Great room - butler service was very nice for our family. Bed was extremely comfortable, one of the best I've slept on. Bathtub was very nice for the kids, shower was small. Balcony was huge!  Read entire member review.

We stayed in the Hydra Suite, one of the penthouse suites. We LOVED it. At first it felt small, but as the cruise got going it was everything we needed. Comfortable, private and enough space. We had a private deck which we used often. We got two towel animals and our room was cleaned twice per day. We can't imagine staying in a smaller room now (spoiled). Closet space was definately sufficient. Bathroom was roomy enough.

The room was pretty quiet and insulated, although if you looked up from the private deck you could see the public upper decks and anyone hanging out there. A french fry ended up on our deck, but a sea gull ate it.  Read entire member review.

Large, 3 closets, dresser drawers, couch, table, 2 chairs, 2 TV's, DVD player, stereo with Boze speakers, jacuzzi tub, large bathroom, comfortable bed with ocean view. Great balcony with 2 chaise lounges. Quiet location, but close to everything. The best cabin on the ship.  Read entire member review.

Great Weekend at Sea! by EduCruiser

Firstly, one should know that the picture on NCL's website does not show this accurately. Our port, aft-facing stateroom #9075 was a wonderful, quiet oasis. A full-sized bathtub, separate shower, lovely quartz-toped vanity with ample storage and full-sized hairdryer made the bathroom spacious and easy to use. The floor tile was in need of repair, and the shower was simply the standard, cruise-sized stall, but it was fine for our needs.

Upon entering the stateroom, the bedroom is straight ahead. The bed is extremely comfortable, as were the down-filled pillows and duvet, but it did take up most of the bedroom. A bureau and closet flanked a nice sit-down vanity and desk. Again, though, this is not a large room and space is limited. A sliding door made an easy entrance to the large, curved balcony.

The second room is larger than the bedroom and has a medium-sized, round table with two comfortable chairs. There is also a sleeper-love seat, coffee machine (ours was in repairs and we didn't have it, although our butler would have brought us coffee if we asked him to, which we did not). Everything about the stateroom exceeded our expectations.

One item to note about this stateroom's location: Deck 9 is wonderful, quiet, and easy to navigate. Our balcony was two floors beneath an outdoor eating area. Twice, we awoke to orange slice garnishments, once to a chicken drumstick, and once to an errant flip-flop! When one books a balcony I suppose these are things that are out of one's control. We just laughed it off and were quite amused.

Overall, the stateroom (suite) was superb. Great Elemins hair and body products, comfortable robes, and fantastic beds and bedding made this a great choice for our family of four.

Sky offers new bonus by Jimmy Gimbels
Ants in the bathroom. HONEST! Left channel on sound system does not work. Huge balcony but crammed with too much furniture. Great concierge. Not sure why they offer a Butler...he does nothing for you. Room steward top notch. Towels a bit tread bare. Comfortable room service. Bed has a foam-top layer that retains body heat. It feels like you are roasting to death. Bathroom could use a remodel. Shower doors do not close correctly so entire bathroom gets wet. Jetted tub does not work. Free bottle of champagne...very low quality. Nice floral centerpiece. Even with all the lights on..the living room/dinning room is very dimly light. Nice robes and slippers. Small safe barely holds an i-pad. Bring your adapter...90% of room outlets require them. Great view off of back of ship. Very nice decorating.  Read entire member review.

Lyra Suite, #9275, perhaps the best cabin on the boat. Rear-facing HUGE balcony with two sliding glass doors (one per bedroom) leading to the balcony. The fact that the balcony faces the rear of the ship means that it is less windy than the front. And deck #9 means that there is one more deck above this suite of cabins, which means it is more quiet than if you were on deck #10, with the very busy cafe above you. We never heard a peep from anyone around us, above or below us, the entire 5 days. Separate bedrooms (2) and big clean, modern bathroom with separate jacuzzi tub. Clean and unworn furnishings, carpets, and outdoor floor. New paint, shiny fixtures, and great espresso machine! This suite spoiled us.  Read entire member review.

Wonderful Cruise by janpa70

We had an aft-penthouse suite and the room was nice. The balcony is my favorite part. Lots of deck space. The bed was very comfortable. I think I slept better on it them mine at home. Loved the jacuzzi tub.

Aft Penthouse suite 9275 - great balcony, Quite since rooms are above and below. Great position since most of the activity onboard is located center and aft on the ship.  Read entire member review.

If you have a family, going with a suite is the way to go. The tailored butler/concierge service is awesome. They take phenomenal good care of you all over the ship, staff does a great job of this. My particular suite had bunk-bed like area that can accommodate two kiddos. One was on the bottom, one on the top. This was a bonus for us because we didn't really want to bring out the pull-out sofa, so it was great to have our kids in one room. This little room for the kids also had a t/v.

Having the espresso maker is a plus, and there is an in-room safe. You also have a tv, cd, and dvd player.
