Simply awesome.
If you can get a Family Veranda cabin on a Millenium-class ship, particularly at one of the aft corners, you owe it to yourself to do so.
Two flat screen TVs, tonnes of space for storage and moving about, and that enormous balcony which is great for entertaining guests. Read entire member review. |

Our cabin was 7202, an aft Family View. Loved, loved, loved the amount of storage... there were drawers we never used. It was easy unpacking with all that extra space... two closets plus all the drawer storage. Huge corner balcony was fantastic; there was a square table with four chairs near the sliding glass door; there were also 4 lounge chairs, and room for more. The extra space in the cabin really made the cruise a pleasure; I am so glad we tried the room and will certainly look for them again in the future. Read entire member review. |

Excellent cabin. Family Veranda stateroom with a corner aft balcony. The cabin was huge with a separate sleeping and sitting area. Tons of closet space and drawers. The balcony was huge!!! It was fabulous! We were on deck 8 aft so the aft lounge / dining area was two decks above us. We enjoyed this because the steel drum musicians would play there about 2 times a day and we could hear them from our balcony. PLEASE NOTE: Now some people MIGHT not like that, so be aware that you will definitely hear music from the aft upstairs lounge area that is at the back of the ship / buffet area. The family veranda's did not sell out and were still available a week prior to sailing, when they are available close to sailing they open them up for couples so we changed our cabin from a Concierge 2 to the family veranda.
We were in a C-2 on our first cruise with celebrity and will use that for reference in comparing this cabin. The corner family veranda 8166 is the best cabin I have ever had, I would take it over all the concierge cabins and most of the suites. It has 2 separate rooms divided by partition. It has 2 vinyl couches in the sitting room. It is clean and well cared for. It's claim to fame however, is the balcony. It is 6 times larger than the C-3 or C-2 balconies. It has 5 lounge chairs, 4 standard chairs and 2 tables and room for more. It has a 270 degree view as it sticks out on the side and you can look all the way down the starboard side and it sticks out in the back and you can see all the way across the aft. I could have spent the entire cruise on the balcony!
