Cabin 4168. 2 floor to ceiling closets with clothes hangers. 1 floor to closet with multiple shelves, can be converted to a clothes pole also. There are only about 4 pull out drawers to put clothes in. Most our items were on the shelves in tall closet. As the counter got closer to the bed and balcony it tapered away. There were a couple doors under this smaller section that had a couple shelves. Not large enough to put clothes on but it did provide a nice place to put misc items such as sun screen and bug spray. There are two drawers that pull out under the sofa and had some extra blankets. They stick and are hard to open but provide valuable additional space if needed.
Bed was two beds pushed together but they were incredibly comfortable. This was some of the best sleep we ever got on a vacation.
Bathroom was small, but hello it's a cruise ship. It actually had a lot of counter space with multiple little shelves attached along the sides of the mirror to hold items. It had a shower only, no tub. There was body wash and shampoo dispenser in the shower. Handy if you forget your own but IMO did not perform all that well so I used my own. Water pressure was great. Temperature would fluctuate slightly during peak times but nothing bad.
Balcony: We had a standard size balcony. It had two chairs and a small table. There was plenty of room for two people. It is not recessed over the lifeboats so it provides great views in all directions.
The cabin was quiet and comfortable. We were close to mid ship elevators, which were always really busy. We had no hallway noise. Did hear a lot of other doors, not sure if balcony or stateroom doors, slamming shut though. Read entire member review. |

We were in cabin 4187 8b Balcony. Life boat next to us restricted our view some but again the weather wasn't the greatest to enjoy it for me but my husband enjoyed it. Plenty of storage and for hanging clothes but only two shelves for folded clothes and drawers were small. There is additional storage under the sofa and luggage stores under the bed. Refrigerator didn't seem to keep drinks that cold. Location was wonderful right between a bank of elevators and stairs.
We had one couple from our group in cabin 5105 (inside), this can be an adjoining cabin with a balcony next door but in our case parties were not traveling together. The guy with the balcony cabin smoked the entire time and it seemed to come into their cabin. He was told several times by the steward that he couldn't smoke in that cabin but it went unheeded. Maybe if they fined him for smoking in a non smoking cabin it would have gotten his attention as it disrupted the enjoyment of my party who are non smokers. Read entire member review. |

#4209 is close to elevators and next 3 staterooms forward of it have windows (that don't open) so balcony doesn't get smoke coming downwind. Read entire member review. |

I really enjoy being near the back of the boat and as close to the elevators as I can get. It makes it very easy to get to and from the dinning room which is located at the back of the boat. Those rooms also give you quick access up to Lido Deck nine where there are coffee stations just off the elevators. On the Spirit class ships the 24 hour pizza is also just off the elevators.
Very quiet in the back of the boat as well since there is less foot traffic. Read entire member review. |

Great Balcony, however Elviro didn't change the sheets enough. The room itself is very comfortable. The TV was able to get the Olympics, Daytona 500, and Super Bowl. Read entire member review. |

Our room was clean and well laid out (#4223). I believe this is an 8A category cabin on the Starboard side. The bathroom showed it's age a bit and the sleeper couch was looking a bit dingy. My cabin mate claims it was firm, but comfortable. This was my first balcony and it was nice and was used, but I do see how it makes the room smaller. With three adults in the room I would have liked to have that space back. We were also right above the MDR, but had no noise or smell issues. Very few people strolling the decks below us. Some aft movement, but nothing serious. My sister was in #4209 and the cabins were identical and both slept three people. Read entire member review. |

We were really pleased with our cabin. It was roomy and in a great location. The balcony has an obstructed view - the life boat is right in front. Still, we were able to see the ocean, and it was a great place to sit and read my book. The cabins have new flat screened TVs and a small stocked fridge. There was PLENTY of storage space - three closets to hang clothes, and a closet with lots of shelves for folded items. The vanity area also has several drawers and a built in hair dryer. The couch is full-sized and has a small table in front of it for playing cards, etc.
It was AMAZING how little noise we heard in the morning - even though we slept until after 10:30 nearly every day. The door was very thick and very little light comes in under the door. The cabin is located midship on deck 5 fairly close to the elevators. Our cabin steward Jonathan was one of the best we've ever had. I'd book this cabin again in a heartbeat! 5185 -- partially obstructed view, we didn't mind having a lifeboat in the lower 1/3 of our vision. There's nothing to see down there anyway.
Carnival has boasted about their upgraded bedding but our mattress felt like the stuffing had been sucked out of it. The sheets and such were very soft, no complaints at all there. I did have to ask for extra pillows because the bed hurt my knees (I have osteoarthritis) Read entire member review. |

5191 Obstructed Balcony View.
The lifeboat comes up to your shins or your knees if you are short.
Viewing right is not good due to the way the ship is built.
But, I saved hundreds and it made me not mind drinking some good drinks and letting my wife and kids go nuts in gift shops. Read entire member review. |

Good clean cabin, but no control over air temp. No rooms opposite, so this area on the ship was relatively quiet, traffic wise. However, there was LOTS of thumping and banging from the cabin above, probably kids. There was also a LOT of noise from people slamming their balcony doors.....but the ship IS just a floating block of flats. Read entire member review. |

Only a few noise noise problems associated with unsupervised children? in the next doors cabin. Apart from that no ship noises to complain about.
The cabin is also handy to the MDR and the Deck Laundry. Read entire member review. |

Noise and Vibration made it feel like you just placed a couple of quarters in a cheap motel vibrating bed. Although this was the last cruise before their scheduled dry dock so it might be better now. Read entire member review. |

The cabins were excellent. Liked the layout with the table .. deck chairs outside were also good. But the little table could have been a bit bigger it only held 2 glasses and was very low. My back told me so many times.
Plenty of space for hanging clothes and cupboard space for other bits and pieces. Overall excellent use of space. Beds were nice and big. Read entire member review. |

Cabins were clean, lots of room.
If we didn't have a broken balcony door that whistled all night and allowing cigarette smoke to fill our cabin from adjacent balconies, the room would have been perfect, Read entire member review. |

Cabin 7212 on the Verandah Deck - midship. Smaller balcony than we expected but large enough for two chairs and a small table. The setout worked well with a lot of storage. Also there was a lounge with table. The bathroom was good with large enough shower space. The lifts d stairs were just around the corner so very convenient. We would be pleased to take this cabin again. Read entire member review. |

We were on the ship by noon, had lunch, and our cabin was ready by 1:00. We were very impressed with our Steward, Angel, as when we first arrived, he asked what our cabin number was and when we told him he said, "Oh, Kevin, Rebecca, Jessica, and Emily!". So to know our first names immediately upon arrival just amazed us! We were very pleased with their services throughout the entire cruise. I recommend a balcony as you will be able to see the various wildlife that comes with visiting Alaska!

Standard balcony cabin, 3 decks above lifeboat. Extended balcony wall next door blocks forward view but cuts down on wind. No public activities on floor above or below. Short walk to elevator and stairs. No vibration from screws. Small but efficient bathroom. Closet and drawer space were adequate for 2 people but might be crowded with more. If you are going on a warmer weather cruise, bring a bungee cord to hold the door open. Only one plug in the room that is easily accessible. Read entire member review. |

On the first night, our cabin had a mechanical noise that sounded like metal bouncing on metal. We asked our room steward about it and he said it would stop when we were out to sea. It did. However, when we got out to sea, our balcony door did not shut tightly and whistled with the wind (there is lots of wind) They finally fixed it on the 4th night. Read entire member review. |

The room had a good view and I took many pictures from the balcony. The bed was comfortable, the stewards were helpful and the ice was always fresh. If I could remember my room # I would enter it but I do not and Carnival's site is down at the time of writing this. Read entire member review. |
