We had cabin 0007 verandah BC cabin on the 5 day cruise, and 0056 verandah BC cabin on the 7 day cruise. Both were in excellent locations, just a few steps from the stairs. Very close to everything on deck 11. The cabins were quiet, clean and well organized. Great cabin stewards both times.I would recommend getting cabins closer to the stairs and elevators either forward or aft. There are no mid ship stairs.

We were at the back of the ship and had no problem with noise. We purposely chose to be under the sports bar expecting it to be quiet in the morning and it was. We had a longer walk to disembark, but less noise and traffic in the hallways. The elevator and stairs at our end were very close. We were at the right end for the outdoor café and breakfast access too. It was ideal for us.

Our cabin was good. Very quiet at the front of the ship. Spacious, but the beds were REALLY uncomfortable. After talking to other guests, we think it was because the mattresses were old and need to be replaced. Balcony was nice.

Cabin 1202 ... excellent room. Intended as an adjoining room for the Owner's Suite so its an excellent location at the very front of the ship. It does get a little rocky at the front but the extra room on the balcony and in the room is worth it!  Read entire member review.

BC Balcony Cabins 10002 & 1202 are the best balcony staterooms in the NCL fleet. Originally designed as the 3rd bedrooms of the two Owners' Suites, they are larger than most Mini-Suites but can only be marketed as balconies because the have a stand alone shower and no bath tub.

This Cabin had a great location, just one door from the atrium elevator which was hardly ever full. The layout of the ship was very convenient too as all of the restaurants, the casino and the theater were at the back of the ship. Most of the rooms were forward of the atrium, which made it convenient to find and shortened the walking distance to half the length of the ship from our room. There was very little movement of the ship as the waters were quite calm, and very little noise even though we were above the casino.

The BC Balcony states that it sleeps 4 and it does, COMFORTABLY! The room has a queen bed (2 singles pushed together) with the head of the bed against the wall. There is a large pull out couch against the same wall. The couch however does not pull out like the smaller ones in the cabins that sleep 3, this one pulls out more like a day or trundle bed so that the occupants of the pull out coach sleep perpendicular to the queen bed. This seems to make for more walking space around that bed to get to the balcony. There was plenty of closet space and drawers to accommodate the 4 of us...2 parents, a 23 and a 17 year old. The bathroom was small and the layout is not the one we are used to with the slide partitions on the shower and toilet with the sink in the middle. In this bath the sink is on one wall and a small round shower stall with a fabric curtain is on the wall across from the sink. the toilet is at an angle between them. I can see the shower being an issue for those over 250lbs. There is a flat screen TV and just 1 double outlet in the entire room so bring a power strip to charge your devices. The balcony has room for 2 chairs and a tiny table. The balcony door opens out rather than side and has a large metal hook to keep it open. The outer "wall" is like a wrought iron fence with a wooden rail atop rather than plexiglass. and the curtains are in need of some mending as the holes in the liner show through at sunrise. All in all I was quite satisfied with this cabin for a party of 4.

Cabin was clean, nicely appointed, and comfortable. Everything was functional, and the bed was fine. Cabin steward was invisible until the last day of our cruise. No complaints.

A Very Nice Time by TheConsort

The starboard side balcony cabin was more than large enough with more than enough storage for clothes for a 7 night cruise.

We initially booked an interior cabin. The A/C seemed to be having issues and we had it looked at, which fixed the problem for about 24-36 hours. We recieved a complimentary plate of chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of red wine after this problem. A piece on the threshold of the bathroom was broken, which caused me to cut my toe. By that afternoon, we were upgraded to a balcany room, which we enjoyed so much.
It was challenging to get around with 4 people in the cabin. There was plenty of storage cabinets, however, with 4 of us, we still had to get in and out of our suitcases often. We stored those under the King sized bed.
Our room steward did a great job keeping us supplied with clean towels and folding up the kids fouton bed.
