. There is no charge for using the towels. Only if you lose them. We did this everyday(check out towels) we didn't want to carry towels around from the room.
In the shower there is shampoo and body wash dispenser on the wall.
The water in the shower is thermostatically controlled.
You will feel the water temp change as the ship is moving along. I actually enjoyed the temp change from hot to cold on occasion.
The toilet seems to vibrate a little as the ship is moving, you can feel the ships engine vibration.
I also want to mention you will hear some noises from the floor above(casino). On a few nights the picture above the bed would vibrate but a little noise doesn't keep me from falling asleep.
The tv is old and the color is a little distorted. Read entire member review. |

My cabin steward was GEDE, and he knew our names the first day, cabin 1185 was always spotless. Great service. Read entire member review. |

Our cabin was really close to customer service, the shore excursion desk and the embarkation/debarkation area. There was always a loud humming sound in our room; not sure if that is room-specific or just the same sound in all the rooms on the first floor. Read entire member review. |

We were in the 'cargo hold' on deck 1, towards the back of the ship. It was a small but adequate room. The beds were comfortable and I didn't feel the rocking of the ship very much. Because there weren't any windows it was very dark which made it easy to sleep. The only noise I noticed was on port days for Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan as a lot of people came down the hallway to get to the gangway. Even that wasn't bad, however, because I was ready to get off early each day. Read entire member review. |
