C748
C748: Penthouse Suite. Plenty of storage, beautiful decor (blues and golds), 20 foot wide by 8+ foot deep balcony with teak table, 4 padded teak chairs and 4 teak loungers with cozy blankets. In-room jacuzzi (large), and separate marble shower. Mini-bar (complimentary at beginning of cruise), refrigerator, two televisions (flat screen), DVD player, the MOST COMFORTABLE bed of any cruise bed we have slept in. This room overlooks the wake at the back of the ship with panoramic views to left and right. The balcony is fully covered. Despite some threads that mention the "dreaded vent," we found that you could not hear the vent that was behind a partition to the left of the balcony because of the wake noise. In port you barely were aware of it, and it is NOT a problem (we forgot there was a vent there, and you can't see it). There is some slight vibration for a few moments when you come into port and the ship is positioning itself, but it is gone quickly. We loved this spacious cabin and would book it again in an instant!  Read entire member review.

Great suite, bad location for pitching and or rolling seas. Great location for ports as it provides a good photography site. Attendant was very helpful and made our stay enjoyable. Plenty of storage space!  Read entire member review.
S703

S703  S5, CORSICA PENTHOUSE SUITE ! The suite was exactly what we have come to expect of Princess Cruise Lines. It was luxurious, roomy, clean, well appointed and oh so comfortable. The aft location didn't seem to make any difference.

However, there were a couple of items that were distractions. Those being: 1. The suite was on Deck 16 - Sun. Not the height but the elevators. Only two of the four aft elevators traversed past deck 14. It took for ever to get an elevator when you were on the 15th. 2. It seems that on Deck 16 just above the suites was a running track which for most of the time didn't matter. Except at 5:30 AM most mornings there was this "heavy footed buffalo" that liked to do his laps!

The starboard side suite was exactly what we like and the extra elevation was quite nice for viewing sights while in port. Even with the elevator issue, I would book the suite again if on the Golden Princess.

These penthouses are pure luxury and well worth the money. They have everything you could want and more perks than you could use. The bedroom is spacious, plenty of storage, gorgeous marble bathroom with separate shower and jetted tub, and even a curtain to separate the bedroom and sitting area so your child can sleep and you can stay up and watch a movie. The balcony is huge, with a table and chairs and two loungers. There are blankets to snuggle up with while you watch the views. There are no cabins above or below you so it is very peaceful and private. The Sun deck is up high, with the buffet just a flight of stairs below you to grab snacks. You can request whatever fruit or appetizers you would like delivered each day and borrow DVD's for the kids to watch. They even brought a chocolate chip cookie for my daughter each night. The service is first class. Our steward was Marvin and he was wonderful. These suites are the best way to bring a family for the ultimate Alaska experience.  Read entire member review.

The Only Way to Cruise by SJ Cruisers
Being a penthouse suite there is very little negative infromation I can provide. The only thing is since the suite is on deck 15 and quite high the rolling with the ocean is also high  Read entire member review.

We were in a penthouse suite on the sun deck - wow! Size of 2 normal rooms, more draws then we can fill (and we travel heavy), LARGE closet, and the views!!

The suites on the new deck 15 are just what my mom likes! I had S710 and she had S712 and my husband had S708. The balcony was huge, the bathrooms went on and on. The whole suite is new so it did not smell like smoke or other odors. There are mirrors everywhere. We were totally spoiled, it felt like an apartment.  Read entire member review.

We had Penthouse suites S706, S708 and S710. Hallway very quiet and upscale. Balconies were very spacious as were the rooms. Excellent location.  Read entire member review.
