The "E" category veranda suite compares very favorably to the Princess standard although it was nice to have extra seating. The closest was a bit small for our luggage and clothing but otherwise roomy for 2 people Read entire member review. |

848 is a standard "Deluxe" suite. The bathroom has a bath with shower over the bath (important for us). Only slight problem - it is right against a bulkhead and I believe that this impeded transmission of e mails etc on the internet. It did not interfere with internet access at all. Just uploading was problemmatic. Its mid-ship location would be great in high seas, but we didn't experience that! Read entire member review. |

The balcony cabin midships was absolutely brilliant. Walk in robe was a "god send" for such a long cruise. Bathroom was big enough for 2 people to be in there at the same time. Very rare on all other vessels we have been on. Separate seating area to bed area and then the balcony. Very comfortable and very clean and one never felt any cabin fever. Port side, great location for our cruise, as we faced most interesting ports. Opposite Amalfi docks when anchored; Opposite Monte Carlo Casino when anchored; opposite San Margherita when anchored are two examples.... Room has a tub, which was my wife's favorite. Fantastic walk in wardrobe with ample hanging space, which then offers more overall room within the stateroom.
Outstanding virtually fully tiled bathroom - the best shower i have had on any cruise ship with walk in enclosure and rainfall shower head. Read entire member review. |
