1010 was a great cabin on the port side. Close enough to the forward lifts but a long way from the aft......The cabin was clean and well maintained. It was great to have a balcony. The room was very quiet with minimal hall noise.  Read entire member review.

Great location, only a short walk to lifts/stairs and no noise from the traffic there. There are no rooms opposite so no noise from that only a little from staff from about 8am but nothing drastic. You hear nothing from the spa reception above so it is an excellent location with only one deck to the solarium pool & park cafe. Room attendant Ram was great, fixed the toilet without even being asked because we had to leave early for a shore excursion, always friendly and ready for a laugh. Loved this room and didn't notice any more rocking when it was compared to down on deck 4 in the atrium.

I found the cabin to be spacious, but shower was a little small for a large fellow but you don't spend a long time in there. There was plenty of space for clothing. The balcony for 7092 is a little larger and you have views to the front of the ship.  Read entire member review.

The extra large balcony is a real plus for this cabin. There is some loss of privacy because the divider becomes railing height about three feet from the rail and there is exposure to views from above but we didn't really find this to be a problem. The location is close to the forward elevators/stairs and we didn't notice any extra noise from the theater.  Read entire member review.
Coat closet shower leaks all over the floor every time, mold in the bathroom vents, Loved looking out our balcony but we had the extended balcony & our smoking neighbor continually came to the far right corner of the bordering balcony where he could look directly into our state room OR if we had left the sliding glass door unlocked he could have come over the wall & right in our room! Not very private so I do suggest if your getting a balcony expecting exclusive privacy you better ask if you're getting an "extended balcony first"  Read entire member review.

7604 is located amidship on the starboard side iwo of the hump. The cabin was of reasonable size with adequate storage for two persons. The balcony has no obstructions or overhangs above. As it is on the curve of the hump it is slightly shaped with two chairs and a small table. The bathroom is a standard size with a shower curtain which leaks water on most occasions. There was very little noise disturbance, the elevators are on the opposite side of the vessel and could not be heard. There is a slight noise nuisance from the centrum when there is an organised party night but this is minimal and caused us no great concern  Read entire member review.
Extra large balcony. Small shower. Fairly quiet as it is near aft.  Read entire member review.
Nice room at back of ship, quiet, good view from balcony, balcony was nice size. Great beds! Speaker in the room to hear announcements from the captain did not work, had to open the door to hear from the hall or turn on the TV to a certain station to hear. Very efficient safety meeting PRIOR to leaving the port of Vancouver. I thought it was great that they even checked attendance.  Read entire member review.
Wonderful Cruise by cruiser3031

Our stateroom 8060 on deck 8 was great except for the partial obstruction of the cleaning platform just outside our balcony otherwise was it great. The views of the local communities, tour stops and Hubbard Glacier were great.
The beds were comfortable but probably not good for tall plus passengers. Room amenities were nice with lots of closet space. It was a bit tight getting around the entertainment center and the beds but was tolerable.
The stateroom was always clean and neat each day thanks to the attendant who paid close attention to our requirements. All in all a balcony stateroom is 100% over an inside one.

A Warm Winter Holiday by slenmargni
Great view, good location, close to Centrum and stairs but not too close. King bed in this cabin. Not enough drawer space for 2 adults and a 17 yr old. Closet held all our hanging items. Shower curtain sticks to body as you try to move about. Old style tv and the fridge did not keep our water/soda cold.  Read entire member review.
Stateroom: We had stateroom 8138, a category E2 deluxe ocean view stateroom with balcony. It was 179 square feet with a 41 foot balcony. It was on the smaller side of the 4 balcony rooms we've traveled on with other cruise lines but to be fair it was more than adequate and was very comfortable. The bathroom was small and efficient with a corner shower. The bed in the room had rounded corners to make it easier to get around the bed but it worked well and was comfortable. The room was in very good shape for its age and we saw no real wear other than one sticky drawer. The closet space and built in desk/vanity was very good and allowed more than enough space and hangers which sometimes can be an issue. The balcony was small but nice with two upright deck chairs and a small table. The balcony gave us a good view forward and aft. It was receded into the ship some so the room above us stuck out about 8 feet beyond the edge of our balcony and it wasn't a straight down the ship side view to the ocean as there was the roof to the promenade deck a few floors below that stuck out about 15 feet.  Read entire member review.
This cabin is right beside the stairs and lifts. But no particular noise or distraction. Occasionally you may hear a faint ding of the lift but only rarely and not distracting. Many people were jealous of the situ of this room and ease of access. Good internal space, both floor and closet. Small balcony.  Read entire member review.
This cabin has a squeak which can disturb your sleep as its loud at night in quite calm waters.  Read entire member review.
OUR location [8588] was the best on the ship in our opinion...large balcony, great view couldn't ask for better. Close to elevators, but quiet. Easy to find. Middle of the ship. Quick access to main entertainment areas, if the elevators were full, it was easy to take the stairs without too much exertion. Balcony was fabulous, the roof of the floor above overhung and protected from rain and elements. Some noise from lobby bands but they didn't play after 10-11 pm.  Read entire member review.
Comfortable bed. Plenty of drawer and closet space. Pleanty of storage space under the bed for luggage.  Read entire member review.

9012 Great cabin, quiet, with lots of closet and storage. Refrig did not keep things very cold. Balcony adequate, with straight down views.  Read entire member review.
We chose a stateroom located at the "pointy" end of the ship on Deck 9 on Radiance of the Seas. We chose this location as it is quieter than midships or aft. And our choice was a wise one because it was indeed quiet, no foot traffic, away from the main hubs of ship's activities. If we are able to choose in the future, we will again choose this location.  Read entire member review.
9030 - Great views, quiet room, fun to see into the bridge from our balcony. Easy access to stairs, but not noisy.  Read entire member review.

Great ship but.... by newcruiserATL
Balcony room with comfortable bed, large sofa, dressing table, and enough closet and storage space for all our clothes. Bathroom is very small, but adequate. Dressing table made the small bathroom more usable for two people.Balcony was large enough for two chairs and a small table. Unfortunately, people around us smoked so balcony time had to limited when they were "enjoying" their cigarettes.  Read entire member review.

Cabin had enough storage space, balcony and furniture were good.
