Family Balcony Cabins 26 Reviews
These staterooms are perfect if you want to bring the kids along. They sleep up to four guests and include a sitting area, two lower beds that convert into a queen-size bed and a pull out sofa to accommodate two more. Not to mention the floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open to a private balcony for the whole family to enjoy.

Much larger than we expected. Small old TV. Lots of closet space.  Read entire member review.

Nicely laid out room with lots of storage. Big balcony with lots of privacy. No noise from adjacent cabins. Great location for Seven Seas or restaurants/bars on 11 and 12.

Cabin was quite adequate for one person with too much storage space for one person. Drawback was that bed was too big for the room. I did not notice any noise but I live across from a hospital with a helopad so that probably has something to do with it. There is a line in the shower for drying clothes which came in handy when I was drying my underwear and socks at night.  Read entire member review.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS: Aft cabins on the port side. They are over the sewage processing exhaust fan. A disgusting smell permeates this part of the ship, whether running on the promenade deck or sitting on your balcony. It ruined our trip  Read entire member review.

Everything great except for small vibration problem when engines running full speed.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was near the Stardust Lounge. It was almost impossible to go to sleep before 10:30 at night or while the entertainers were practicing. There was plenty of storage space and the bathroom was well equipped.  Read entire member review.

OUR CABIN WAS WITH A BALCONY AND ALBEIT THERE WAS A FEW MINOR MATTERS TO PUT RIGHT SUCH AS SOILED BEACH TOWELS AND DIRTY FINGER MARKS OVER THE MIRRORS AND DOORS THERE WAS LITTLE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT. THERE WAS ADIQUATE STORAGE WHICH IS SAYING SOMETHING AS MY WIFE TENDST " TO TAKE THE KITCHEN SINK WITH US ON HOLIDAY " ,AS WE SAY IN THE UK. THE VIEW WAS VERY GOOD INDEED AND THE BALCONY SAFE AND AS I SAY THE CABIN WAS VERY GOOD WITH NO NOISE AS VERY FEW CHILDREN WERE ON BOARD.  Read entire member review.

Close enough to aft elevators to be handy but not too close to be noisy. A little cramped between the foot of the bed and the wall. Good storage space. Quiet - no noise from adjoining cabins.  Read entire member review.

We had a "family balcony" cabin. I think these are the same size as normal balcony cabins, but have a fold out sofa that sleeps two more. The cabin seemed similar in size to balcony cabins on Princess and Carnival (some people say they are larger). There was plenty of room and the balcony was a decent size. Plenty of storage space too (bring some extra hangers). Restroom seems smaller and the shower is tight. Cabin steward did an OK job, but we only got three towel animals on an 11 night cruise. Also, the mattress pad was stained and we asked him to replace it, which he did. Beds are quite comfortable.  Read entire member review.

Our stateroom (9262) was aft on Deck 9, with balcony. It was clean and well tended by the stewards. However, it was small and crowded. One twin bed stuck out in the passageway so that we had to walk sideways to get to the bathroom, closet, or door. There did not appear to be any way to reconfigure the room to prevent this. We loved the towel animals the steward left for us each day. Our cabin steward was very efficient and pleasant.  Read entire member review.
