Cabin was described as obscured view. The obstruction was said to be the walking track around the deck. The obstructions also included a bulkhead right in front of the window. Could not see the ocean without climbing up on the windowsill and craning your neck. Go for an inside cabin and save money. Read entire member review. |

3429 - Wheelchair accessible cabin. Huge, with room for the manual chair to stay open, and closet space for three. Ingenious drainage system in the roll-in shower. Downside is that cabin window looks out onto the promenade deck. Window is heavily silvered, so it is difficult to look into the room from outside during the day, but at night the curtains must be drawn. Very quiet. Read entire member review. |

Very spacious, wheelchair-friendly cabin. Easy access to forward deck under bridge. Yes, there is a rarely-used staircase outside the window, but the space is shaded by the bridge above. I called it 'my private deck chair'. Excellent place to sit and watch the Great Barrier Reef. In this cabin, you can hear the shows from the Frans Hals Lounge at night, but they end at 9.30 pm. Not an issue. Read entire member review. |

We knew our room would a partial oceanview. What we didn't know was the promenade was right outside our window with a constant parade of folks And then there was a huge metal support beam. Perhaps I should blame this snafu on my travel agent. The room itself was a joke. The TV was so small and so far away that it was difficult to see and I'd have to crank up the volume to hear though my roommate was trying to sleep (it was nice that the ship had a free DVD library). And you had to lay in bed to see the TV (which I hate to do); the useless love seat was facing the beds not the TV and couldn't be moved due to the room's configuration. To add to the clutter, useless drawn-back curtains were placed between the beds and the already cramped couch/TV areas. This useless addition actually made the room feel even smaller. Lots of storage, good location for elevators and walk-around deck. Only one plug-in for the entire cabin. Storage under the bed for suitcases. Be prepared for early risers who do make a little noise.
