The room was quiet. We didn't hear any noise from the neighbors or the hall. The one comment I would have is that the room is similar to one you might have in an older Holiday Inn. The bathtub could stand to be replaced, it was showing its age. Also, for those taller people like me, you will have to almost sit down to get underneath the shower head. Overall, you cannot beat the space that we had for a family of four. We are sold on suite cruising now and hope never to go back to anything else with the four of us. Read entire member review.
Cabin U70: Close to midship elevators. We didn't hear a sound from the cabins on either side of us. Cabin is in the GS category, so has upgraded bathroom (full jacuzzi bath instead of shower) and private balcony. It is the first cabin in the row of suites in the middle of the boat. Room U87 was located mid-ship. Nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Room had RCA-style hookups if you wanted to connect a DVD-player or something (the kind that have the Red, White, and Yellow connectors along with an S-video connector). Private balcony was awesome, although view to the right was obstructed a little because right next door were the ES suites with the extended balcony. Room has a sleeper sofa, I believe, although we never used it. Bathroom was nice, although if you're a tall person (like 6' or taller) you will have trouble with the shower/tub unit not being tall enough. You could feel some motion on the first night, but it wasn't bad compared to a floor or two higher up. You definitely don't want a higher floor unit, IMO. Read entire member review.
