Norwegian Sky staterooms are perfect if you want to bring the kids along. Sleeps up to three guests and includes a sitting area, two lower beds that convert into a queen-size bed and a pull out sofa to accommodate one more. Not to mention the floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open to a private balcony for the whole family to enjoy.
Our balcony was 10 AFT cabin number 0049. We had a great view of the ports and when were "parked" in the ocean.
The closet was not big and could only hold one large suitcase. There were plenty of hangers. The bathroom was small but worked out okay for us, we were near the elevator but chose to walk up or down at times, the hallway was quiet and although our cabin stated it can sleep three it was really suitable for two.
we where in room 0050. Deck 10. Close to the elevators and only one floor to food. We liked our room. We had a balcony room. I would get one of these if you can. 10th floor we saw every port, enjoyed our nights and mornings on it. Bathroom is a bit small, shower very small. But it was good and we didn't need much more. 9259 - had some issues with a "teakettle noise" when at sea thru the door of the adjoining room. Due to VERY high winds. Staff sent carpenters to address it but it continued off and on. Stuck towel under door -- helped. We were never in room anyway!!!! Great location tho and we loved the balcony. Had a queen bed rather than two twins. Hard bed but we like that. Pillows very big (I like small mushy) but my daughter loved them. Nice reading lite overhead for me. Sometimes heard people in adjoining room but not an issue... Read entire member review.
Cabin number 9260: Quiet location that is sandwiched between decks with only cabins on them. Small room but adequate storage. Very small shower with a shower curtain. Small balcony but adequate with two chairs and a small table. This cabin is an adjoining cabin and therefore you can very easily hear what is going on in the adjoining cabin. This is due to the door between the two cabins. Would suggest not booking an adjoining cabin due to being able to hear what is going on in the next room. Read entire member review.
