We booked M253 and it was completely quiet. It is set up as a quad cabin which I should have paid more attention to when I booked. It has the wooden structures on both sides of the room which are the murphy beds. With only two of us, these beds took up space and next time I will make sure it is a double room, not a quad or a triple. No refrigerator on carnival in this class of ships which was a disappointment. I think most of us expect a fridge of some sort in a balcony room. That was my only gripe. The shower was larger than I expected. I loved the room and the balcony was so pleasureable. Read entire member review. |

Ours was a balcony stateroom located in the very back of the ship. Because of its location it was quiet at night. The room had a nice comfortable bed and also had plenty of storage in the three closets and drawers under the dressing table. The lighting was adequate. One problem, unless you recognize it while looking around you will wonder where the AC control is located. It is on the ceiling. To get to it you have to kneel or stand on the bed which is an experience in itself. Once you find it the AC works fine. There was also a safe in one of the closets but could only be opened by one person. This was a problem when the one person able to open the safe was not available. The bathrooms were clean, but small. Adequate hot water at any time. One problem was fresh towels were brought to the room in the late afternoon. Read entire member review. |

Our "junior suite" was smaller than expected. The decor was extremely outdated and the bathroom felt "cheap". Read entire member review. |
