cabin 6254 closet ample for 3 guests, balcony appreciated but rusty, balcony chairs old and dirty, balcony wooden railing splintery and unpainted or finished, quiet location, bathroom good size, toilet constantly smelled of urine, shower had a door not a curtain and always had hot water (!!!), beds (one queen, one overhead bunk) were clean and soft, pillows flat but stackable, towels ample and soft, overall room was good.  Read entire member review.

Great location mid ship. Ample storage. Quiet.

Our cabin was fine. Not very big, but adequate for two people. I don't think I would have wanted to add a third person. The balcony was wonderful. Small, but again, good enough for two people. The bathroom and shower were small, but served their purpose. Good location, not far from elevators and stairways. Never had a noise problem.  Read entire member review.

Explorer is due for an upgrade soon, but our cabin was in absolutely excellent condition. Balcony Cabin6554 is just above the Promenade but set far enough away that no noise filters up. It was a quick trip one deck down to the Cafe for drinks or quick snacks.

Cabin Steward was top notch and fulfilled all expectations.

6622....Amilcar was a great attendant. Perfect location by elevators and staircases. Our room was easily large enough for the two of us. Suitcases fit under bed easily, plent of closet and shelf space for clothes. The bed was labeled as a queen, but felt larger and great to sleep in. I loved all of the RCTV channels. I enjoyed learning about how the ships were built and restored from them. The balcony was definitely worth it. Shower in the bathroom was a bit small, but it did the job.  Read entire member review.
I had a great time! by loveandcruises
Cabin 6626: Great big comfy bed, nice flat screen TV, great air conditioning, great veranda.  Read entire member review.
Loved the Cabin 6628... Very Private Balcony!  Read entire member review.

I did not realize my balcony was 15 feet from the back of the ship or that the rear balconies get very little breeze.

THE SMELL by LizCtish
CABIN #7258 - Small but wonderful balcony. Noise control is great with the heavy sliding doors. Bathroom is tiny and I would have said okay except that the toilet overflowed and dumped raw sewage on the floor. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of storage space throughout the room. CABIN #1312 - Great balcony. Bed less comfortable than #7258. Nice sized room. Very good storage space. Close to the elevators, but you can't hear them.  Read entire member review.
First Time in Bermuda by LoveBritian
Quiet location, great view (faced Kings Wharf) plenty of space for 2 people.  Read entire member review.
Great view of NYC harbor, decent size, room for bags in corner by chair, comfortable, near stairs and elevators.  Read entire member review.
We had a balcony cabin--for three adults, it was small (expected) but had a good deal of space for storage--nooks and crannies--very well thought out. Towel animal scuptures every other night--were a fun addition--but I did miss not having chocolate on my pillow!  Read entire member review.
Great Balcony, Large comfortable bed, plenty storage. in an ideal location.  Read entire member review.

Good location, not far away from aft elevator and library. Old box TV with poor screen that we keep it turned off all the time. Good and hot shower. Plenty storage for 3 suitcases.

Great location, very quiet. I picked this cabin myself so I expected that based on where it was in relation to stairwells and distance from public areas on the ship. You are opposite the Promonade (view) cabins so if it is rocking with the big shows some noise could be heard.

Great balcony, Port side view, plenty of room.  Read entire member review.
Cabin 7654 - Balcony Room carpets were very stained. Beds were uncomfortable. Towards the back of the ship.  Read entire member review.
The balcony room was kept extremely clean all day, it was on the small size shower etc but OK... with so many balconies on the ship everyone seemed very relaxed... The pools and facilities are all clean and available...  Read entire member review.

Amazing balcony with aft view. The walk back was worth every second. Very quiet area of the ship. Felt some vibration. Near a crew stairway, but never saw (or heard)anyone use it.

Great Cabin....large aft balcony with architectural obstruction, but panoramic view was still very good. Balcony had table with two chairs and two lounge chairs. Sliding balcony door had a handle that permitted you to keep the door open partially or all the way.  Read entire member review.
Cabin 8256 Excellent location, great balcony, quiet  Read entire member review.

We always get a balcony cabin and we were not disappointed in this choice. It was not the biggest but for 2 people, was fine as we don't spend too much time in the room except to sleep and change, shower, etc. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

No complaints. We use the cabin to sleep in and the balcony to view the outside. Other than that, we are out and about most of the time  Read entire member review.

Cabin 8312 was very nice, reasonable size for 2. Toilet /shower good and balcony great. Very good location close to lifts. Always clean and well maintained.

great view from the center hump cabin. very near the aft elevators and stairways. yes, it could use a little painting, but that did not and will not ever ruin my vacation  Read entire member review.

8322 end of bump balcony, not a great view, thought it would be as good as middle of the bump. Location is excellent, we like being near the elevators; no additional noise like some might think.

8311 PR cabin, the view is of the elevators. It is above guest relations and the view to the promenade is obstructed.

I was in the Navy and anything above a war ship is good for me! Sorry  Read entire member review.
Closet space was adequate for the 3 of us (2 adults and 1 child). Liked that there was shelving inside closet. Though the drawers in the room itself were small we put them to good use and used the cubby space too. Loved having a balcony. Though we were forward we were close to the elevators and were just 3 quick flights of stairs down to the Promenade.  Read entire member review.
Cabin was roomy --with a still a tiny bathroom, but we didn't feel cramped. Good location on the ship--close to elevators but we didn't hear anything for guests or the elevators, only kids jumping around in the cabin above us. there is no conditioner in the bathrooms--be sure to bring some along.  Read entire member review.
The location was excellent. Right next to the stairs and elevator. Must have excellent insulation because when the door was closed it was very quiet and no noise from the elevator or loud promenade area. The balcony was not very useful but the large window was very nice. Great view of the sunrise or sunset. The room thermostat actually worked.  Read entire member review.

Plenty of storage, shower is a bit tight. An extension cord w/multiple outlets would be of value to anyone with many chargers.
Deck is small, but big enough for two.

Nice room, lots of storage, shower would hold some water but not a big deal.

Great central location, nice balcony, tiny shower.  Read entire member review.
Cabin is small but location is fine. Computers on the floor are far enough away to be quiet but close enough to be easy to use to go on line when you want.Balcony is also small.  Read entire member review.
8618 is a great cabin, close to the elevators and with great views from the balcony. It was the perfect size for 2 adults.  Read entire member review.
Our cabin was fine. For more than 2 people, it could get a little tight but for 2, no problem. The bed was very comfortable. The small couch was used mostly for dirty clothes. We were able to store 3 suitcases, 2 valet bags and 1 carry-on with no problem. Closet space was adequate. The TV was a little antiquated. The bathroom was manageable. BUT, I am 6-feet tall and wigh 195 pounds. If you are any larger than that, you may have a problem in the shower. It's a tight fit.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin for 2 people was ample in ever way. If i had to mention one thing it would be my other half is 6' 2 and the shower was a little crowded but doable. Closet space was good and also the balcony was good in size and very private with excellent views.

Room 8664....quiet, nice room. Needs updating. Getting a little "shabby".

Too much virbration! I may no longer (per my wife) book an aft cabin. Felt like the ship was going to split in half.  Read entire member review.
Great first cruise by WickedGarden
Our room was a stateroom with a balcony. The room was actually larger than I thought it would be. The king size bed was comfy. The balcony was okay, people next to us were smokers, but thats not RCI's fault. There was a door in the middle of our room to connect to the adjacent room, we could hear our neighbors talk pretty easily, but luckily they were only there for 2 nights since I think they got moved into that room. I would definitely get this room again  Read entire member review.

Were were in room 9244 it was very easy to get to right outside the elevators. We had a balcony room and it was definitely worth it. The room was very clean and we had plenty of closet space. We loved sitting on the balcony at night and most of the time when we were in the room we kept to door open so we could hear the sound of the ocean. the only issue I had with the room was that the bed was very hard I was expecting a much softer mattress.

Exploring the Explorer by star-gazing

Quite location but a long walk from the elevators (which I didn't mind but could be an issue for some). Great balcony.

Nice cabin but a little outdated. Storage in the rooms was more than what I thought we would get. Big closet, about six small drawers and cabinet space above the safe. Storage on each side of the mirror. Balcony was a good size, but we had to ask for a third chair, which make it kind of tight but it was still nice to be able to have your coffee on.  Read entire member review.
Nice cruise by brysk5

When travelling to Bermuda: this room has a balcony that faces New York. You can get great pictures of the statue of liberty in front of the New York skyline. It also faces the port in Bermuda. We enjoyed watching the ship dock and leave from our balcony. Quiet location.

Cabin 9690 is a port side aft balcony. It's a little wider than the other balcony cabins, and the balcony itself is large enough for two chairs, a small table, and two loungers. The railing tilts inward so you lose a bit of space, but there's plenty of room to stretch your legs under the railing and still get lots of sun

9392 on the aft - Long walk to EVERYTHING but a great balcony. Starting to show her age!!!!!  Read entire member review.
No big deal by C.Dogg

Our balcony cabin was efficient, but had little extra and was a little outdated. The large tube TV, leaking toilet and lack of comfortable seating were drawbacks, but nothing was worse than the incorrect instructions to operate the safe that were printed on the door.

Small closet but big enough for 2, quiet location, small bathroom.  Read entire member review.

Balcony Cabin Cat-E1 mid-ship
Not required on this Canada New England Cruise since it does get cold as you sail towards New Brunswick and Hailfax. so stick to the inside or outside and save your money
Cabin in very good condition despite the age of the ship although the carpet is a bit old. Plenty of closet space, great balcony, location a 2 minute walk to the elevators (no elevator noise). Can easily walk to the Palace Theater for the shows, however, the dining rooms were quite a walking distance

Very roomy cabin; the curved edges of the bed made it easy to walk around. Didn't care for the balcony design (a bit claustrophobic, walled-in feeling). Bathroom was efficient but design was a bit outdated.
