Nice stateroom! Not overly large but big enough for the two of us to move around in easily. The view from the balcony was incredible. Being at the end of the hallway meant nobody running past our door at night making noise. Would pick it again! Read entire member review. |

Cabin 1520 on Radiance is a balcony cabin (with an interconnecting cabin door)on Deck 10. Some noise does come thru the interconnecting door. Late night horizontal folk dancing, excited conversation and a TV a little too loud can be a bother.
Plenty of hanging space, cupboards, drawers etc. NO tea or coffee maker in this cabin but a fully stocked mini bar. Duvets can be too hot so I asked for a blanket instead. Balcony was (is always) wonderful.
Very little hallway noise was noticed. Read entire member review. |

Large enough, balcony small but good, if you get a cabin nearer elevator, balconies are huge but you get some noise from elevators
Showers tiny but clean
Sofa bed very uncomfortable to sleep on and takes up much of cabin, when its opened up you have to step on it to get out of cabin
7th floor is really good, close enough to most levels of ships and you can use stairs rather than wait for VERY slow elevators Read entire member review. |

Cabin 7126 - closet was ok size, adequate storage for 3 people, not sure for 4. Location very quiet, we heard nothing. Port side great for the itinerary. Did have lifeboat cover directly under our balcony so couldn't see down into the ocean, but never bothered us at all, it was just nice to be able to look across the ocean. Bathroom small, shower curtain gross when it sticks to you. Read entire member review. |

had room 7598. Small but nice. 1 and 1/2 seater sofa was an improvement. Rounded bed good in some ways and no sharp edges but not good for tall people and your feet hang off the end. bathroom is small and shower is so tiny even an anorexic would get claustrophobia. Excellent closet and storage space. Balcony small but fits 2 chairs and a table which was adequate. The cabin is well positioned on the ship being close to the centrum and lifts (midship).
main problem was the regular smell of sewerage outside the room and on the balcony. Same smell was regularly found on the deck 5 balcony. Its a real problem when the smell of someone smoking is more preferable than that awful sewerage smell Read entire member review. |

our cabin was in a great location easy access to the elevators, balcony had all around views, no obstruction from the life boats and can see all the way to the water and both ends of the ship. Only downside to this room is the noise from the Centrum can get intrusive on some nights as they have it up way to loud. Read entire member review. |

This cabin is in a great location and has an extended balcony. It is also sheltered from the wind so is a great one for Alaska (better for SB) Read entire member review. |

Stateroom # 8104, nice cabin, strange round footed bed (but comfortable) "hump" balcony of nice size but forward view obstructed by the "hump" of the cabin next door, small bathroom, plenty of storage, terrific steward, close to elevators. Read entire member review. |

This cabin had a king size bed, and a pull out sofa. It also had an option of a bunk bed, but we used the pull-out sofa for the little one. The cabin is on port side, which was not a big deal for the 'Inside Passage' as you get to see lot of stuff on both sides. Close to the main elevator to food and such. And located on the 8th floor, which is flanked by other floors which have just cabins, and not any public areas. It was quiet because of that - no other noises from other activities like theater, restaurants, etc. The bathroom was a bit tiny.
The balcony was nice, but only had two chairs. The toddler had to sit on the lap if at the balcony, which was not a big deal. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 8118...Great views from balcony, although not directly onto the water. Overlooks the lifeboat covers.
Lots of cupboard space, plenty of hangers provided.
King bed...very comfy, not a problem with my bad back.
Plenty of room for power board to charge cameras etc on dresser table.
Bathroom excellent, plenty of room to turn & use it, even with it being small. Read entire member review. |

Great spot on ship. Balcony is recessed behind others on both sides, so privacy is assured. Wood was a bit worn inside but stateroom was very functional, and held 3 suitcases below our hanging clothes. I would specifically seek this stateroom again. Read entire member review. |

Older ship, very attractive however, cabins are smaller and bathrooms tiny.
Veranda small but functional Read entire member review. |

Poor cabin attendant. We would have preferred the glass shower door over the curtains. Location was good, and wife loved the balcony. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 8588 Radiance of the Seas. This cabin was too close to the Centrum stack of rooms. At night you could hear all the loud music, during the day you could hear the children if they were having an activity in the centrum.
Any cabin on any floor near the centrum stack I would avoid, too noisy.
The balcony was OK since we were on the hump....but still small.
The SHOWER was the SMALLEST I have ever been in on a cruise ship. Read entire member review. |

The cabin, 8588, balcony on the hump, was awesome! We were right next to the elevator, but situated away from the sound! There were plenty of closets, drawers and shelves, and the suitcases fit right under the bed. The bathroom was big enough, good water pressure and tons of hot water. There were lots of hangers. The coffee table in front of the couch is perfect to bring outside to have breakfast on the balcony. The bed was huge and tv worked great. We will stay in there again for sure! we could choose a Balcony room (8604) on the "Hump" on the Starboard side. Our balcony on the Hump was a about twice as big as normal. The views from the Starboard side (Even Numbered cabins) were always dockside for this itinerary. The size and layout of this room was more than adequate for our needs. There was ample storage for all of our things. Two Cruise Critic Tips that served us well were to bring a Power Strip for all your electronic gadgets and a Digital Clock. There was absolutely no outside noise even though the room was very near the beautiful Centrum. Read entire member review. |

8618. No complaints except "cloth" shower curtain. Smart use of space. Bright. Nice size balcony. Hallway is accessible yet quiet. Read entire member review. |

Since the aft stairway (shown on the RCCL web site) is actually for crew use only, we had to hike a bit to get from our cabin to the public stairs in the Centrum. The cabin was fine for two people, but probably too small for any more. Read entire member review. |

Lots of storage, convenient to the forward elevators, quiet, just forward of the deck 11 overhang for a better view of the sky from the balcony. Read entire member review. |

Room 9234 was spacious as far as balcony cabins go. Very small balcony. Two chairs barely fit. I like the curtain you can pull across to let someone sleep while you read, etc. Hanging space ok. Cubby space, just ok. Shower poorly designed. There was always water on the floor no matter what I did. Read entire member review. |

Should not have booked rooms in our area. (9th deck aft.) Pipe burst while on shore excursion flooding cabins in our section. No other rooms available. Prisoner's at sea in horrid conditions. Read entire member review. |

9528 - Nice quiet balcony room with plenty of closet and storage space. Good size for two people. Bathroom was ample except for the tiny shower. Room located on starboard bow area of Deck 9 just around the corner from the elevators and stairs. It was easy to get around the ship from this location. Motion on ship was minimal when we were at sea, but hardly noticeable at all when in the Inside Passage. Only issue with us was that our neighbors were smokers and were out on their balcony smoking often. This made it hard for us to enjoy our balcony as much as we would have liked. #7648, 7th floor starboard/aft. Small square footage for a balcony room, shower barely big enough for 1 person, but you better not move or your body which clings to the shower curtain will open and douse the floor of the bathroom. Poorly laid out bedroom area. Sofa big enough for only 1 person to sit. Room perfect size for single traveler. A couple? Not so much. Read entire member review. |

We were cabin #1516, an E1 balcony. Overall the space was sufficient, though the shower setup and size were a bit small and uncomfortable. We would have prefered to store our luggage under the bed, but there was not sufficient height. The location, just forward of the front stairs, was great...very quiet and fairly convenient. The fridge didn't have enough space, and for those who didn't realize they could ask their attendant to move some of the items out and they wouldn't get charged, it would have been useless. Cabin 7626
Balcony cabin - just behind midship. Nice quiet room and there is a double bed with a pullman overhead and a single chair that pulls out to a bed. The only noise was the children running up and down the hallway on deck 8. We didnt hear anything from the Schooner bar or Colony club below. Let down was the cigarette smoke from the other balconies. Read entire member review. |

Cabin positioning has been discussed in other threads. All I wish is that the showers on every ship have the sliding glass doors instead of the plastic drop cloth. The shower stalls are small enough as it is without having to share them with an overly affectionate shower curtain. Read entire member review. |
