One of the things that really worries me is that in the hallway there were a number of mobility devices which made it really difficult at times to get past. This has been gradually getting more cluttered each time we cruise on the Explorer. I don't know how other ships deal with this problem (as I see it.) When we heard of the problem with the ship in Europe tipping over I was wondering if this had been our ship would there have been a really big problem for people to try and get out of the ship? I think so!!!! These motorized wheelchairs and scooters should be stored in the room and not in the hallway at night. Our cabin was very affordable. It was a postage stamp cabin,but its location more than made up for its size. We were steps away from the Promenade Deck and the Cafe Promenade. The room was quiet, though, and celebrations on the Promenade never disturbed us. The closets were large and spacious. The little sofa was convenient. The bathroom had a semicircular shower stall that was very nice. Finally, the privacy curtain allowed me to get some sleep while my husband watched tv or read.  Read entire member review.

The cabin is directly next to crew space but was very quiet. I'd prefer to have no neighbors and be next to the crew space. Also, the hallway is secluded, private and quiet. I liked the location. The room has a new flatscreen TV, no sewage smell near cabin but sometimes the smell is near the elevators on this deck, the sink smelled like sewage on the first day, the faucet of the sink does not work very well, shower is great, furniture in good condition, comfortable bed, etc.  Read entire member review.

We had an inside cabin. An older, small (20"?) and big and clunky TV with very poor image quality, glad I am not a TV person. Good thing is their interactive program that allows us to check our account, that was when we discovered we were charged excessive amount for our internet usage when we still have money left in our internet package. We called the front desk, was told they would look at it, but we still had to visit the front desk to get it rectified. Not enough closet space to hang our clothing, its probably enough for only one person. Shower has curvy doors, better than shower curtain. Sink water pressure is too slow.
