Cabin was fantastic, as was cabin service. Lots of closet space and cabinet space to place everything we brought for 11 days. Balcony was big and comfortable, even though it was a standard balcony. Very little noise was heard from hallways or crew workers.  Read entire member review.

Small but adequate balcony cabin. Good sized bed but extremely small shower. So-so closet size. Wish we had had a comfy couch instead of one that became a daybed. Very hard and uncomfortable. We ended up bringing in the balcony chairs for reading in the evenings before bed. Nice location mid-ship.  Read entire member review.

wonderful room with a great steward. would definitely book this room again. only one problem when they were washing down an above deck while in port in ketchikan. good thing we were not out there taking photos or we would have had our camera ruined. would like more towels in the room, but we always got an extra from the steward each evening.

the cabin was bigger than i expected. the shower...wow, pretty small, but doable. not used to this size of shower, but as a first-timer, i found it amusing. after the first two days i got used to how to move around so as not to bang into stuff.

Cabin facilities adequate if you aren't too fussy. Very very small - and it was not the cheapest. Odd (very odd) items of furniture were trip and hit hazards rather than being useful. Steward turned up at odd times.

Our cabin was on the 4th floor and situated perfectly! It had plenty of room for 4 of us. The mirror made the room feel and look larger since it was an inside cabin. The safe in the room made us feel secure and the TV was perfect before bed and while getting ready for the day. The shower was so strong that we didnt' need to stand in there very long to get the soap out. Makes a huge difference. Lots of closet and shelving for clothes. We were close to the Seven Seas restaurant, on the same section as the Buffet, Stardust Lounge, although many floor below. We took the stairs every chance we could and found out cabin was perfectly located to get to all the entertainment and food. We only had to walk a long hallway to get to the Gangway when disembarking at the ports but since that was on the 3rd floor, it worked out perfect for our quick disembarkment. The sea was very rough and my husband and eldest daughter got sick. Being mid-ship and on the 4th floor was perfect as we couldn't "feel" it rock as bad as the upper levels.

The cabin was adequate and clean...very comfortable, though while in bed, I could not quite see the TV as the TV could not turn enough to get good visibility. I was all in the placement on the mounting. Our Steward, Elizabeth was, once again, simply outstanding.

Our cabin was more than adequate, though the position of the mounting of the TV was so, we could not turn it enough to see the TV while on the bed without looking at the TV at an angle, diminishing whatever we were watching. Our cabin Steward was outstanding...Elizabeth knew how to take care of her clients and make us feel at home. We personally felt she was overworked as it appeared that there was minimal manning of the stewards across the ship to adequately take care of all the staterooms. Overall, we are more than comfortable and pleased with our stateroom (and part of this was due to the attitude of Elizabeth.

Fabulous Time on the Cruise, by Sojournersolstice

The cabin was ample size, but badly needed revamping. The sofa appeared worn and worse was badly soiled. The drawers had particles in them which I decided to clean myself. The bathroom was very small. I weigh less than 100 pounds and banged my knee twice. I loved where the stateroom was situated, deck six is near the two main restaurants and entertainment venues. Although the cabin was located next to the promenade, the curtains were heavy and prevented anyone from seeing in when closed. The view was still scenic from the cabin window and with the cold rainy weather, a balcony would probably have been unpleasant.

This cabin is roomy, the view is super with the nice big window, and there is PLENTY of storage,. There are drawers, shelves, and cabinets and there are even shelves in the bathroom (a fully self-contained bathroom, everything in one. Only complaint would be the couch is really HARD. Well, and my usual complaint of poor lighting for a reading person.

We had a balcony on the 8th deck. Our room was right about the Stardust Lounge, so early evening you had to hear loud music and feel the floor vibrate. There was also noise from the engine. Not enough to keep us awake, but definitely background noise. Our steward was wonderful, very attentive and helpful. Always willing to visit and remembered our names. It almost seemed like they had cameras to know when you were out of your room. They got right in when you left and cleaned your room. He left ice for us several times a day. Service for the room was great.

Amazing Alaska by RobynDayton

GREAT Suite!!! Fernando (butler) and Patrick (concierge) were fantastic!!! Room was clean and well maintained...lots of extras such as Canapes every day between 3-4 pm, Elemis products in your bathroom, nice soft bathrooms and linens...much better than i've ever experienced on other lines. This room was the difference between a good cruise and a great cruise!!! Take the plunge...you will not be sorry. Also, please note that you dine for breakfast and lunch in one of the specialty dining rooms and the meals are MUCH BETTER!!!!! I cannot stress enough how much better life is in a suite!!!!

Others have written about a sewage smell, and they're right! This was very evident both inside and on the balcony. Our cabin was port side aft on deck 9. My son was in a similar location starboard and had no problem, so maybe starboard is a better choice. A minor annoyance, but not a trip-spoiler.

Our room was amazing, we opted to try the Forward Penthouse Suite on this cruise and we are so glad we did. The bathroom was huge definitely lots of room for 2 people to get ready at the same time, the Jacuzzi tub was pretty awesome for those that like to soak after a day of exploring the islands. The room definitely was a good choice an experience of a lifetime for sure.

The room was awesome - spacious - with a huge window. There were plenty of cubbies to place our items. The luggage stowed easily below the bed! It was GREAT! Even the bathroom, as small as it was turned out to be ample for us with lots of storage spaces for bathroom accoutrement! The "Kronos 2000" hairdryer was a bit of a joke - more like a personal fan. Be sure to request a "real" hairdryer from guest services.

Our cabin (once it was dry) was more than adequate. We had a balcony stateroom and there was enough storage space. The bathroom was very small and the shower almost claustrophobic, but adequate to meet our needs. Our steward spoke no English but our cabin was cleaned and made up beautifully each day. We had no "relationship" with him other than a quick Hello when we passed in the hallways. After spending a few hours in an inside stateroom, I would certainly recommend a room with a balcony if it is not too pricey.

Had no problem with the cabin whatsoever. The servicing of it was appalling however the cabin itself was fine and very comfortable.Well appointed and everything we required for a great cruise. Towels were thread bare but you can't blame the stewards for this. Just a really poor ship all over.  Read entire member review.

We had an inside cabin which was adequate. The shower was extremely small. The area was in the bow of the ship, a little bumpy but quiet.  Read entire member review.

6109 -- Quiet location on a half-deck between decks 6 and 7. Don't choose this cabin or any other on the Oslo deck if you can't handle stairs; there are about 10 and no elevator access. Average-sized cabin with the great storage found in all Sun cabins.  Read entire member review.

AC penthouse suite- back of ship. Huge balcony and bathroom, separate living room and bedroom- great for 3 or 4 roommates. Had separate access to balcony, bathroom and front door so you could come and go with little disturbence to others. BAD sofa bed- bring own airbed like we did. Good regular beds.  Read entire member review.

ALL Cabins on ALL SHIPS need an electrical outlet near the headboard. Lots of people like me have Medical Devices and have to string extension cords all over the cabin. Lucky no one tripped using the bathroom at night!  Read entire member review.

Cabin was fine for two. Loved the large window. Plenty of storage space, and we brought too much stuff. We made them empty the mini-bar so we had our own fridge. The beds, pushed together, had an uncomfortable place in the middle where the two twin beds joined, but we learned to live with it.
