Aft port side penthouse cabin with large balcony twice the size of the mini-suites and plenty of closet and bathroom space. Would prefer deck 9 and booked accordingly for next cruise. Noisy on deck 10 which is directly below outdoor cafe.

Spacious, but not as much closet space as you would expect. Poor location under the "Great Outdoors Cafe" which is directly above. Only one sink in an otherwise large bathroom. No coffee maker, kettle, extra pillow or a blanket without asking.  Read entire member review.

We had suite 8277 which my brother and I found to have adequate space for two people. But this cabin sleeps 4 and I doubt there is enough closet space for 4. Drawer space is adequate though. I found the bathroom space to be more than adequate. There is a bath, shower, toilet. However there is only 1 wash basin and all the lights must be turned on; you can not light just one. We had a problem. The agent did not warn us of this. I requested separate beds and when I got to the cabin I saw one bed. I mentioned this to the steward; he replied that he could separate the beds but in doing so we would not have access to the closet or 1 entrance to the bathroom (there are 2 entrances to the bathroom). So my brother slept in the living room while I slept in the bedroom.  Read entire member review.

Fun for the whole family by Abbyanddavid
The room itself was lovely and laid out very nicely, although it was MUCH smaller than the 1-bedroom suite we had on Disney. I would say that it was perfectly wonderful for a couple, but adding the kids in made things quite tight. My son slept on the pull-out couch and my daughter slept in a pack-n-play that our room steward placed in the living room for us. The furnishings, etc. were great and the balcony was spacious. Being at the back of the ship, we did bounce around quite a bit, which didn't bother me but might bother others.  Read entire member review.

Beautiful, spacious. Loved the separate living room/bedroom but would not book again because it will shake you out of bed coming in and out of port. Horrible vibration.  Read entire member review.

Incredible balcony and greater than 90 degrees of view! Living area with pull out couch separated from bedroom by frosted glass doors - great for families. Couch is a little tight for two adults, but fine for two young kids. Plenty of storage. Nice bathroom with separate tub and shower.

Suite 9076 is an aft facing Penthouse (referred to as a Deluxe Family Suite in some materials). It provides a large balcony that fits four chairs, a small table, and two loungers quite comfortably. The "living room" converts to a fairly comfortable sleeper that is more than adequate for two children. During the 2011 dry dock, all of the furniture was replaced and the TVs in the suites were upgraded to flat screens. There are TVs in both the living area and a smaller one in the bedroom. The bedroom has a Queen sized bed and is quite comfortable. There is lots of storage space in both the bedroom and dressing area that provides plenty of room to completely unpack a family of four. The suite also has a large bathroom with a walk in shower, separate jacuzzi tub with shower, private toilet area, and lots of cabinets.  Read entire member review.

AC 9076 was nice with an extended deck which we used infrequently since the sun was always out there and there is no protection from it. It was a bit chilly most of the time. The room is nice with the bath in the back of the living room and connected with both bedroom and livingroom so we could have privacy when necessary. There was adequate drawer space for all 3 of us and the closets were good. There is one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom annex. We had a problem with the shower not working and it took about 8 hours for them to finally get it fixed. After being in drydock, you would have thought everything would be working property.  Read entire member review.

Balcony was very nice. Bedroom could use a little more space. Bed close to closet kind of cramped.  Read entire member review.

Spectacular Cruise by Kentskie
We had a category AC suite at the rear of the ship (9076). It has a living room and bedroom separated by a door. It is of adequate size but not overly large. The bathroom is long and narrow. It has a separate tub and shower. The tub is a whirlpool tub and also has a shower which is easier to shower in. The separate shower has swinging doors which doswing that is with the slightest movement flying open and dousing the rest of the room. The toilet room is adequate but it is difficult to open the door and get in. The bathroom is accessible from both sides. There is a huge amount of drawer storage not so with hanging closet storage. The bed is very comfortable and there is a pillow menu. I never quite got the pillows right but there were certainly enough options. There is a bar area with a lot of glassware, a coffee maker, and a safe. There are two televisions one with a DVD. Movies are available from your butler. There is a dressing table in the bathroom and a desk in the living room. The decor of the room reminded me of the decor in suites we've had on Princess. It is very woody and pleasant. The couches are actually preferable to the ones on Princess which are slippery.  Read entire member review.

Alaska 2013 by queenann1

Rock hard couch, uncomfortable chairs in living area, toilet too low for someone with knee and hip issues, rain water would accumulate on the ledge above the bedroom balcony door and would sound like finger nails scraping on a chalk board when it came over the edge. CHEAP coffee maker AND nasty tasting coffee!
AWESOME view from Balcony- minor ash issue at certain times of day- Balconies are not PRIVATE at the rear of ship. Plenty of storage for 2 people.

Around Cape Horn by travelernj
Really large suite. A good size bedroom, a living room with breakfront bar and fridge and a full bath. A shower, a whirltub bath with enough head room for a tall person to stand in, and dressing area outside of bath room. Also lots of closet and shelf space.  Read entire member review.

We were in an aft-facing Penthouse suite, category SE, 9276, which is a corner suite on the starboard side. The suite includes a living room with couch, 2 chairs and a table which doubles as a dining room table for in suite dining. Large credenza against one wall with flat screen TV, 4 cup coffee maker, refrig, dishes, etc. Bedroom off the living room with king bed, closet with shelving on either side, small credenza with flat screen. Door from bedroom into bath which goes straight through to a second door off the entry hall. The bath includes an area with vanity and mirror, closet with safe, and a built in chest of drawers. In the bath area, sink with plenty of storage both above and below. Bathtub with shower, as well as shower stall with glass door and separate toilet compartment. Sliding doors in each room lead out to the balcony which goes the length of both the living room and bedroom. We loved this balcony for Alaska. 2 lounge and two other chairs. Very spacious. The only negative with the aft rooms are the occasional loud vibration when the ship uses the thrusters when maneuvering into port, or a couple times while in narrow areas of the inside passage. These were brief, and never disturbed our rest or enjoyment of the cabin. We felt no movement in the aft, but we had very smooth seas the entire trip. It was very quiet there and not far from the aft elevators, although we usually walked further to the mid elevators to the atrium area.
